I was really interested too, but after doing some serious thinking about all those points above, I am not so sure.   In fact, I think it's really insane to dump any large amount of btc into it.   At this point in time, there are over 3900 btc that got sucked out of the altcoin scene into ETH.   This is going to be some dark age for alt coins I am afraid.

Well, every time people mention price someone always say "we are still in an uptrend", I can tell you, no we are not in an uptrend. This is going down more than I imagined. Someone clearly dumps a lot of XC. I hope this coin can survive all the dumping, because many coins just die when the dumping begins even if the developers are doing a great work. Not much we can do about it, if you are average trader. I hold my thumbs for XC. 

since people might only wanna try EM to protect their privacy at the beginning of XC adoption, is it possible to add an option that could let user select between full functional wallet and EM function only wallet?
This lite wallet could save a lot of storage space and is easy to put into mobile.

Thanks for the daily update Arlyn, it'll help a lot.  I actually was planning on summarizing updates every night for people who couldn't read back through everything on a daily basis but obviously it works even better if you're doing it since you have the latest info.

arlyn, all of a sudden we have a bunch of newb members holding huge conversations amongst themselves on this thread. it's comical from my perspective. reading through this thread the past weeks, i see that this team IS a focus group and any attempt at manufactured drama here is being ignored by those impressed by you, we are also ignoring the momentary suppressed value of our investment. Just keep doing what your doing (as if you aren't already!)

I dont think you guys understand why people are dumping and to be honest it blows my mind. It's simple, its nothing to do with the quality of the product, its how the messages are delivered and sometimes, the content.

Mistake 1, the late Rev 2 release, huge mega dump.

Mistake 2, promises new road map during the weekend, proceeds to make almost THE SAME mistake by revealing the new road map late on Sunday.

Mistake 3, road map is pretty much the same thing as the first one,  just presented differently. Lets be serious, that is what took a few days to wait for and also with no ETA?

In the meantime no one seems to acknowledge the fact that there are other coins around that people can make short term money from while XC is floundering. People are able to make serious money in the crypto market but cannot do that if their money is tied in XC, and that is why they dump.

Its not a whale dumping, its people that want to make money and dont want to wait months.

Please for goodness sakes have some sort of Focus Group to test how people will receive your announcements, it really is bad the way they're being delivered. Also, when you say 'weekend release' you better make sure you release that news on a Saturday and not late on a Sunday.

Im going to let your community in on a big secret....That why i made this account. When DRK started that fud storm and crashed the price they did it because they were intimidated by XC and its DEV.. Well like any smart trader.. DRK saw the opportunity to take charge over the compettion they fear, They used instamine profits to buy a whole lot of XC cheap so they could smuther it.. I know this to be true..they've used the instamine for this more then once as well. Well good luck to this community....XC is a great coin, just got caught up in a bad situation drk created

As with most projects when you deal with multiple teams/projects, sometimes the 1 team does not stay current with the schedule. The ASIC is its own project, and the developer we had hired for the exchange has been fired due to his delays (and replaced). XC has its own team and I am only assisting with it where I can, other projects have no bearing on XC.

Cache is not a P&D, we still have all the coins and never sold them as any user can check. It is part of how we will build PoBC and is in ongoing development as you can see from the cachecoin thread.

It's not really that uncommon for sellers to wait for news in any financial market.  That's usually when the volume is and if they hold a large chunk of coins, that's the time with the most liquidity to exit.
