2781  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: 2 AVA4.1s Won! [2200 TH] CKPool (kano.is) from the cgminer devs [0.9% PPLNS] on: March 30, 2015, 11:46:19 PM
If they are complaining about anything since then, well since they have a custom proxy that may or may not implement stratum properly - who knows why else they might get disconnects?

We report when there are problems or ckpool restarts due to code changes/bug fixes here on the forum, and also on IRC.
We keep track of what is going on and post about it here so everyone knows.

I wonder if their complaints are vague and lack specific times?

This is what I think. A proxy svc that can't recover after a pool connx loss or restart. They are saying multiple times per day.

Recv'd 0.1BTC, you didn't have to , but thank you.

My offer still stands though in PM.  Wink
2783  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: 2 AVA4.1s Won! [2200 TH] CKPool (kano.is) from the cgminer devs [0.9% PPLNS] on: March 30, 2015, 09:36:06 PM
Yup. I hit the pool yesterday with 300TH.  Grin

So you grabbed at least 2 blocks and that 300th will earn for about 120 hours in a row.

You are like me you got some quick coins and now want 3 or 4 blocks as the 300th slides down but not off the list.

Yup. It shoudl at least pay for itself if things stay on course. IF it does, I'll be doing that more often.  Wink

On another note, I was renting hashes from betarigs.com and some have a problem with this pool. The admins on betarigs are telling me the pool is unstable/broken and is resetting the connections to the miners. I have no idea how or what that is, but my other miners I run personally run fine, so I don't think this is true. Kano, what do you think?
2784  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 18TH Package Price Check on: March 30, 2015, 06:32:48 PM
Is $8500 a good deal for both the buyer and seller?

18TH:

5-SP20
4-S5
2-Neptunes
10-Plat 1000w Server PSU w/ breakout boards and pci-e cables.

Should it be more? Less?

Not a good deal by far if you're the buyer.

Ex. The neptunes are junk so they don't count either. Cheesy

Still waiting to find out where you are shipping these units from.

He's shipping from PA, USA.

And people stop talking as soon as the prizes are claimed. I like how four of the replies are the same question. Gotta respect the honesty of the folks just in it for the .01 though.

Hey, I won't kick away the 0.1BTC but u know I'm always looking for more SP20's if the deal is right.  Grin

*PRobably fake offer anyways*.  Cool
2789  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 6 sp20's & 4 s3+ Models. on: March 29, 2015, 08:54:45 PM
Where are these shipping from?  Wink
2790  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] SOLD (Canada Only) on: March 28, 2015, 11:52:56 AM
Also some run better than others.

Out of the 8 I have now running, 3require about 0.1v more to get the same speed as the others, alas use more power and heat.

3 of them can under clock below 0.5 efficiency so they can hit higher speeds at lower wattages. I haven't tried full blast yet, but should hit 1650 with ease.
2791  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] S5 Antminers | $200 USD OBO on: March 28, 2015, 02:15:08 AM
I am looking to buy Antminer s5's. If you really need the money, you came to the right place.
I am looking for a ~120 day target ROI. Each S5 generates $3 USD per Day. That would be $90 USD per Month
However with electricity costs of $42.48 USD, I am looking at $47.52 USD per month profit.
47.52*4= 190 USD for 120 days.

I am offering $200 USD for each s5 Antminer, if you want to sell, you can contact me by PM.
Or if you have any miners, calculate to 10 Cent per kilowatt, if your price targets 120 day ROI or better, I'll consider buying
your miner.

Do consider I am taking no difficulty adjustments into this equation. In reality it take much longer.

Can I have some of the funny stuff you're smoking?  Cheesy  Wink

Cool. I'll have to check it out when it's done.
2793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: cryptoGlance [v2.0.2] :: Open-source, self-hosted, multi-rig monitoring tool! on: March 27, 2015, 02:38:21 PM

You can make the window smaller in the browser if you zoom out using the browser feature. (tested using Chrome)

But maybe what is needed is just a more concise view with less info.

Problem with that is, that it resizes all the browser Windows after you set it up unless you set it back. Pretty inconvenient. Also requires you to run the program/app and the browser window if on the same pc.

If you guys need help with testing let me know. I can help.
2794  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Spondoolies SP20E (Canada Only) on: March 27, 2015, 12:18:19 PM
This is a good deal people. Get on it.  Cool
2795  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: 2 AVA4.1s Won! [2200 TH] CKPool (kano.is) from the cgminer devs [0.9% PPLNS] on: March 27, 2015, 12:00:31 PM
Well that was a pretty big 393% Diff - lets hope for fewer of them in the future Smiley
That's the first block with the new payout addresses so if you didn't notice my comments before, the Payments page has links to both the old and new address.

Got a nice 12.23% one right after! Good job to thedreamer!
Good job indeed with 3.9THs!

Woohoo! My first. Right after some got rented and pulled off the pool. Lolol

I'm getting 3 more miners back on soon though. No worries.  Cheesy

Same here. Might as well Go Big.

Thanks for the images.

We do have a restriction on the width in which the grid mode will display, this is probably what you're referring to.

We'll take a look at how we can address this issue Smiley

Sounds good. Would be convenient to have open in a small window Like I showed in the mock-up just to glance at, without having to open it and take up the whole screen.
Like when watching stocks or tickers.  Smiley

Geebus. Going on 4days of 0 earnings.  Cry
2799  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: March 26, 2015, 06:49:51 PM
You can still get good deals on ebay if you keep looking and stay patient. Mot of them are not 200% over priced.

Also on here sometimes you can find a good deal from a member, just beware of people that act like aholes, usually are.  Grin

If you need an SP20, a member on here that I know is looking to move one with power supply at a great price. PM me and I'll
give you his username.

I have a bunch of SP20's and really like the system. Very efficient at 1.1GH/s speeds (Below 0.53), but able to kick it up to 1600 without problems
if you can (power and noise issues aside).

I just got one of my new S5's and even though it's smaller and lighter than the SP20, seems about 5-8% more efficient, it is LOuD. Also you c an not adjust the fan, which is a
negative IMO. With the SP20's I can run in my office at 5% fan speed @ 1100GH/s, 580-600watts and temps stay under 70C all across the board (Inside room temps).

2800  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: How to keep a power supply running connected to a PC and a Miner? on: March 26, 2015, 03:35:56 PM
The biggest outstanding question is- "What miner are you trying to power?" Why would it matter?- well simply put- Some of the newest spec PSU's on the market today DO HAVE the Ability to allow the PC to be OFF while still sending Power to Charge a USB Device. The available amperage is low, 2amps or less. I'm not aware of any Current Mining Hardware that can operate as a Stand Alone Miner with this power scheme.

Since most miners draw quite a bit more than that, I think that's a moot point. I've given up on doing this directly. I'll try it again as I have time through BIoS/Software instead.

It was more of an idea to see if there is a way to get a PC backup running if someone tells it to shut down more or less. The question with the Miner was just a bonus.
