Some altcoins will never rise again so there is no need to hold them when you can sell and buy some major cryptocurrencies and have your funds in a safe place. Most of the projects in 2017 just succeeded because of the ICO and bitcoin bubble. Their devs have already taken their profits so there is no need to also keep holding them.

The same was anticipated last year and nothing happened. it is becoming that the price of bitcoin is driven by a force that no one knows. We cannot predict whether bitcoin will rise or not after the Chinese new year holidays. The only thing now that is encouraging me is the rate at which crypto is being adopted by some institutions and firms around the globe. If there is mass adoption, the price may rise because of the demand for bitcoin in daily activities like shopping and the likes.

Almost all of us are confused not even the experienced trader because we do not know whether we have bottomed yet. There are a lot of losses made already and many withdrew their monies very early who are not affected that much but it will be more hurting if those people don't learn well and join because the price is low. That is why everyone is waiting for the bear market to go away before they start coming in.

During bear markets, we may see the prices to be very low but it isn't easy to buy these low coin because our huge monies have also turned low so it is the same thing.
Let's say I had 1000$ worth of eth and now eth has decreased by 85%. Your 1000$ of eth won't be worth that again so you do not bother to buy new eth because you have lost a lot. This is what usually happens in the bear market. This is a good time for investors to get in but no good time for a hodler.

you may find it very easy to sell your coins because you may be much experienced than the one who just entered and bought crypto with the aim of getting x2 profit and only to see the coin dropping each and every day. I was someone who didn't like selling coins once I get them into my wallets but I have learnt from my mistakes and selling at the right time. I think people still need time to learn and know when to buy and sell. New members don't get affected by the current price of a crypto coin because they have made no losses so sell and let more people come in to buy when the price decreases and also buy again when you see a positive time that the bulls are back.

This is incredible. How to withdraw our crypto at ATM centers and also use it at the POS centers remains a problem to the crypto world. I think crypto is growing now and every day. The increase in the number of ATM centers is a very good indicator of growth in crypto in general. I look for more of this.

The cheapest? If it is the cheapest you want then let me sell my sh** coins for you. I also understood your question as which promising coins are cheaper. If that is your question, then I will advise you to go for ripple, Stellar, tron and cardano. They look very promising but still cheap to fill your bag.

Ripple is backed by the ripple bank which may seem very good in people's eyes but there are a lot of crypto enthusiasts that do not support the idea behind ripple. Looking at this I will choose ADA over ripple. The reason is simple, in crypto, we follow the maltitude. Do not follow a coin do has got many red flags, it will surely dump one day.

If we really need a regulated ICO, then let's accept that ICOs should be abandoned and welcome STOs which are much more regulated than that of ICOs. ICOs are part of the long bear market we are experiencing at the moment. They stole most of the innocent man's money and they are now cashing out which is the effect we are seeing.

Generally, it is not a good practice to sell but with the current market, it is good to sell and buy when the market in general, starts seeing an increase otherwise you will hodl while everyone is selling. Some people are not affected by the fall in price of crypto because they have changed to a stable coin and will by all the potential coins when a bull run is triggered.

Bitcoin may pump up but it wouldn't be "like crazy" as mentioned by the OP. I am also in support of those who want a gentle growth. If bitcoin pumps like crazy, it means it will fall like crazy as well. All we have to do is to avoid those negative minded people who are always spreading fake news just to cause fear and panic in the market to ruin crypto.

The crypto industry has got one antagonist that is always spreading fake news and the person is Craig Wright. He has been one of the most influential and controversial persons in our crypto community. He is almost successful in dividing the bitcoin enthusiasts into two by telling people BTC isn't the real bitcoin, Lightning will never happen, and many others. This is a very serious case because those who cannot do their own research will believe him and panic sell which is always causing the negative market sentiment.

Both are potential coins but I will choose bitcoin over litecoin. Because is better known and trusted than that of litecoin and moreover, bitcoin's price has dropped now so there is a possibility that it will rise higher to the days of the $6K. Litecoin is not supported by many people in the crypto-space which makes it have a better position when being compared with a coin like bitcoin.

As far as there is a demand for crypto, it will last forever. Most of us here are okay with the way we use crypto. for instance, in the payment of goods and services online. There is no need for waiting to get your money deposited in your bank accounts after delivering your services. You just have to submit your crypto address and get paid into it instantly. Although there are payment gateways like paypal, crypto payment is worldwide.

I agree and that bitcoin is the coin that we should give the maximum respect in the cryptocurrency world in the sense that we have all seen and witnessed that bitcoin is the market changer. The whole market gets red when bitcoin market alone starts to destroy.   
The popularity alone makes it sit on the top forever and moreover, it is the coin that is mostly accepted by most of the payment gateways in the online purchasing systems.

I will not expect a bull run any time soon because the kind of panic in the crypto community and the mainstreams gives me the impression that people are not ready to invest in crypto any time near.
We all know that in crypto, people are making money at any point in time so people think some people, somewhere, are manipulating the market to their own benefit. Until this ideology is debunked, people may be scared to come in crypto again which makes it difficult for a possible bull run.

At this critical point, there is no need to sell your altcoins. The market has been very disappointing so I think holding is the best option because from what I I know, we sell when the market is booming. We sell at this time when the project is a clear scam but my coins have a working team.

Bitcoin is fully decentralized as compared to ripple. Many crypto enthusiasts love a decentralized system than a centralized one which ripple is at fault.
Bitcoin will always be the number 1 crypto because it is fully decentralized and the only crypto that has many people accepting it.
