It will be interesting to see what the recent Swiss news about keeping a extra Eye on icos and possible impact of this on Napoleonx roadmap.

First the ICO ban of South Korea, then Russia wants to ban BTC payments and now Switzerland is investigating ICOs. I really hope that won't let the market slip into the next downtrend. That would make it even harder for an ICO to raise money.

We have read the news as everyone this week and contacted our Swiss lawyer for some feedback. ICO are still possible in Switzerland but require to get a FINMA approval (Swiss regulator) before launch. As you can imagine, this is a slow machine and we will make an announcement tomorrow on this topic. As you may be aware, we have been exploring a French alternative since the start. Together with this decision, we will make additional announcement, for the better of this project.
It's a bad thing that all those ICO regulations are emerging now. Every invention into the market is not good.
this regulations is just help us avoid scam ico and make sure founder will be serious with their project

Yes these regulations are there for a reason and it's a good thing to make it hard for scammers to steal money from investors. Nevertheless these new requirements also effect good and solid projects like NapoleonX. I hope they will get the FINMA approval soon and without problems.

The system will be for online and offline, the A-Drop system allows merchants to drop coins in a geographic location which will benefit offline locations, we envisions merchants holding treasure hunts with various vouchers and the end destination being their store or event. Pokemon Go with real world prizes! Additionally the A-drop system will let merchants to send tokens directly in to the wallets of their target customers, like an electronics chain sending a promotion to every male, who has spent more than $500 on electronics in the last year in New York. This can drive traffic to both online and offline stores!

This system is explained in our System Overview https://www.gatcoin.io/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/170928v2-GATCOIN-System-Overview.pdf

Is your A-Drop system able to recognize if a user tries to fake his geographic location with a GPS spoofing app to get the tokens airdropped to his wallet?

Who knows how intensively DAF, which are planned, will work? Will it be intraday trading? or a transaction, for example, once every three days, once a week?

Deal once a week? It's a robot. High-frequency trade. Why do I need an algorithm, once a week and I can make a deal. However, I believe that the bot will have different strategies for trading. Although in order to use the algorithm to maximize, I would prefer high speed. But the developers know better, I rely on their professionalism. Investors do not need to do anything, only to make a profit. Smiley

As already mentioned here, NapoleonX bots will focus mainly on low frequency trading and with the experience the team got, I am sure they have their reasons to prefer it over high-frequency trading.
2784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟🚀 [ANN][ICO] PAYPIE 🌟🌟🚀 World’s First Blockchain Accounting Credit Score on: October 02, 2017, 12:40:11 PM
1 mounth for an ico is pretty nice. Its even a lot of time, andni think paypie will raised a lot of money fast, so in 1 mounth the project will raised a lot more. I think a lot of people wait the 15 in starting block to enter in paypie, with the potential of the project and the actual hype, the value will skyrocket !

1 month is more than enough for an ico, yes Smiley

i believe that they will even rise more than the hard cap Smiley

there is so much time and effort already in this project, it must be skyrocket at the end for sure!
Yep, this project has become a hype even before the crowdsale begins.
So we will see a very positive result for sure  Smiley

I am pretty sure they won't raise more than the hard cap Grin But I got you mean, the potential of PayPie is enormous and with all the hype around this project I am confident the ICO will be a complete success for everyone involved, the PayPie team and the investors.
2785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SOMA - The Social Marketplace on: October 02, 2017, 11:14:21 AM
Cheesy I see this project on icobench. After read all information I think this is a good project. why this thread not active. pump it for everyone can see this good project

Same here, just saw the rating of 4.9 on ICObench, which drew my attention to SOMA. And it seems like a lot of others think the same way, SOMA already raised an impressive amount in their ICO in just a short amount of time.
2786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🔵 UTRUST 🔵 The future of online payments is here. on: October 02, 2017, 11:04:07 AM
Interesting project.

So comparing utrust and tenx. Tenx payments would be to spend crypto in real, physical shops, but Utrust would be used only for online payments?
So they are not directly competing with each other?

Also I can't believe anyone hasn't already done a project like this Cheesy

Or is there any direct competition?

There's monetha but they seem very limited with multiple cryptocurrency support. Also, they doesn't seems very active with development and all as utrust is.

Monetha and TenX targets different use-cases in thebc ecosystem.

Tenx and UTRUST are completely different, they will not be in competition with eachother.
Monetha and UTRUST can be competitors, I personally found UTRUST better then Monetha, Utrust will use more different crypto's, system design, ...

Cant wait to see this fly over Monetha Wink
Well they could be competitors in terms of their coin. Monetha is a great competitor of utrust in terms of its services and the whole project itself. But tenx is so different from utrust.

Well Monetha is a great competitor for UTrust, but if UTrust manage to handle the platform like they want to with the fee model etc. they will outstand over Monetha in nearly every aspect.

Exactly like that. Utrust is more promising and because of that, it is getting some attacks from monetha investors.

Actually, if they are so worried about utrust, they should just sell their tokens and participate the ico of utrust.

You know, like people don't want to sell what they have because then they have to admit that they made a not so good investment in the end. But could imagen that some are coming over to UTrust or even invest in both.

Well I could understand that investors of Monetha want to hold their tokens. The ICO was sold out super fast and the price is just a bit higher now than at the ICO. It would make more sense for them to diversify and invest in UTrust, too.
2787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟🚀 [ANN][ICO] PAYPIE 🌟🌟🚀 World’s First Blockchain Accounting Credit Score on: October 02, 2017, 10:55:03 AM
For such popular and strong projects as paypie, it would be nice to have a whitelist or an individual cap like in icon so everyone can participate

Perhaps an individual cap, that will ensure nobody holds too many coins, but a whitelist is not necessary, they already decided that there will be a pre-ico, with a minimum investment size, so there is no need for more, the project is already good as it is.

Yes, a maximum cap per individual is must. This way price can not be controlled by a small group of whales.

I disagree, though is seems good at first ,you have to take into account the possibility that they may not get enough investors. that's when wales step in and compensate.

If a project has great vision then people will invest in it and they don't have to whales.
Cindicator set an example how ico should work. That was most closed ico ever and still they reached the hard cap before end date.
Less spread is always harmful.

Even though a project has a great vision, doesn't mean it will attract more investors. Without whales, almost impossible for a project to run as expected.

Well I think you underestimate how much a big community can invest in an ICO, it doesn't always need whales for an ICO to reach its goal.

And btw. the restriction to a maximum of 100 ETH is just for the pre-sale, maybe there wont be one in the main-ICO.
2788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟 ⚡🚀ANN: GATCOIN Blockchain Rewards Program for Mainstream Retailers🌟 ⚡🚀 on: October 01, 2017, 09:59:06 PM
And some other news from Japan that may be positive for GATCOIN.

The Financial Services Agency (FSA) in Japan approved 11 companies to operate cryptocurrency exchanges in the country.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/japan-issues-cryptocurrency-exchange-licenses

Perhaps GATCOIN can apply their GAT Exchange with the FSA?

Japan also plans to implement it's own crypto-currency called J-Coin. They really lead the way in the crypto world.
2789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🔵 UTRUST 🔵 The future of online payments is here. on: October 01, 2017, 09:41:52 PM
Yes, UTRUST could eleminate the problems of PayPal payments, so that it could as additional effect enlarge the acceptance of cryptocurrency payments. Wish you great success with your project.
I'm really hoping that someday Utrust will replace Paypal. This maybe 2 years from now or 10 years but it's totally possible  Cool
Utrust is designed to be better than the existing payment systems. This is PayPal 2.0 in the crypto currency market.

And I believe that, if UTrust manage to get their platform working as planed, it will be only a matter of time till more and more switch from PayPal. The advantages of UTrust are just too big.
2790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟 ⚡🚀ANN: GATCOIN Blockchain Rewards Program for Mainstream Retailers🌟 ⚡🚀 on: October 01, 2017, 09:06:29 PM
create own reward token base on their platform ( and their platform is base on ethereum network). wonder how they can do that
Where do you see problem here? They will create platform for convenient token creation that even non-techie guys will be able to do this  Cheesy

The GAT-network uses the SLL-technology for it's merchant tokens (https://www.gatcoin.io/how-it-works-high-speed-super-large-ledger-technology/).
2791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] [NaPoleonX] 1st 🌟French🌟 algorithmic crypto asset manager 🚀 on: October 01, 2017, 08:56:31 PM
token will be tradable very fast after the ico, and I think the value will continue to increase, we will not see a dump of the token. With the possibility of a trading bot, and the different Daf for different strategies, a lot of people will want to use the NapoleonX platform and make benefit !

We have to be realistic and expect a dump or two after this coin hits the exchanges, but im sure value will increase more and in long term we should all be in profit.
The popularity of bots is going up and NapoleonX has a great thing going here.
Why should we expect a coin dump when entering the exchange?
I think that if the project is promising, then the coin can be pumped.

But it often happens that right after the token gets listed on its first exchange, the price goes down because of the bounty hunters that dump their shares.

anyone here know the feel when paypal how more than 1k8$ from your account just because some strange report me. even they not use my design service.

What did they do? Did PayPal remove over $1000 from your balance? How is it even legally possible that they can take money or freeze accounts willy-nilly?

Usually it works this way. Buyer purchases your item, then files a chargeback against the credit card company. The money you got from that buyer is then taken out of your PayPal account.

Oh yeah, I have heard of that. It is a big problem for merchants selling digital goods, especially those without DRM. The buyer can do a chargeback after copying the data.

It is even worse when stolen credit cards are involved. For example, the game publisher TinyBuild claims that people bought their games in their webshop with stolen credit cards who then performed chargebacks and resold the keys on the grey market G2A. Then the story gets a bit fuzzy. I think TinyBuild could revoke the keys, but the end-users bought them in good faith on G2A, so that could backfire.

https://www.kotaku.com.au/2016/06/g2a-fires-back-at-developer-gives-them-three-days-to-provide-suspicious-keys/

I had also a first hand experience with that. Sold some digital goods from a game, buyer pays with a stolen credit card. Money got chargebacked. Case closed and nothing I could do about it. Lost only around $100 but it still bothers me. Since then I started to sell for BTC and got involved in the cryptoworld and here I am  Grin
2793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟🚀 [ANN][ICO] PAYPIE 🌟🌟🚀 World’s First Blockchain Accounting Credit Score on: October 01, 2017, 08:05:08 PM
I heard as per new rules it is mandatory to have a working platform before the ico to show the tokens can be spendable. Would this applies to paypie also or is it out the new rule sets because of its jurisdiction area?

Are you talking about Korea based ICOs or ICOs in general? Or China based maybe? PayPie isn't based in Korea or China, I see no problems at all
That would make no sense. The purpose of an ICO is to raise funds to develop a product. If it's mandatory to have a working platform before the ico many good projects wouldn't be possible.

That's right!
I would also like to know where these new rules are stated, to which country they apply, etc. If it's not just a rumour or hearsay someone can provide perhaps a source.
As long as PayPie countries do not introduce regulatory regulations for ICO.
Then these are no impact on PayPie.
I am more concerned about the PayPie team's planning of the project and the current advance of PayPie.

If this is true , it would significantly decrease the number of ICO's on the market. Having a working product is no easy feat.

There are no official new rules for ALL ico's. Maybe just some new laws in Korea and China. But still a lot of other countries Smiley
Why do people really concern into this stuff? You are right no matter how they impose new laws regarding on ICO but still there are lots of countries as of now which can freely made any decisions without any laws to follow up.Just go with the traditional way.

It can make uncertainty. If Korea and China ban, others will follow?

It's a delicate market, everything is affecting bitcoin price and ico contributions. This kind of news is toxic for us.

Of course it should concern us when a country like South Korea decides to ban local ICOs. Btw. Switzerland is investigating ICOs, too. Maybe they'll make some regulations as well?
It's naive to think that these news don't have an effect at all to the success of an ICO.
Why are you so afraid of countries or governments blocking ICOs? Blockchain can't be blocked. Even if whole world will ban ICO how they could prevent from investing?

I am not afraid, I just think these immediate stop of ICOs might scare some newcomers, because we are just in the beginning of the acceptance of cryptos. Some of you say it doesn't matter that South Korea bans Korean ICOs, they can still participate in foreign ones. But for a Korean who just bought his first ETH and now stumbles across ICOs and learns that they are banned in his country, why should he participate in a foreign one?
2794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟 ⚡🚀ANN: GATCOIN Blockchain Rewards Program for Mainstream Retailers🌟 ⚡🚀 on: October 01, 2017, 07:48:18 PM

You are right, Japan is not just a big market, it is also a crypto-friendly market. Have you seen this table?

Japan 126 million people and crypto is legal there. Great place to start.
Wow, that's a tremendous amount of yen. It's really poor how less euro/bitcoin are traded there.

Yes, compared to Japan the volume in Europe is a joke. Is definitly a wise move to start with a partnership with the crypto-oriented Japanese.

Quote
A    minimal    size    is    necessary    to    preserve    the    generated    performance    from    execution    and    fixed    costs
impacts.    Although    it    may    be    appreciated    on    a    case-by-case    basis,    20    000    ETH    is    a    minimal    amount    to
launch   a   DAF
.

So, minimum amount for launch project is 20,000 ETH? Im understand correctly? 20,000 - its their soft cap?

when they reach soft cap, they will launch the program, when not, they will re-adjust the plan, maybe.
Grin or maybe they follow eventchain. change their soft cap if not many people invest. just joke. this project so good so I think this soft cap is easy to reach

Most of the icos doing like so. If they can't reach the soft cap and the funded amount is good, they just lower the soft cap. It is too meaningless.

If you can run the project with lower numbers, then you should announce it in the first place.

Not at the end.

I don't know what will be for napoleonx, I hope they reach numbers they are aiming for.

Ive been in a few fintech nische sales where min.cap has not been reached. The teams announced min.cap was not reached and all Investors was refunded within a week. This is a nice approach I Think.

Also, if you look at the ICOs after the summer most of them are copy cats of each other with a few original ones. Even the min, soft and hardcap looks the same. Its like everyone is looking at eachother for the caps and works out the budget numbers from the cap amounts.

I hope the best for npx but it will be very competitive timing for their ICO whereas they should try to allocate as much liquidity as possible in their "presale".

Just to be clear. The minimum cap for the NapoleonX ICO is 25 000 ETH. If this cap isn't reached, the investors can get their Ether back.

The 20 000 ETH that is mentioned there is the minimum amount each of the following DAF ICOs will have.

May be they will can agree with big Korean exchanges - Bithumb? Or what about they talk in Korea? Can anyone give a detailed description of this meetUp in Korea? They come back from Korea already? Right? What news they have?  Roll Eyes

Better than detailed description you can check a video of a presentation in Korea - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxryo8t3uCI
I think their timing for a visit couldnt be better since South Korea banned domestic ICO right after their visit and everyone will now focus on foreign ICOs. They just made themselves a perfect commercial.

Well or you can see it the other way. Maybe the South Koreans are now doubtful and suspicious of ICOs generally.

One of the strengh of algorithmic is the stress model which evaluate the best way to taking into account the worst case scenario. A gifted human could do it but it does not have the right to error. It saves time and security that bring the serenity to the investor.

Humans will always make an emotional mistake in the long run. No way humans can be unbiased with numbers and stress when it involves money.
Bots are the future for most things that involve money:D

To be frank I hold a good amount of crypto but, I can't trade freely. I get too nervous while selling or buying anything. Waiting to see NapoleonX in action perhaps it could help me.

Having too many coins require a good management since it will make our trading habit becomes so hard. It is better to focus on one or two coins to gain max understanding about the price movements. But if in the future NapoleonX can help us to manage our trading that involved a lot of types of coins, that will be awesome.

Im sure sooner or later you will be able to trade multiple coins with NapoleonX.  I agree with you that in this flood of coins is hard to keep up with everything, when you focus on few, you miss the opportunity in others. Even if you manage to find time for all, your lack of knowledge will result in mistakes.

Well at first NapoleonX won't trade many crypto currencies because of the low trading volume. It takes time before the cryptoworld is mature enough.
