281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Useless altcoins must remove from the whole crypto market on: October 19, 2019, 12:44:31 PM
Yea, that wont happen, but a global purge of those useless shitcoins would be more than welcomed. But hey, maybe those are bad for crypto optics as a whole, but at the end of the day, who cares if they exist, just stay far away from them and ignore them.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Build yourself a solid portfolio with good projects on: October 18, 2019, 07:14:49 AM
Indeed, right now with this shaky market sentiment and its growth of maturity, its the best option to stick to already established currencies which should represent lets say at least 80% of your portfolio's value, and with the other 20% you can gamble with less known projects that have high potential to grow.
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To bounty hunters & investors on: October 18, 2019, 07:08:52 AM
There is still possible to sniff out great projects that are holding an ICO or STO, so the OPs point here is a slight case of generalization, but you should definitely stay away from them for now if you are new to the crypto space as the chance of picking the "big" one is indeed quite low and if you are not well versed in doing thorough due diligence, that chance of picking the right one is even lower.
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WPP Energy tokens? on: October 17, 2019, 08:37:01 AM
I mean the price of their token is so low now, that we could potentially see a sharp 5x spikes as a consequence of some partnership announcements, but even that would not come even close to the price ranges of WPP token prices in their ICO. Ans I am as well interested to see how they will implement their switch to the stable coin concept, I dont have high hopes tbh.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My list of 5 Sleeping Giants of 2020 :) on: October 17, 2019, 08:31:29 AM
PNK (Kleros): Less than 2M marketcap and Vitalik shilled project: https://www.investinblockchain.com/vitalik-mentions-2-projects-on-ethereum-that-could-replace-human-verification/ Nice wp and excellent tokenconomics.

LIT (Lition): Less than 2M marketcap and partnership with SAP, just launched their mainnet and they are adding many use cases to their platform (last one with lawpilots). They are working as well with German financial and energetic companies.

FTM (Fantom): About 20M marketcap, potentially a top 20/15 in coinmarketcap. First DAG with smart contract platform. They will launch their mainnet shortly. Currently working with African financial institutions amongst many other partnerships.

Now here is a great contribution to this topic, not just sheer shilling in the vein of "great project, moon soon!", but backed up with some arguments. I am familiar with Fantom and Lition, but not with Kleros, so I am adding it to my list of "soon to do due diligence", thanks. I have a solid bag of Fantom already and looking at the Lition price action and its graph, it could be a solid entry point right now as well.
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit Exchanges, an end to good projects. on: October 16, 2019, 09:11:21 AM
Without any doubt projects that are listed on exchanges like Exmartes are already dead. Team members think that they can save money from token sale by listing their tokens on such exchanges, without even to understand that this is a fatal decision.

I dont think that teams behind such projects really care about the investors in their project or the price action of their tokens. Most of them have successfully or semi-successfully bagged a hefty amount of funds via ICOs and IEOs, so their "job" is done. So they are probably aware that listing on these low-tier exchanges is a suicide, but as I said before, they probably just dont care as their wallet has been filled already.
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Old good airdrops on: October 16, 2019, 09:04:37 AM
I am kinda surprised that so many folks are still caring about airdrops as they pretty much stopped being profitable more than a year ago. But I guess it could still be a decent hobby, instead of playing a lottery or something similar, as there are tiny chances that some useless airdrop will be worth quite a lot in the not so near future.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My list of 5 Sleeping Giants of 2020 :) on: October 16, 2019, 08:57:57 AM
Well, it depends on how do you define "sleeping giants". I guess ADA and BNB could be sleeping giants as well if they dominate the 2020 price growth and adoption, but most of the time when I hear this phrase I think about the projects that are out of the top 50 per MC or even out of the top 100. So my picks would be Hedera, Aion, Reserve, maybe Fantom and an obscure one 0chain.
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges that conduct IEOS You should stay away from ? on: October 15, 2019, 07:56:07 AM
So what is your solution? Stay away from basically every tier 1 exchange aka Binance, Huobi, Okex etc.? That is silly, IEO is just the latest money-grab invention from Binance and wont be the last one. A lot of people were able to ride the high ROI wave via flipping and on the other hand, a lot of people got burned as well. And this will continue happening in the next "big thing".
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Teams showing real faces to public can still scam you on: October 15, 2019, 07:49:25 AM
They definitely can as crypto is still the wild west of the financial sector, so those people tend to get away without much consequences for their actions. That being said, I especially enjoy watching footage of person-to-person confrontations between these CEOs (and other staff) and disgruntled investors at conferences and other crypto events. Its just so damn satisfying.

292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What makes you still join the bounty campaigns? on: October 14, 2019, 07:30:59 AM
Its still a profitable hobby, but you have to take into account the high risk of not getting paid or getting paid but your reward being worthless. Once you are aware of those cons, take a leap into the scene or move to something else. I would say it is definitely worth trying if you are prepared to waste a half an hour of your time per day.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Buy GRAMS in Telegram. on: October 14, 2019, 07:22:35 AM
GRAMS in intriguing as they claim their blockchain will target most "unsolved mysteries" as sharding and interoperability, but I as well have doubts when it comes to the valuation of the project which is absolutely enormous. It may be another Hedera-like project after its listing and its price will dip way below the ICO price, we shall see.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: hardware wallets safe? on: October 13, 2019, 02:37:18 PM
Purchasing a well established hardware wallet should be a no brainer for everyone that is holding a hefty amount of crypto funds, even if that bag is worth only 500$. Brute force attacks on hardware wallets are rare, so if you are not totally reckless with it, you should not worry about it, but be sure to purchase it from the official sources and not some shady ones via whom you could save 10 or 20 bucks.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: p2pb2b exchange top 1? on: October 13, 2019, 02:26:00 PM
As many have pointed out already, 90+% of their trading volume is wash trading. Other than that, I am not super familiar with it, I only know it is listing a ton of less known projects all the time, as well as holding an IEO service for low tier projects. But the exchange is pretty functional, so it may have a future in the exchange scene, why not.

298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters needs to start respecting themselves on: October 11, 2019, 01:12:17 PM
I'm ok with that as long as the project is legit and the value that you are going to receive in their announcement is the same or even higher when it hit the market, I have participated in one bounty campaign I should be receiving $300 worth of their token but after I received it, the coin failed to get into the market and has become a useless coin in my wallet.

Well, the issue is that those kind of projects are being the norm in the bounty hunting scene since 2018, the ones that fail to even list their tokens on some sub-par exchange, so pretty much every participant is trying to sniff out campaigns that they are maybe not very rich allocation wise, but have at least some mid/long term potential.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the fair rewards come out from campaign? on: October 11, 2019, 01:06:27 PM
Folks just have to deal with it and internalize the fact, that crypto space is still the wild west of the financial sector and there are few responsibilities and accountabilities when discussing the exploitation of the work force aka bounty hunters. But this lack of regulations also enables the chances of big payouts, where you can get awarded in thousands of dollars for something that is worth a hundred bucks in "real life", its a double edged sword.
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Buy GRAMS in Telegram. on: October 11, 2019, 05:56:30 AM
The market conditions are in my opinion way too unstable right now for GRAMS to moon at its listing as it has an insanely high starting valuation. So I would definitely wait to see how it will perform on the exchange, but that being said, I have seen some offers for "cheap" GRAMS tokens (sub 2$), so there as well could be a chance to make some short term gains.
