2781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 06, 2021, 09:40:08 PM
In the list, I think Justin Brownlee will once again win the best import award. I saw some posts about the statement of Justin Brownlee that he is happy playing in the Philippines and he'll be glad if the PBA will make him their naturalized player so he can help the Philippines represent the country in international competition.
He already won as best import but the scenario right now is really different, there’s a lot of good imports for the upcoming conference so I’m not sure about this one. Having Brownlee on the PH team is a big help, if they plan to neutralized him hopefully the process will not take long since there’s an upcoming international events.
We will never know that they are good until they see them play, besides we haven't seen this kind of conference for a while so it could be a different experience now. But for me, I will still stick with my belief that Brownlee will get the best import award because he can produce good numbers and at the same time could make the team better judging in the past conference.

2783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 05, 2021, 09:51:22 PM
Therefore my pick is Hawks -1 at home.
It didn't go well, Utah Jazz smashed the home team hard. Lose this bet of mine.

Next bet now.

Game: Bucks vs Knicks.

I have the road team here betting the undermanned Bucks.

No Holiday, Middleton, and Lopez.. these are the starters they are missing, so I think Knicks has a huge chance here.

Therefore my pick is Knicks +4.5 and ML.

I tail you on this one, although it will be on the home court of the Bucks and they are coming from a win against Detroit, they are facing a good team here in NYK.

So yes, NYK will be at a advantage without the Bucks key players and I wouldn't be surprised if they can cover that spread to +5.5. But a ML will be a good bet already.

Line is -4 now, probably bettors are putting their money on the NYK as Bucks are clearly a different team when they are missing some of their starters. Middleton and Giannis has to be playing together for the team so they will be consistent, without one of them, it's hard to expect that they'll win against a good team.
2784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 05, 2021, 09:26:39 PM
Tonight it looks like we’ve got a doubleheader on ESPN. Bucks and the Knicks in the first game and then the Warriors and the Pelicans. Without Zion I don’t think the Pelicans have much of a shot, nor is that game one is want to watch. Similarly, the Bucks and Knicks aren’t 2 teams I get excited to watch. Curry has been on his game though, so maybe he’ll provide some entertainment.
Bucks would be missing some of their starters per report but let's see maybe one of them will play.

Injury update for the players.

Holiday (ankle) is expected to be listed as probable for Friday's matchup against the Knicks, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports.
Middleton, (out)

Lopez also out

Lopez (back) is out Friday against the Knicks.

As expected, Lopez's back issue continues to keep him out, and he wasn't able to practice Thursday. His next chance to play is Sunday against the Wizards.
2785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency must adapt in schools/colleges curriculum on: November 05, 2021, 09:01:09 PM
That's nice, but since these students are still learning, I don't think that these institutes are actually encouraging students to learn how to trade or do such activities at an early age but rather educating them early so that they have decent knowledge about crypto and how it works, then probably study a brief history on how even Bitcoin and cryptocurrency started from the bottom.

About being hacked, I think it's important for students to study about how to avoid getting hacked, learning the different attacks of hackers through the internet, it's mandatory for schools to teach that as technology and social media continues to rise, hackers will never stop, so this is an actual way on educating the students on how to take care of their accounts better.
Giving good education for young minds about cryptocurrency and how it works is a good thing to include in colleges curriculum knowing this will bring good future for them since digital technology continues to arise. But not literally that teachers should teach them how to trade successfully, maybe just an overview of a good trading can help students to sort it out in the future.

However, as technology arises, there are more scammers and hackers too have become visible and in order to stop this, then there should be no more fools to easily believe in what is too good to be true offers. If all people have become educated about this, then scamming may not be totally stop but it can be somehow lessen or minimized.
The anticipation of such a possible scenario, I guess that should be talked about and explained during their discussion. Being bold and close discussion towards crypto makes these young minds fully understand cryptocurrency and it helps to stop them from thinking negatively. And in fact, this is one reason why it should have to be taught and become a part of the curriculum for it will eliminate doubts and uncertainty. For they were clearly absurd the goodness and benefits of crypto, that could enlighten their mind and that also easier for them to teach others even their parents. Such a stepping stone to help spread information about crypto.
2786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 05, 2021, 12:40:34 PM

They have Davis and Westbrook, these two are high paid players and the main star of their previous team, so there's really no excuse, they have to understand that if they can't win against non playoffs team, how can they win against strong teams that are consistent in the playoffs?

They should know that to be defeated by the OKC two times, will make them prone to lose their spot in the playoffs. I mean, if they continue to give easy wins like that, they might find themselves struggling to get to the top 8 again. They need to sweep those easy teams and continue to gather wins as much as they can to hold their spot in the Top 5 in the Western Conference because if they continue to lose like that, we will see another Lakers Team again just like what we have seen the last season where they barely make it to the NBA playoffs.

Their next game is against the Portland TrailBlazers, it's Melo and Ariza's previous team, let's see if they'll be able to bounce back on the road. I'm sure Westbrook will never forget Lillard as Lillards' team beat Westbrook's team in the playoffs from a long 3 point shot of Lillard.

Not sure if Lebron will be back in their next game, but hopefully he will so they would not make excuses. lol
2787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: November 05, 2021, 11:43:01 AM
You can never tell that because Mike here is the old boxer and we don't know if his stamina is strong enough to last until the last round of the fight. Logan Paul may have no won a single fight yet, but he is well conditioned and he might not be easily taken down by an old Mike Tyson.

You are 1 out of 100 to say that lol. Do you really believe that in this exhibition match, Paul will stand a chance? Didn't you know that if it's on a real boxing match, Tyson will just easily pulverize Paul even how the condition that is? If you saw Tyson's preparation during his fight on his 1st exhibition match, you won't be able to say that.

The fight will be an exhibition match so expect a staged result.

I agree that this is a staged fight and the result will not be determined in the ring, but rather will be written by producers outside of it. But I would be interested to know at what age Tyson his chances would be obviously lower than Paul? 60 years? 65? With the condition that Paul is at the present age and does not age.

Tyson has not fought Paul yet, it's hard to just guess because Logan Paul is also well conditioned although he has not won a fight yet. We should not be too hype with the popularity of Tyson, remember, he is not young anymore and his power in boxing is probably gone.
2788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Still believe in coins or tokens that keep dropping in price? on: November 04, 2021, 02:53:50 PM
Some token micin market prices have been destroyed, I just bought Shiba 1200 Dollars a week ago.  I plan to hold it for the next year, do you think the price will be good again? What should I do, wait for the price to increase or wait another year?
You are investing in this project at the wrong time, probably it was during the line is going up and to tell you that you are buying at FOMO and have yourself fall into the trap. Your option is to wait until the rally is coming back but never expect that much as certainly we are not sure or/it never come back again. I hope you don't get mad but something you need to think what gonna be your exit plan when we can never see its sunrise again. I guess you have to decide to sell it. Well, if you have the guts to wait for it.
2789  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much would you like to see Bitcoin priced in 2022? on: November 04, 2021, 02:17:44 PM
Do you think Bitcoin will touch the 1 million milestone in 2022? I think Bitcoin will cross 80 thousand dollars in 2022. What do you think?
It is a wild guess and it remains like. But I guess, 2022 will might be showing a progressive market growth due to the possible huge market adoption. I just feel it now, and early next year will have a very good start until it ends.
Well, can't set aside the price correction, more often we still are seeing and experiencing some price deduction but this is not too worried about as this naturally occurs whether we like it or not. $100k is mostly likely to achieve next year.
2790  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking Profits on: November 03, 2021, 10:59:38 PM
To those people who had been saying that taking profits is easy when you are already into that condition then i would say that theyre lying. All of us did

really come to a point or experience on which we do really hesitate on doing so because we are still hoping for more which you do tolerate your greed

and this is where mistakes do happen whenever the price had corrected and those profits arent still realized then for sure you would really regret
in the end.
Exactly, nothing is easy moreover in trading.
So far, I am always experiencing such difficult trading in any kind of market condition.
But, at least, it still works and also gives me profits, but I can say that it is not easy. Analyzing the fundamentals and also technical analysis is not easy for me personally.
But I don't know if this is for professionals moreover for those who use a very great AI Bot for trading.
It can't be expressed how difficult it was when we don't try and most of us as struggling hard to make a profit too different from how these inexperienced traders are saying (especially signal groups). And that is why we should open our minds and never trust those people saying instant returns as it never happens in real trading.
And instead of thinking EASY, we should have to put extra time to learn more about trading for this sake or else, we will just fail in the end.
2791  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla make 1 billion profits from it Bitcoin holding on: November 01, 2021, 09:16:36 PM
As Bitcoin price relies on around $58,000 investors are already recording their profits and one among them is Tesla, a company own and operated by Elon Musk a popular cryptocurrency whale. The company bought 43,200 Bitcoins sometime in February 2021 have yielded a 65% that is 1 billion dollars profits at the present Bitcoin price.
So, I am guessing they are very lucky for not selling their Bitcoin. They were really at the brink of selling the bitcoins they bought in the market, but I don’t know why they changed their mind and didn’t sell it anymore.

Even on Twitter when Elon Musk started making some comments that made people believe that he is no longer interested in Bitcoin, there were lots of speculation going round that Tesla must have sold their Bitcoin and that would result in the market crashing at anytime. But at some point nobody talked about it anymore, even those that talked about it were not able to prove that they really sold their coins. Is good to realize that they never sold it.
Well, it was not sure if Elon Musk is telling the truth or not, or that he just want to divert the mind of the people to give no influence anymore. However, it wasn't believable as people have known already that Tesla company holds a huge chunk of Bitcoin, and Elon Musk is the author of such purchases.
Yes, indeed. If they decide to sell them all, it certainly affects and crashes the market price but we don't see it and it comes to our mind that they just hold it and we don't know why.
2792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum is going to reach $5k soon? on: November 01, 2021, 08:41:25 PM
In recent days I see a large amount of ETH being collected on exchanges, it looks like it is showing a big boom in the near term. Personally, I am looking at ETH from a very positive angle on price, if the current situation continues, $5000 will be very easy to break through.

Ethereum stays in a strong resistance within a market price range of $4k-$4.5k and looking at the market chart today the good days ahead are surely expected. From the current market value it's just a small difference from a $5000 predicted market value and I think this will be achievable within the year before it ends. So far Ethereum is one of the top performed token this year and I believe that it would still one of token worth it to invest with in future.
It can be hopeful as I was going to believe that this uptrend motion will continue until the end of this year or even early next year. It was just a few more pumps and we then reach the $5k and this comes possible if investors, especially the newcomers, are still able to hold their ETH during this Christmas season because most of the time, and in the previous records it dumps in the late December. This could have to change otherwise, we can't make it through.
2793  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did you learn to trade? Did you learn it in a hard way or?...... on: November 01, 2021, 08:02:44 PM
With the use of the internet, we can learn trading so easily but the problem is how to make deal with the market for its volatility and unpredictable trend. This makes trading become hard and so earning wasn't easy as many (outside) people think about it. Those who come in trading must have to prepare for the consequences of losing as surely it comes and everyone is going to experience this before they fully learn to trade.
A lot of trading promotions look encouraging and yet, it was and many had come. They feel comfortable learning due to the money mindset but as the losses come, it started to get in trouble and mostly they quit.
2794  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why did you miss Bitcoin? on: November 01, 2021, 02:42:56 PM
People who choose to skip Btcoin and suddenly the Bitcoin price spikes must be very disappointed and hope that time can be repeated. The problem of time and price is still the main thing coupled with unstable market conditions. Besides that, everyone's mindset is different, this is difficult to change because the first thing that comes to mind is biased and difficult to change because it has entered the planning section.
As they skip and ignore Bitcoin, I don't think that they have the right to get disappointed, it was their fault either.
Bitcoin is not for everyone, I think we know that and this is for the right person who thought and believe that investing in Bitcoin won't end frustration but glory. And those who come and trust Bitcoin will have their rewards, yet, it can't be instant but for sure there are huge benefits awaiting them. It can be sorry for them but can't force them to have trust on the very first day, realizations comes late.
2795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The rise of Axie Infinity on: November 01, 2021, 02:11:01 PM
Axie Infinity is a play-to-earn game in crypto. This shows that the game industry has now begun to be integrated into the cryptocurrency industry. As of August 2021, Axie Infinity is the number one Ethereum-based decentralized app (DApp) game by volume. This online game is also one of the most popular DApp games based on the number of users.
With this pandemic crisis, a lot of people got the interest to earn money only and they had found Axie game a way to earn money will enjoy themselves playing. Even not gamers, they got also encouraged to join, some make it good and earn money while some got scammed and lose everything.
If it is going to happen that this Axie Infinity won't game any to their users and players, I don't know where it goes. It's likely the same as the other NFT platforms that become dead and besides, only the NFT gaming platform had able to survive while the major projects have been gone already.
2796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: November 01, 2021, 07:30:46 AM
With the pandemic happening for over a year, going back to good and high numbers of the audience is not possible yet.

I think it's only a problem in the Philippines, but in the US they are already allowed to go to mass gatherings due to their high vaccination rate and people are not afraid anymore of the virus. So this fight could still make money from the audience but let us not expect too much as the pot on this fight is very small, which makes me think that it's not a popular fight.

If we saw the Sultan vs Caraballo fight, you can tell that they have the crowd needed already, so most likely this fight will have the crowd that is enough on their expectation. Don't worry it will be a successful fight where the boxers and the promoters will make money, but not the money that every boxer desired as the pot is very small and Casimero has no choice but to take it since it's a mandatory fight.

Is there any information that tells how much both make in this fight?

I mean, we can definitely measure where the revenue is coming if there's a full report, if there's none, then we won't be able to know if there's enough crowd that makes the fight earn good money because it's just pure speculation based on what we see, and of course we can't the audience.
2797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 01, 2021, 04:51:11 AM

Therefore my pick is Jazz -1.5

Another hit bro, congratulations, you are hot so far.

Bucks were not the same team, they badly miss the service of Brook Lopez, and Middleton did not play as well.
I'm glad that Utah Jazz is back winning again, maybe they'll continue this streak like they did at the start of the season.

If you got a special bet for Jazz winning 11+ points, that could have hit too.
2798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 01, 2021, 04:27:56 AM
People really going nuts for lamarcus aldridge right now.  He's having a great season so far and just joined the 20K point club.  A great comeback after retiring due to an irregular heartbeat scare last year.  I'm seeing people saying if he wouldn't have retired then the Nets would have won last year, and I think that's a valid argument considering they were a 1/2 a Durant shoe size away from likely taking it home without him.  Maybe in the playoffs he'll be able to step up and fill the hole left by no dominant true center on the roster...  We'll see...

He's actually one of the more actively and consistent contributors on the Nets which is a big surprise... Kudos to him.

I would have thought honestly that his game was outdated and a bit slow but he actually looks a lot more agile than on the Spurs.

The year off must have been good for him physically and mentally. And honestly, he's healthy which is the most important thing above all else.

I have to admit, I'm one of the fans who underestimated Aldridge, I was thinking that he'll be limited and his production would go down, but no, I was wrong, look at him now, it's like we are seeing an old Aldridge that dominates, and his shooting percentage is almost perfect.

In their game against the Pistons, he made 16 points but from a 7 of 8 shooting, how consistent is that?
2799  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't lose your profit unnecessarily on: October 31, 2021, 11:21:56 PM
As newbie I have not bothered about the profit that I have missed taking out just because that I believe another profit will fill up for me. I have been on this for some time but with my growing knowledge in the trading business, I now seeing it differently that the profit I didn't take was gone and another profit that got filled is a different profit entirely which means I may have been made more of profit in the account and lesser losses. Lately therefore I take profit as it comes and this has worked for my trading experience. It is not scalping if you see your profit going down the pit.

What way do you take your profit ?

Or you feel the regained profit is same profit that you lost  Huh Roll Eyes
I have made a simple spreadsheet to track my profit on a monthly basis and I sorted them where it comes. But base on the data that I have, it has to notice that I spend more and lose more than making a profit. Like if I got a $500 profit, I also lost almost twice. That is why all of the profits I have is just a record as I spend them actually. I had thought that rolling my profit is a good idea, yes, it might but unfortunately, my trading journey wasn't good enough to keep them, I'd lose. But this become helpful to me and I can easily determine where I got wrong and which thing I have to change or going to improve.
2800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will shiba inu coin beat bitcoin ? on: October 31, 2021, 10:35:47 PM
will shiba inu coin beat bitcoin or eth ? will  it take a top 5 spot ?
Sorry, but this never gonna happen. We find good hope for the Shiba Inu project but to think of surpassing Bitcoin is an impossible and ambitious belief. I only foresee this project to belong on the top 10 and I think it was a huge achievement for them coz for too many projects existed, it was the real deal to have that position and the developers/team should be glad about that.
Shiba Inu supporters would have to push this but never as Bitcoin will remain on the #1 and it remains the most valuable coin in crypto space.
