2781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers that don't understand basic gambling concepts. on: January 01, 2023, 10:58:19 AM
For some time now I have seen in this section of the forum a not small percentage of gamblers who do not understand basic statistical concepts of mathematics applied to gambling, such as Return to Player or Expected Value. As a result, it is not surprising that every now and then we see someone who thinks he has found a good system to win casino games by applying some variant of the Martingale. This is despite the fact that these are not complicated concepts and the information is easily accessible to everyone, it is not like 30 years ago. I would say that at least 25% of the people who write in this section fall into this category.
A friend hated me for telling him that all variations of martingale are useless, he just wants to play the martingale for fun even if he was losing he still hopes that in one of his sessions he will hit the jackpot and because of what I told him his belief was busted
some people do not want any statistics they just want to play based on what they believe in and what comes to their mind, that is why online casino businesses are booming because many players don't care about theories and statistics they just bet on their so-called methods and beliefs.

2782  Economy / Gambling / Re: JupiterRising.xyz | MASSIVE Amount of Games!! on: January 01, 2023, 08:38:14 AM
find investors. gamblers need to know that the gambling site they are going to gamble at can pay them if they win a sizable amount of moeny, the gamblers knowing that they can only withdraw once a day and need to wait 3 days if the withdrawal is above $250 because you don't have enough funds is concerning and would most likely make them avoid your site.

Honestly where is a good place to start? Or the best way to start crowdfunding?

I do not have a team, I am doing all of this completely on my own.

In the first place, How do you end up creating an online casino have you done a feasibility study, is it because of profit, for experiment purposes to gain experience on how it is to own a casino, is this your first project, I like your honesty but running a casino is a serious business and the gambling community is not a place to experiment, you'll easily get busted and what if someone won a huge amount and you cannot pay the winning, better think twice if you will proceed with this.
Better start as a gambling reviewer to have a grasp on how a gambling platform works.

I'm on an offshore server in a country that won't shut my servers down if the United States attempt to do a federal inditement.

I've been in the industry for almost 10 years, just never as an operator or developer.

Ten years? But you missed the part that a casino should have large funding for their operation, and you never launch a casino if it is not yet prepared to launch and you know that a casino is not a one-man operation and you need a support team because this is a 24-hour operation and everything is done automated you need people to oversee the operation is working smoothly, ten years is enough to have a grasp that casinos are funded, and with a team and it should be competitive, but like all the others here I like your honesty.
2783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Free crypto possible ? Or impossible? on: January 01, 2023, 05:47:22 AM
So is there any Free crypto coins tokens ?
Yes but you have to work for it it comes in the form of a bounty campaign where you promote the project in your social media accounts and report it to their bounty thread, but not all of these tokens are worth working for, some of them ended up like shitcoin.

Quote
Like Youtube is full of videos but non of them brought to me Free crypto.
Why would they give you free Crypto when you also benefit from their platform, if you want to get something on Youtube you have to create a channel to show good stuff and monetize it.

Quote
Can any legit old member enlight us here from where we get the Free crypto.
We have try faucets but it's waste of time.
Bounty and offering services to legit projects are the most common ways to get free Crypto, faucets are still good but yes you need patience and a big number of referrals to earn.

2784  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [BEWARE SCAM] Rollbit STOLE MY EARNINGS claiming market manipulation on: January 01, 2023, 12:58:27 AM
I re-uploaded the images for us to see the whole conversation, this market manipulation is something new to me and I guess to many players here how is it possible, and how it really works have read a lot of cheating done by players but this one is new, I hope Rollbit can explain further on what they are accusing OP.
I understand that they cannot post everything to protect the platform's integrity or how their system to caught bad players but at least a hint as to how this manipulation works.

2785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: (Boxing) Kazuto Ioka vs Joshua Boxing Match Begins 31 December 2022 on: January 01, 2023, 12:18:44 AM
Lost my bet on this fight as the result was a majority draw, the scores were 115-113 for Franco while the other two judges give a typical 114-114 score.

Have not watched the fight live, only the highlights but seeing the comments that Franco was robbed, i think they have some reason to cry because Japan is known for its hometown decision (at least for me). If you want to win in Japan, you need to KO your opponent.

I checked the highlight of the fight and the fight may be too close but there was some point that Franco is dominating Ioka it was Franco who was strong with more jabs and Ioka relied on counterpunches, the fight was too close but I have Franco winning based on my observation, this is the kind of fight where no boxers totally dominated the fight, not to disappoint the crowd because its a championship they score it a draw, but yes it's hard to fight in Japan you must totally dominate your Japanese opponent like what Nietes did or knock out your opponent.
2786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Fools Gold on: December 31, 2022, 04:38:03 PM

Now that we are even in a bear market, any projects offering high yield is a big red flag, this is not the time to focus on earning rewards.
I don't think so, it's on the platform and the community support I invested in two casino-based tokens with APY as high as 35% and the two tokens are doing good, we should not generalize even in the bear market there are exceptions to the rules that altcoins with high APY are bad to invest, these two tokens were doing great in the bull run and they retain their momentum when the trend shifted to bear market.
We should check the platform, community support, and reputation of the team, and still be wary of new tokens with high APY without a platform that has usability and can serve the community.
2787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cashless Gambling, your thought? on: December 31, 2022, 12:12:52 PM

So what do you think about this cashless gambling, is this another breakthrough of the gambling industry or just a way of the government to track their citizen and earn from the gambling establishment.

It's not good for business if the government is snooping or interfering in its operation and the clients will not trust the platform if there is interference that will endanger their vital information, cashless gambling is good because it's fast, easy and the integration of Cryptocurrency in the gambling industry it gives the players the peace of mind because transactions are transparent, and if there are no violations of the account, the player's account is anonymous.
It's actually a breakthrough for the gambling industry the integration of Cryptocurrency.
2788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling For Fun - What Does This Mean To You? on: December 31, 2022, 09:52:14 AM
When we say gambling we have a chance to make money the word here is chance not forcing your way to make money, chance is you bet you hope and when it did not go in your favor you accept and don't chase your losses, forcing your way to win is you employ a strategy in order to beat the house and using money more than you can afford to lose in the belief that large bankroll means a chance to win, chance is you know when to stop and how to stop at the right time.
When you believe that winning in gambling is a chance then it eases up the pressure of giving more time and money, that is how I define gambling, no pressure at all.
2789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gervonta Davis VS Hector Luis Garcia SAT, JAN 07, 2023 on: December 30, 2022, 10:49:00 PM
We will see, because we really don't know who is telling the truth in this case, but probably the lessons here for Tank is just to surround himself with good people and not those who wants to take advantage of him, and now he will be dragged in this court case wherein he should be enjoying his holiday and then looking for a fight against Hector Garcia first week of January, not it seems to be in jeopardy including his fight with Ryan Garcia.

This is going to be a test of character for Gervonta Davis, its not easy to go in a fight with this kind of issue, if he decides to go with the fight or circumstances let him continue to fight, this is really bad timing only a few days before the fight, although Hector is really not that dangerous, having uncertainty running in your mind will get you out of focus, if the fight will push through I hope Tank dispose Hector Garcia and fix this issue, he should name the people behind his post with the intention to ruin his career.

That will be a distraction, as much as possible, we would like to see a focus Tank Davis so we will guarantee his win. Against Hector Luis Garcia who is not an easy opponent, he cannot be complacent, he needs to be not only physically but mentally prepared as well. Forget about the fight with Ryan Garcia, he needs to focus on his upcoming fight first.

Right now there's no update if the fights would be canceled although Gervonta can opt to cancel the fight because of the issue he is having right now, the team should assess him if he is fit mentally to fight, of course, he is always physically fit to fight but boxing is also a mental game and you don't want a distraction as I said.

There are boxers who lose their fight and even their titles because of too many mental distractions it will always play in your mind even in the middle of the fight.
2790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Interesting events in 2022 on the crypto market on: December 30, 2022, 03:58:38 PM

Event which has the biggest impact? I guess that was the downfall of terra because that was also the time wherein sources of profit in forms of p2e and nfts, also started to struggle. After that, we've seen more projects which had problems prolonging their platform in this industry  But I am not trying to blame everything from what he's done. The market is just that uncertain and many things could take place in an instant for both positice and negative situations. Maybe, it is a factor that many projects became alarming to the investors, which yield to low overall activity in this industry. Whether it would be able to recover or not, depends solely with the things which would take place for next year.

I agree and I thought that was the last bad news that we are going to have before the end of 2022 until the FTX scandal happened with over 5 million users losing their funds and the bad domino effect that happened, I consider 2022 as one of the worse years we have, if not for the good foundation and the strong belief of the early adopters the industry is still safe.

The only circumstances that we are going to crumble are if the blockchain concept can be destroyed or manipulated, it's the centralized entities that are wrong here not the blockchain concept.

I obviously had account history and interaction with their site.  I could understand if they were to freeze an account and deny access.  But it's obvious that my account was deleted and covered up.  They messed up though and made a typo in the username.

So far you are good with this pieces of evidence, why delete your account when there is an option to freeze so they are ready to pull up OP's history of betting, OP is ready and made screenshots of everything before the account was deleted, I doubt if they will agree to restore a backup because it will harm the platform operation, do Macaw_casino have their own evidence of their claim of manipulation, besides the own screenshot you have to explain how the manipulation happens with a video if possible, and where is the screenshot of abusive languages, you have to post it, if you lie about the abusive languages, you lie in everything that you will post here.
2792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi network mining on: December 30, 2022, 12:51:45 PM
Not to make a FUD, but their shilling method is what makes me (personally) unsure about this project. FYI, they have online marketplace that operates in Indonesia, with the domain https://pimarket.id/, it is very clear this is an illegal operation, because they use PI as payment on their platform. As I mentioned, using other than Rupiah (IDR) for buying anything is illegal in Indonesia. so, at any time the market service is likely to be taken down in Indonesia and the real FUD may come for this project.
They already made a statement and clear that they are not the one who initiated the listing and its different on their own Pi network, so I don't think if this is just their shilling strategy to make another hype with the project or those exchanges really don't care about what is real or not and they just want to attract users on their platform because of this listing. I'm not familiar that much about Pi network, I just heard this before and got no interest about this, there's still a risk here so be careful.
my guess is, this is done by the team itself. however, their coin-holding community has grown large. but most of the coins are still locked. this is just an effort by the team to make the community have high expectations of what they have done.
after the news of PI being traded, now many people are looking on social media to buy PI. isn't that a successful strategy by project developers? but I'm not sure it will last long.

That's possible this is a dubious project, for five years they have been manipulating their members into believing that cloud mining through phones can be a long-term legit project and its safe to do KYC in a centralized platform, I left this project after they monetize their platform by showing ads imagine with millions of people using the platform that's huge money and now they are dumping their token to gullible people into thinking that their shit token will be listed after almost five years.
I feel sorry to these people who failed to see that this is a scam project.
2793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Attributing wins or loses during gambling/betting to Ego or Simply Intuition. on: December 30, 2022, 03:23:18 AM

We may have been taught several times how to distinguish the intuitive voice from the voice of your ego. Although, it requires a lot of practice and patience to be able to tell their differences apart.
Well, it's interesting if you can communicate with your subconscious and ask them what bet will win but its too risky because our subconscious is the part of the mind where it controls our involuntary and voluntary movements imagine if you teach it how to gamble, it will overtake all our thinking and movements making us obsess to gambling.

Quote
In trying to relate this to gambling/betting, am more or less interested in, how does your feeling/emotions affect your wins or losses when making a bet or during gambling?

Do you care to know if the bet made was attributed to your feelings of ego or you simply followed your intuition?
It never comes to a point that I need to analyze my overall feeling about gambling all I know is I bet and whatever the outcome I just accept it as it is so I can still enjoy the other things that It is important to me.
2794  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any Lottery players here? Pick 2, Cash 3, Cash 4, Pick 5 numbers in particular. on: December 29, 2022, 03:06:48 PM
I was in the NBA forum and the subject of lottery numbers came up and I didn't want to hijack that forum and didn't see anything lottery related. The discussion came up that numbers are random and there isn't anyway to improve your chances to win and I disagreed.  I believe you can study historical data, patterns and certain numbers follow and hit after certain numbers come out as winners.   I would love to discuss theory with anyone who understands this and have any theories of their own.

Do you have data that can validate your belief, if you cannot back it up with proven data don't recommend but if you want to prove it yourself, then do make a study out of it, but I assure you there's no proven data that can prove that you can accurately predict the winning numbers, you could be wasting your time, but proceed at your own will, maybe you will discover along the way, if the drawing is fair and beyond reasonable doubts, everything is random and all numbers gave an equal chance of getting drawn, here in our country all balls that with numbers on it for the drawing are weighted and there are observant to see everything is done fair.

2796  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do you think that there will ever be an effort to boycott centralized exchanges? on: December 28, 2022, 11:20:28 PM

Do you think an effective boycott campaign against CEXs could happen? What do you think would be needed to do so, other than the manpower? Or do you think that the tentacles have wrapped themselves too far around the industry?

There's no news about that on mainstream media and in the Cryptocurrency community there are no moves to do that, but strongly advise everyone to not store their coins on exchanges and not your key, not your coins, how can we do that we are relying on Centralized exchange to trade our coins when there's a little complication on using a decentralized exchanges
The investing community is so used to using the banking system that they carry this in trading in Cryptocurrency, they want third parties to take care of everything.
2797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Responsible gambling on: December 28, 2022, 10:29:49 PM

For me this has been working for quite some time and it was a way I found to prevent me from throwing money that I need away.
Any of you guys uses the responsible gambling feature? If so, what do you think about it? Is it helpful or does it only gives you a sense of control

It's good that you are aware of your being a compulsive gambler and have taken a step to prevent yourself from getting worse others will just ignore it and deny that they are a compulsive gambler when they are spending more than they can, I don't have it yet it's not yet time I can still manage, I've been through a lot and my resolution to think about my losses in the past are the ones that are helping me control my urge to spend more than I can spend.
Those with bad habits of spending a lot should not be shy to have it, it will not make you a weak person by having it.
2798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the motives that drive you to gamble? on: December 28, 2022, 09:58:12 PM
I do not know about you guys, but I gamble because I like it and because it is a hobby as well as an addiction. I'm good with myself, as I already admitted to having an addiction but tried to find and apply techniques to avoid getting off track and spending all of my money on gambling. It's quite easy for me to control my gambling anxiety as I already follow strict rules that help me stay on the line.

What about you guys? Do you have any addiction to gambling? What drives you to gamble? Is it the long shot of having a big profit coming in or is gambling simply a way of spending time for you?

It has become a habit because of the excitement I'm getting from playing online casinos once you tasted the highs and lows of it you'll get hooked and it will become part of your system, I did manage how to control money spending in casinos which is good the motives is not only to make money if there's an opportunity to make, but more on a habit and excitement, you will not spend time on something that you are not attached to it, and you always looking forward to having time on it.

This might be a trap to any victims here in the forum, new gambling showing this kind of of promotion, very
dangerous to connect the wallet of each member here in the forum to this platform actually.
Yeah, I opened it and I got a prompt to connect to my Metamask I never do this on any platform except when trading on DEXes, much more on a new gambling platform that's barely a day old.

Quote
Probably Op is thinking that "No deposit" is a good attraction to all gamblers here, but in reality
it was very suspicious anyway, and no one is attract with it honestly speaking.
No deposit sounds good but connecting my wallet is not, there's no TOS or anything only rules on how to play and connect your wallet, which looks suspicious to me.
2800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Are You Preparing For 2023? on: December 28, 2022, 02:51:52 PM
We all know that 2022 has not been friendly to the cryptocurrency market, Bitcoin, being the top ranked lost over 60 percent from its all time high value.
Many altcoins have also lost more than half the value they had in 2021, the several occurrences in the cryptocurrency industry caused several bloodbath we experienced in most parts of the year 2022.
Was so optimistic about the market before the start of this year, but I never imagined it will end like this Bitcoin lost 60% of its value and my portfolio lost 70% of its value, but the two fiascos that happen this year are beyond our control, we're like a pawn here, how the whale's move will create an impact on our investment.

Quote
But I am optimistic concerning 2023, I foresee a major breakout for Bitcoin and several other top altcoins, and some new altcoins that are really promising..
It's really frustrating to start the year with all your portfolio down, but we have no choice but to be optimistic because we have seen the best and the worse the market has given us

Quote
And speaking of new altcoins, ive been investing in Renec in preparation for 2023, Renec blockchain is one of the best projects I've found so far, the project was fully launched in October 2022, since then, usage and activities on the Renec blockchain has been increasing day after after, it's one project I wouldn't want any body to miss, so I urge you all to check it, you can start your research by joining their community on discord - https://discord.gg/Vw9ykjAWGh
I trust you buddy will check it out I'm sure you've done your research here that is why you are on it.

So, how are you preparing for 2023, what or which altcoin are you buying in preparation for 2023?
I'll just continue to be optimistic I have no coins or tokens in mind but will be open-minded on what's to come.
