2781  Other / Off-topic / Re: What about a smartphone keyboard on: October 23, 2022, 10:19:06 PM
My question have been answered before about Keylogger and Clipboard hacks, they are 100%  real but every comments I read are talking about computers/PC only, can these hacks happen on a mobile smartphone too? Android phones to be precise.

keylogger and similar types of malware are not related to hardware, its software basis. on the code side, they look a bit different for windows and PC compared to android devices, but the essence is the same.

This reminds me of when I was repairing computers, so there was a case where they brought me a monitor to clean the viruses from it.  Cheesy
2782  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's up with ranking on: October 22, 2022, 10:49:38 AM
Hello 👋

I can see that some people have a high rank and some are lower, is it advisable to take advice from high rank members more serious than jr member and full members?

You did not say which type of advice you thinking but you mixed up two things here, forum rank with knowledge.
forum rank is gained by time and participation spent on the forum. many members reached a high rank (before the introduction of metrics) by spamming. if you need advice from someone who knows a certain subject well, forum rank has nothing to do with it.

there is also a certain number of old-new users. Members with a high rank who have achieved a negative reputation, start from scratch, and present themselves as newbies but already have experience with the functioning of the forum.
2783  Economy / Reputation / Re: About My Red Trust (Remove Request) on: October 22, 2022, 10:31:50 AM
Aren't all of us making money from our signature, avatar, personal text, website address space and possibly renting out whatever we can?

earning money by wearing a signature, avatar, or whatever is only an additional possibility, it should not be the only reason why someone writes on this forum. It doesn't seem to me that the OP really cares about the forum.

one of his previous feedbacks speaks in favor of this.

r1s2g3    2018-10-06    Reference    Spamming for signature campaign.

Statement in his own words
"EDIT: Today i see my name is deleted on spreadsheet. Last week i didnt see it, by the way i make 30 posts! I’m so unhappy to i can’t get my payment for my labor."
2784  Economy / Reputation / Re: About My Red Trust (Remove Request) on: October 22, 2022, 08:14:53 AM
Of course, he's blocked me for sending a personal message that's why I cannot contact with him from private message. I don't want to open a new account in here to have a new red trust because of multiple account. How can I solve this issue without reaching him?

you can't do anything without him about removing his feedback. But JollyGood has been mentioned here several times, so I believe that he will surely know about this thread, if he doesn't get in touch here, it's probably because he won't, and not because he hasn't seen it.

I want to remove these unfair red trusts from my profile and join few signature campaigns to earn some pocket money while I'm producing new topics and comments.
You've barely posted in the past years, since you got tagged. I don't think "wanting to earn money" is a very convincing reason to remove negative tags.

To me, this sounds quite arrogant. He must be paid for his contribution to this forum.
2785  Economy / Services / Re: 🔥🔥 Place Your Web Banner Ads on Coinweez.com 🔥🔥 on: October 21, 2022, 09:30:55 AM
Active

What exactly is active?
your site Coinweez.com is definitely not active. it seems that your hosting account has been suspended, you need to check it.

things like this should definitely not happen considering that you are selling advertising space on that page. Who wants to pay for something that won't always be online?
2786  Other / Meta / Re: Eliminate ban appeals, but change the perma ban at the same time. on: October 19, 2022, 11:26:09 AM
If say I got a ban now this account DaveF would be locked. I would have to come back as DaveF2

The point was that there are a lot of people evading bans now. Those that got banned for just spamming / being disruptive / whatever could come back BUT it's a new user. So they have posting limits and no images and all the other restrictions. I would think it would accomplish 2 things.

a permanent ban is certainly not an obstacle to creating a new account. I am of the opinion that most of the banned users have created new accounts. Some asked for an unban, and some just continued under a new name.
also, the smarter ones, who continued from the beginning, respected the rules and try to be in tune with them. there are always those who by nature cannot give up their model of behavior, here I mean trolls and fraudsters who try to sell the same scheme. but such are quickly exposed and then we have some "dramas" that DT members don't like it.

We already have a time limit and signature bans, which I think is quite enough. I would rather introduce that Newbie cannot open a new topic except in certain categories like Meta, Scam accusations, and Beginners & Help.
2787  Other / Meta / Re: I want to advertise on Bitcointalk forums on: October 19, 2022, 09:32:45 AM
Please contact me in pv, or just give me the link to where I can contact the marketing staff at Bitcointalk
I can not stop thinking.
You joined in 2017, a full member with 147 merits so far but you still do not know the forum does not have a marketing team/staff. Obviously you can check out the members who offer campaign management service.

May I know, how many posts you made so for since you have started to visit the forum?

it is quite possible. you have a lot of forum members who do not leave certain sections, for example, gambling, and altcoin... and they do not know what is happening in the meta and other sections, because they are not interested in it.
as far as I can see on his website, he is a gamer/developer and it is clear to me that he is not interested in finding alt accounts on the forum.
in the end, if you look at some discussions and certain boards like a reputation, for example, you will see that a limited number of members come there and comment.

in the meantime, dkbit98 write what I want to say to OP.
2788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: October 18, 2022, 09:06:08 PM
Mining will be activated in 6 hours, time to upgrade.

there is still confusion here on the network. the counter for the next validation, although it shows zeros.
maybe the next validation is already scheduled for October 22nd too early, obviously, not all errors have been fixed.

2789  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Best Google Ads Account with $350 Spendable Limit on: October 18, 2022, 08:56:33 PM
You write an article with almost 1200 words, probably the same is on your website. I didn't read it all because it's too long and boring for me. you repeat the same thing but in different ways, plus buy, buy push...
In the end, you didn't write the price, and we have to register on your page to find out the price. so I spent some time looking at your offer and didn't find out anything except "Buy Google ads Account".  Huh
2790  Economy / Reputation / Re: [FUN][In Merit] Post Count Down To Your Next Rank Here. on: October 18, 2022, 05:56:46 PM
You are right, I will soon reach a new rank which is now less than 20 merit. I might have to be patient enough to keep trying my best and not think too much about how much time it will take me to rank up, I'm sure everything will rank up naturally in time especially when we want to post something useful.

here you have fulfilled the required merit quota, you become a Hero member. I hope you will live up to the merits you have earned.
however, you have too many deleted posts from the moderators (170), you should probably pay more attention to the quality of your writing

Sure, there are still many things to improve. It is true English isn't our national language, it is a foreign language in my country.
Thank you for your advice, buddy. I will learn more and do harder efforts to improve it.

I saw you missing a few merits for a rank upgrade but Ultegra134 did it before me.
you too could encourage yourself to visit other parts of the forum. Posting mostly in mega discussion threads leads to the verge of writing useless spam and it is not what recommends you to be accepted in better signature campaigns.
writing on the 12th page of some gambling discussion topic is completely negligible, probably no one reads it.
2791  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BTC mining farm - Argentina - We are looking for investors on: October 18, 2022, 05:39:18 PM
We are 3 founding partners (2 men and 1 woman). The 3 of us live in Argentina.

Our startup is registered in the USA although we operate from Argentina, this is to protect our investors and offer greater legal security in such a troubled world and more so in the cryptographic ecosystem.

so which legal region do you belong to, USA or Argentina? If something goes wrong, whether you are within the reach of the competent authorities of the USA?

You tell us here about a little history but the fact is that you have not told us anything about yourself except that you have been mining for 1.5 years. That is not enough.

I do not share company name to avoid generating spam.
Any comments, suggestions or concerns are welcome and I will be happy to respond.

you have no reason to hide the name and information of the company and spam is probably the weakest excuse for hiding a company's identity. investors have the right to know to who they are giving money.

We need a lot of knowledge in the space to help us make better investment decisions and how to gainfully engage the Bitcoin network for maximum benefits.

Would be glad to receive a review.
As stated at the bottom, both compliments and criticism are welcomed.

I quickly looked at what you wrote, looks pretty good to me. You covered a lot of topics through the way of writing acceptable even for beginners. after I read the complete text, maybe I will leave a more detailed review.
However, bookmarked your page. Do you plan to expand the topic and add new material?
2793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: October 18, 2022, 01:41:13 PM
this has become crap and it's getting more and more tiresome for me. Two minutes before validation, my node going to offline. Of course, that is not possible to restart it in just 2 minutes, he needs much more time. I don't remember which validation went smoothly, even if the flips or keywords are not loaded.
With the last update, we got ad space on the app, woohoo now I can watch commercials, that's exactly what I want. that was the highest priority.

2794  Economy / Services / Re: Which is your preferred Method to Accept Bitcoins.. on: October 18, 2022, 01:19:23 PM
IDK, but this offered choice seems a little confusing to me.
Western Union, Money Gram, and Bank transfers are payment methods. you can be paid for some development or Selling Products through WU. You can't get any satoshis using only WU, you have to give something in return. Money, goods, service, or whatever.

I would suggest you check https://bestchange.com and select "popular" on the left side. you will get statistics on which services are used the most in reality. at least based on the traffic of about 250 different exchangers.
2795  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for people with significant social media influence/follower count on: October 18, 2022, 12:13:20 PM
@examplens
Have you made any tweets since the last time you posted in this thread and how did it go?

yes, I released a few tweets about it. to be honest, sometimes I forget about this action. I will bump here or maybe create a group where the activity will be held, it would definitely help. this is currently a guerilla approach and it is a little harder to follow the whole process as well as the success itself.

I am not sure who is behind https://twitter.com/BitcoinCleanup account, but maybe the whole thing could start from there.

I am not very active over social media and don't follow many people or crypto personalities.

Just do a search on Twitter for the two mentioned hashtags #EcoFriendlyPoW and #EndTheFUD, it's easy to see.
2796  Economy / Services / Re: Searching for IT designers/programers on: October 18, 2022, 11:54:11 AM
Thank you, how ever i have not claimed he is a scammer...Yet. But its been 12 days since we send payment and no replyes what so ever.
I will give it 7 more days and then do a scam report.

Feels strange someone would scam me for a few hundred bucks and blacklist a account wich has been active here since 2017. There for im giving it 7 more days...

Even if you open scam accusations, you can always withdraw it if the problem is solved positively. Also if it is proven that he was unavailable for justified reasons, even potential red tags will be removed.
No one wants to destroy someone's reputation, but we have already seen various reasons why a scam happened. Even from members with a much stronger reputation.
2797  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Discussion] Bitcointalk Community Awards on: October 18, 2022, 10:45:13 AM
➥ We need to discuss how sending merit affects voting.

This point must really be analyzed, and all the rules must be defined before voting begins.
And I have some ideas/suggestions, I'll keep an eye out when the debate starts.

maybe theymos could turn off the +merit link in a specific thread, thus would exclude the possibility of giving merit for voting posts. but again there is no guarantee that the merit for the vote will not be compensated through another post.
certainly, even if the voting were completely secret, it will not prevent possible abuse and secret deals. it will only be harder to expose them.
2798  Economy / Services / Re: Searching for IT designers/programers on: October 18, 2022, 09:09:59 AM
I am still looking for someone to make this website.
If you can do it and accept payment AFTER the website is done, please contact me.

The member cruso aka James Cross? Stopped replying after he got fronted money for the job, so i guess i got scamed..?
Therefor i will not pay a single penny upfront, if you still OK with my terms, feel fre to contact me!

**Maight be that cruso have some personal issues and is not a scammer but he stopped reply my mails efter he got the last payment, before that he replied everyday, Any one in closer contact with him and know the situation?

I'm really sorry to hear this. I suggest you open a new topic in Scam Accusations and present all the facts, a screenshot of your conversation, tx link, etc... So you will help other members to recognize scammers, of course, if there was no intention to defraud, that will push him to give some answers.

I don't know what amount it is, but my recommendation is that you always use the escrow service when you trade with unknown people.
2799  Other / Meta / Re: Interface of the forum, CSS messed up? on: October 17, 2022, 08:19:17 PM
The problem still exists. I can do things but it's just annoying. I changed my internet connection an hour ago but there are nothing has changed. In the same browser every other websites are working fine except the forum.

Everything works normally for me. Different browsers, two different connections, also on desktop PC and mobile. There is no issue.

But you may have installed some additional extensions in the browser, or you were adding some of the add-ons that were made for this forum (like BPIP). maybe you changed the custom theme there.
2800  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to monetize a cryptocurrency website? on: October 17, 2022, 08:09:42 PM
Your website is just 49 days old https://whois.domaintools.com/cryptodev.tech you are still not recognized on the internet.
I suggest you first make an effort to promote the site and set up SEO as much as you can. build any metrics about your site, only after that, you can think about monetization.
You already got the answer, probably the best combination you can do is Adsense + affiliate and maybe can try direct sales of advertising space.
we are back to the beginning again, most ad services will ask that you have much more traffic in order to accept you at all. and the earnings themselves will be insignificant with only a few random visits to your site.

You should also avoid Google ads as they have a very strict policies and too many restrictions when it comes to crypto ads.

you thought something here. he wants to place an advertisement on the site, not advertise himself and his crypto business. all these "strict" google rules refer to the advertising of crypto products and not to advertising on a crypto website.
For example, I have approved an Adsense account and I can place their banners even on the faucet page (tested a few days ago) and they will be approved instantly.
