Why are you selling your altcoins so soon?

Because people got enough profits or they have the feeling that it can drop more. We should learn about our mistakes and not just believe blindly other people words.

I here and see that a lot of people are selling their altcoins for this reason or for that reason. In some cases I here that people are even spending their altcoins to buy Bitcoin. Now that one really has me confused. To me it’s way to early to be selling your altcoins. It’s like selling an original painting before it even gains in value or while it is still gaining in value. What smart investor does that unless they are selling out of fear or because they are desperate. For me I am holding all of my coins for now because it is way to early to even think about selling your altcoins; what say you?

What i think is that most people that sell their altcoins now for whatever reason most probably fear is the top consideration. Some people want to cut loss by transferring their altcoins to bitcoin or fiat as they are not able to see the value in altcoins future whereas those keeper think the other way.

actually I don't want to sell altcoins so soon, but because of the need to push, I am forced to sell. all must have different reasons why sell altcoins so soon. if I, there is a sudden need, and in my opinion I have made a profit even a little, then I have to sell.

Some companies do not live for a long time and gradually close and you should not miss this moment to sell your tokens, and of course you need to wait for the best price and then sell your tokens, but everyone decides for himself.

Why sell at the bottom and get scanty money, if you can just forget about the coins for a while and maybe the wait will pay off completely

In some sense possibility can make it more profitable only if you hold good coins that have potential to make good movement after progress has been
done, but inside this market right now, people who will stay out right away and instead of waiting they will sell it out fearing that it won't gain anything
much quicker decisions and have  less stress after.

I have so many altcoins in my wallet, over 200 of them, but most are not in large volume. Some of them are yet to list on exchange, some of those that have listed do not have good price.
Those i am seriously holding, despite being sellable, are those with good potentials. These coins have got updates coming and the team are working hard to ensure better results.
I do not just hold any coin, i hold those with good substance.

When I joined crypto world I wanted to make investments for long term so I'm not going to sell my coins. Hovewer there are some coins that now are really poor and the risk that they will become "dead coins" is concrete, so in these cases I prefer to sell them with a huge loss..

Selling Altcoins in this kind of situation in the market is not really a good idea but definitely not a bad decision because we can't say if the person needs to sell his Altcoins for a personal use. But my holding currency in past months will still gonna stay in my wallet because I choose to invest in a long term currency earnings that my took a year to get a great amount of profit.

I agree with you, in my opinion it is too early to get rid of altcoins, they have much greater prospects for growth than bitcoin. 2017 has shown that with a bullish market, your altcoins can make you a millionaire. A good example in 2017 was the XRP token, which grew more than 300 times.

Generally, it is not a good practice to sell but with the current market, it is good to sell and buy when the market in general, starts seeing an increase otherwise you will hodl while everyone is selling. Some people are not affected by the fall in price of crypto because they have changed to a stable coin and will by all the potential coins when a bull run is triggered.

Been a victim of rush selling before at late 2017 and it was not good as i sold every tokens i got for less than 10 percent of what it value after a month.
Then i became wise (i thought) and keep the tokens i got from bounties and wait for it to rise in the market like X5.
Then! it is not what i expect, every token i got is falling in price.

It is very simple, because they are not investors. They're just bounty hunters and want to sell everything as soon as possible and they can't wait like everyone else

everyone has their own reasons when they want to sell their altcoins. but that depends on the level of thinking of a trader. New traders who are chilled are just luck, whatever the important way is not to lose and ignore the techniques that move well and correctly. Unlike the old traders, they must think carefully when they want to sell their assets, whether it is in accordance with what is expected or not.

That is the strategy, to cover the losses. If you now sell altcoin in fiat you are in a big loss, but if you sell your altcoin for Bitcoin, you probably still can be in a big profit if Bitcoin goes up  .

Selling of my altcoin at this bearish period is a no from me but you never can tell, people have different reasons why they sell their altcoin  and to me it's ok if that actually makes them happy

I think that is one pretty good strategy because besides bitcoin is a potential coin, they also buy bitcoin because they have reasons like there is news that bitcoin will pump and because of other things related to the increase in bitcoin prices
I think we have to follow the trend, if bitcoin tends to rise then we have to prioritize bitcoin, because not necessarily if we hold back then we will get profit after all we can buy it again after profit from bitcoin

For me to sell altcoin earlier is better, because I feel panic that the price will drop dramatically and many investors do dumps. I often see events like this. I don't want to repeat it again.

Most of those selling their altcoins right now fear that crypto might die so they have to sell early and cut down their loses. Am also holding all my altcoins during this bear market but I cant force another person to do same  since its a matter of choice.

the peak of sales was at the time of the fall of all the coins since people had a panic, now those who have kept their coins are waiting for growth
