2781  Economy / Services / Re: Lets make some money. on: March 25, 2020, 03:46:04 PM
im doing this for my biz , do you have a problem?
Yes, a very big problem. You don't spam the forum for your shady shitty business. You either post one thread or you don't at all, but you don't create spam.

Oh wait, did all your threads go wrong so you had to give it another try every time as if nothing's happened before? Shocked Incredible!
Archiving, for personal purposes. Smiley
2782  Economy / Services / Re: Lets make some money. on: March 25, 2020, 03:12:09 PM
Is it necessary to start four. fucking. threads. on here. for the same service you're offering?

I find it funny how if I give you $10k you'll take half of the profit but if you make me lose $1k I don't receive anything in return.. Cheesy
2783  Other / Off-topic / Re: Let's try to stop bad people, one try can safe someone on: March 25, 2020, 02:54:10 PM
I've done quite a bit of work about a month ago but I didn't have much time to continue. However, reading again through my older threads, I think I'm going to start another research on the forum to bust some scammers or spammers. Here is some of the work I've done:

It's pretty fun to do this and the positivity coming from some of the best members of the forum makes the work even more fun. Cheesy By the way, this is my first day as a Hero Member and most of the merit comes from my earlier work! So thanks to all the members who helped me out Smiley
2784  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Might've discovered one of the largest scam & spam here yet. Staff, take action? on: March 25, 2020, 02:44:37 PM
Bump!

The scam is still alive on this forum and action still has not been taken against the users..

Just found out that this guy is still claiming to receive money from the scams as if they're legit:

I received 2 more payouts from my yesterday investments.

With the current price of the Bitcoin i can that is very safe to make investments, since they probably are shorting crypto and making bank!
2785  Economy / Economics / Re: CoronaVirus USA - Open by easter? on: March 25, 2020, 11:50:51 AM
Truly depends on how events unfold. If US will continue with the decreasing death/total cases ratio, then plugging back in the economy could be okay. They're slightly above 1% death rate as of now, compared to Italy which has it close to 10%.

If we don't test at all, this could turn into a legit bloodbath. But if we only test patients who have symptoms or those who go to the hospital, we'll get an unreal death rate. Therefore, the best thing we can do is test as many people as possible because if we test an entire country and 1M people are infected out of which only a few thousands have died, the numbers will change significantly..
2786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: AIR DROPS ! wasting time or not? on: March 25, 2020, 10:46:03 AM
I've joined about 30 airdrops completely out of curiosity. Half an year later, I have not received a single coin through my ETH address. Therefore, considering I spent hours and hours trying to see whether it's going to be worth it or not, it's completely time-wasting.

You can do some work and get paid in crypto. Way more worth it on the long term.
2787  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Random wallet.dat files on USB stick on: March 25, 2020, 10:18:17 AM
I personally cannot help because I lack the necessary knowledge, but this may help you out: https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/19589/how-to-determine-what-type-of-coins-a-wallet-dat-contains

I believe you need Linux to run pywallet though. I'd rather run it on an offline Live Linux CD to minimize risks.
2788  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Ledger Live fake Chrome extensions on: March 25, 2020, 09:38:13 AM
They probably don't give a F cause they get revenue by selling ads, one should never click on ads anyway.

They would give a fuck if it was about other type of scams but crypto. They made these ads look so similar to the search results I sometimes click on the ads instead of the results without willing to, but now I've moved away from Google. Fuck them, if they don't want to take action against crypto scams and they'd rather help the scammers make other new victims then I'd rather not use their services. Feels safer to use DuckDuckGo and completely free (as in freedom) software on your computer anyway.
2789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another crypto ban again? on: March 25, 2020, 09:32:35 AM
Because everyone is complaining about OP's article, here is another one... https://cointelegraph.com/news/russias-central-bank-seeks-to-ban-crypto-issuance-and-circulation

I'm not even 1% surprised about it and I wouldn't be surprised at all if other countries followed. We all know what govs think about us using Bitcoin Cheesy However, apparently you cannot trade or make transactions but you are legally allowed to hold your cryptocurrencies without using them.
2790  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and illegal activities on: March 24, 2020, 11:18:09 PM
Take the USD for a second and imagine it was 100% transparent and anyone could fully analyze anyone's wallet. How much USD and fiat overall do you think is used in illegal activities? I'll tell you it's a ton of money and fiat is still alive and doing well overall (ignoring the pandemic and economical downfall).

Same goes for jewelry and precious metals. You can't really compare how BTC is used for illicit activity with fiat because fiat doesn't have an entire damn history of where every single penny has been. This "BTC is used by criminals" shit is old and utter bullshit. Anything is used by criminals and they'll never cease to exist.
2791  Economy / Speculation / Re: COVID-19 Increased Bitcoin Adoption on: March 24, 2020, 09:17:30 PM
But do you think this adoption will continue/stay at the same level once the quarantine and all these anti-pandemic measures will be lifted? Because I think it's just a temporary thing. Steam, the most popular gaming platform, has had an ATH of sales a few weeks ago. Internet stuff is going to boom during the quarantine and the more countries are put under quarantine, the more Bitcoin will be used as it's an Internet-related asset.

If these measures will be lifted and everyone will try going back to the old life then I, for example, will probably spend less time on the BitcoinTalk forum. This will lead to a smaller percentage of active users and a smaller hour-per-day stat for my account. Although the forum has a period of prosperity, once you go back to the life you used to have before, the forum will go back to what it was before most likely too.
2792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: The trouble! I need some help / Advice!!! on: March 24, 2020, 08:40:34 PM
I would recommend you to make sure you don't give away that identifier again. If you have a good password for your wallet, you should be fine though.

Another personal suggestion is for you to move away from the Blockchain wallet to an open-source trustless wallet like Electrum. If Blockchain ever closes (or if the Internet would somehow shut down), you may never have access to your wallets again. "Not your keys, not your BTC"! And Blockchain never lets you get the private keys.

Even if they would, there's a possibility they own your private key which means, again, that you are not the only one having access to your funds.

Regarding your request to share a well known exchange, I will give you one but, again, using a non-peer2peer exchange comes with risks. Hence, knowing there have been exchanges going through exit scams and hacks, you never know when the exchange you are using may be a victim of one too.

Here's what I personally recommend:
  • Use peer to peer, decentralized exchanges as much as you can. Some I have used a lot are BisQ and Atomic DEX (this is only available on your mobile) to prevent the risks centralized exchanges come with.
  • If you're willing to use a centralized exchange, I have personally not used any in years but Binance is well known and pretty trusted by our community. However, try to keep your money off the exchange if you don't plan to do trades. This lowers the risk of fund losses.
  • If you are against KYC, then make sure the exchanges and/or services you are going to use do not have KYC policies. If they do and you are against this policy, you may become the next victim of the coins legally stolen by exchanges abusing the KYC policy. I really don't want to scare you or anything, I just want to prevent you from going through the negative experiences I have gone through in my last 7 years.
  • If you plan to make transactions often and are moving/holding larger funds, I recommend you to buy a Ledger or a Trezor. They're like a vault for your coins and they will make you feel way safer.
2793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: The trouble! I need some help / Advice!!! on: March 24, 2020, 07:13:22 PM
As long as it's a Bitcoin address, you will be fine. Nobody should ask for your wallet identifier or any kind of password because that's how they get access to your wallet where all your coins are stored.

One thing you should never give no matter what is any of your private keys. Giving that to someone means granting them access to your funds.

Did someone ask you for the wallet identifier or exchange wallet?
2794  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: The trouble! I need some help / Advice!!! on: March 24, 2020, 06:38:27 PM
I agree with you: if what you just said is 100% true, then the information they gave you is too vague. If the T&C were breached, they should've notified you and I'm sure that doesn't let them grant ownership to your funds.

I've personally had a shit experience with Blockchain too, although I have transferred dozens of BTC through their wallets. This is a very shitty time to have legal problems with a company.. If they are giving you 0 information about the exact terms you have breached, then I really cannot find something wrong you've done according solely on the post above.

Have you used VPN? Or was there anything else you remember you have done on their website? Maybe they flagged your account, but that still makes no sense. Nobody should have ownership of your money. Have a problem with me? Let the cops seize my money. What they're doing is legally illegal...
2795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 10 alts under $0.10 that can go 100x on: March 24, 2020, 05:58:31 PM
Hoping for x100 anytime soon or more is like a mirage. So it's better to hope for smaller profit in a short time. And it's better to trade top coins that recover faster than getting hooked with some coins that can take a long time .
A top 100 altcoin doesn't have immunity to crashes nor does it make it impossible to fail. There have been a few OG altcoins that are now buried in the list of thousands of shitcoins. Not that they have necessarily failed as a project or scammed their investors, but people have lost interest in them.

The OP most likely wants a long term profit of 100x but probably missed the fact that most coins have gone 50-100x up in the altcoin market craze timeframe. Of course, some get pumped more than others but you'd have profit with pretty much any coin you'd invest into if the entire market goes wild. Worst thing is, unless you sell at the right time, it could easily turn into a loss.. like all my trades from 2018 Smiley
2796  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Wales what it is / who are they? on: March 24, 2020, 04:41:05 PM
I doubt. Even way before the term globalization was coined, wealth inequality was already there. I don't think wealth inequality only came out at the advent of globalization. I would even think that it was already there right from the very beginning of human race. Globalization made it much worse, of course. Therefore, removing globalization from the face of the earth, the problem of wealth inequality will still persist. It may not even be a problem at all because it seems it does not have any solution.

Wrong words used. Meant to say the wealth inequality would decrease if deglobalization happens. Inequality will obviously continue to exist.. Corporations would have way less power, though, than they've had in the past few years.
2797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Covid-19 Question on: March 24, 2020, 01:41:46 PM
Yes, if we look at what is done by every government in all countries, then gradually everything will be fine, it's just that it takes a lot of time in handling this Covid-19, because every day there is always someone who died from the virus. , and every day there is always something monitored by the medical authorities and the authorities, so be patient and always monitor the situation of the crypto market.
Nothing will be fine. The economy is demolished so we'll be affected from literally all sides. Some countries still did not take the necessary measures at the right time so it's gonna be worse in some countries than in others.

This is something that lasts years, not weeks or months, and will affect every single one of us.

Cryptos will be going through some very volatile times. They are very affected, just like all the other assets. Welcome to the crisis and the ultimate test of cryptocurrencies Smiley
2798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Use case ideas vs blockchain on: March 24, 2020, 01:09:13 PM
I've seen even the Blockchain devs focused right now on the developing pandemic so don't expect many new ideas to pop up this year. Saving lives is more important than developing a Blockchain idea which can be continued at any time.

But even if we wouldn't have had the pandemic, I guess the main point that the ideas are starting to be repetitive is somewhat valid. But hey, restaurants have existed for hundreds of years and yet owning a restaurant or investing in one is still exciting. The key thing here, in the blockchain world, is making things better. If you take a look at Bitcoin, it did have some great and large updates in the past decade but it hasn't really changed much. However, I'm still as excited to use and own it as I was 7 years ago!

New ideas cannot pop and be developed every day. I'm entirely sure there are some genius projects out there being developed that haven't been publicized yet. Give the Blockchain world some time and something innovative will pop up for sure. We have enough smart devs to make me believe it. Smiley
2799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Wales what it is / who are they? on: March 24, 2020, 12:09:53 AM
Wealth inequality will most likely never cease to exist unless deglobalization happens (which is what the COVID-19 case apparently does right now, but I guess we'll get back into globalization as soon as the pandemic ends).

The Bitcoin wealth inequality is still low compared to the world. IIRC, somewhere around 10% of the adults hold +85% of the world's wealth. Moreover, while the largest corporations are actively moving their assets and funds, millions of BTC haven't been moved in years. In fact, millions of BTC are now known to be lost in the void..

Don't worry, we have whales in all our stock markets - even in the commodities. Prices are sometimes pushed/pulled to the advantage of massive corporations and/or billionaires, just like massive movements of BTC by whales occur to their own advantage. The weak hands take action depending on their moves so your money goes into their wallets.
2800  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of fraud crypto analysts! on: March 23, 2020, 03:58:37 PM
There are bunch of funny people these days and Photoshop is helping them do the work they are doing, which is deceiving people lol. Everyone these days has to be very careful, cause most of the so called influencers are so fake and not worth following.

I have even unfollowed all of them on Twitter when I got to discover this, all they mainly do is just lie and create wild speculations and deceive their followers. I am just tired of it and this time around I just do my research by myself and when I can’t do it I just relax and take whatever I see. No time meehn Shocked.

You don't even need Photoshop skills. Trade history can easily be manipulated by pushing F12 on a Chrome tab and editing some text.

I usually take a trader with a grain of salt whenever they start talking about how professional and profitable their work is. I know only a handful of legit traders that have correctly predicted a ton of stuff; the rest is usually just out there to promote their books, courses or whatever else. Meanwhile, some of the best traders give free advise and signals through social media. Hard to mistake one for the other.
