You don't if you have floor to ceiling double ended ventilation. Ie a door on one side and a door on the other....
I have my miners in my garage and this will be the first hot weekend of the summer. I'm hoping that by opening my garage door a few times a day I can recycle the air. Its north facing and thats where the cool wind comes from. If that doesnt work I have a 12000 BTC portable AC unit ready to go. Would rather not use it though. Exactly! For the vast majority of the year I cool my miners passively, with 0W. In the summer I simply add a 60W fan to help aid the ventilation to ambient. Its 40x more efficient than using AC. That's my plan too! Kudos. |

While you're making comparisons, how about adding this to the mix: the chips themselves. Who is producing (or trying to produce) chips with the highest GH per chip? I'd bet it's a lot easier to use hundreds of small GH chips than to use 2 large GH chips...
This type of e-peen contest of "who has it bigger" is simply retarded. HashFail used this in their marketing campaign too. We have the fastest chip, but we are not shipping anything! We are the best. If you had to resort to this then it's obvious that you are already losing. |

I am having my data center run 208V lines for my SP10s. They don't provide 220V, only 208V. Will that be enough to achieve 1.5 Th/s (I am currently hobbled at 1.3 Th/s due to the 110V limitation)? Also, I need to tell the data center what kind of amps I will be pulling from each - can anyone with a watt meter who is running 1.5 Th/s answer that question?

My current noise, according to a decibel meter app on my iPhone 4S reads between 80-82dB. So if it's about in that range, the noise should be fine. If its a lot higher then that, then I would have a problem. There is a room about 6 feet away, and my brother-in-law already complains slightly about a constant hum, so if it's any louder, he'll have a fit.

And the WINNER.. BitmainTech.. 2x S2 & 2 x S1 ordered same day as SP-GB will arrive DAYS ahead of SP10. I do want to say this is due to the transporter. DHL is a grouping of moronic idiots who seem to make things harder then required, UPS on the other hand is the fastest importer of hardware on Earth. Sorry ST my only regret is not having a choice to avoid DUH, I mean DHL MAYBE my SP10's will be powered by weeks end  Where do you live? For me in Europe it only took 2 days for DHL to reach me and another day for the delivery. I live in Cincinnati, which IS DUH's.. I mean DHL's US hub, UPS has a hub 2 hours south in Louisville. HANDS down DHL is worst shipper to US, I think they forget we own aircraft carriers so 99.8% of nations have trade agreements with us, so all the tax id crap they "require" is very euro. I have imported @ least 20 antMiners without a single question from UPS, EVERY TIME I get a DHL shipment some sort of r-tardedness seems to arise. My invoices were sealed in a plastic bag and they were computer generated. Also there are 2 places on the box for the invoice. And that shouldn't be an excuse for DHL.
