281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We can’t trust anyone! on: November 13, 2018, 03:58:21 PM
I don't know how the once who rates the ICO in ICO rating sites gets their authority to rate it like there is no shown achievements on their name on rating ICO and some aren't well explained why they rate the ICO 1-5. This is one of the reason why I don't trust ICOs that are high rated because those people aren't introduced well. I agree that we should do further research to join an ICO.
282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as an example of true democracy ? on: November 13, 2018, 01:07:39 PM
Yes it makes us free from some value added tax when using it as a payment method. Until governments want to regulate it. Not an absolute democracy since they limit its potential by like I said, regulating it. The holders should fight for its pure decentralization since for some several years its "democracy" will slowly lose its touch.
283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think only the rich can make profit from Bitcoin? on: November 12, 2018, 06:05:33 PM
All of us can make profit on bitcoin. Rich people having huge amount of bitcoin gets the most profit from the current ups and downs of bitcoin. Even 1% of the change matters if you hold a huge amount of bitcoins unlike having for example 0.01 BTC having a change of 1% almost nothing to do with the amount but still a profit. But I assume that having 100 BTC and a sudden 1% change can already have a 1 BTC profit.
284  Economy / Economics / Re: LETS KICK OUT POVERTY USING BITCOIN on: November 12, 2018, 04:18:56 PM
I think it is impossible to beat poverty using bitcoin unless its marketcap reaches a trillion. If we are relying on the bitcoin today it is still not enough to fill all the poverty side hence not effective. But thinking of a possibility that it would reach $100,000 per coin then it would really be. But I think it would be long to take that huge amount. Also not all people are known to bitcoin so it takes time for them to know it and make use of it.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The End of Anonymity and the Start of Tax Hell for Crypto on: November 12, 2018, 03:54:15 PM
Angry Angry Sad Governments are dreaming of removing anonymity from Crypto. They see Crypto as a taxable goldmine and they want to cash in.

Any thoughts? Check the post on Medium on the topic.
https://medium.com/tabularasa/the-end-of-anonymity-and-the-start-of-tax-hell-for-crypto-38de53cb04c6?source=friends_link&sk=98093ecd7ca8c2753047cbc656c73936 (link below bypasses the Medium paywall)

Any thoughts?

Collecting tax is also knowing the person who uses crypto as payment and it also means that it is not decentralized anymore because there is a person who controls its system. A reason why crypto are made because of anonymouse transaction that leads for a secure contract. Applying tax for it removes a relevant reason why it is made.
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in Ripple? on: November 12, 2018, 03:34:44 PM
Hey guys, what do you think about ripple? I think it’s a centralized shit which is interesting only for banks and so on. However it is growing and people still believe in it. Idk why.

I think ripple will not let its value to reach a dollar again. It maybe add a supply again like last time when it reaches $3, after they add the total supply it drastically goes down. I feel from the start knowing that it is centralized makes me feel not hoping for a big change in my total value of assets. Still a good coin though but I will never wait for a long time for a centralized coin.
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥 🔥[ANN][ICO] SOLAREX | BLOCKCHAIN POWERED SOLAR ENERGY ECOSYSTEM on: November 11, 2018, 06:38:21 PM
Yet another scam ICO. No whitepaper, no implementation details, even the website is practically empty with just three ICO money grab "specialists" presented instead of a team.
Just a lot of noise in social media, fake "community" building and bullshit talk.

LOL. Can you take a look to the website again before you talk bad about the ICO? You seem to be impatient mister.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡⚡[BOUNTY][AIRDROP][ICO] Solarex ICO Bounty Campaign $5 Million USD Rewards⚡⚡ on: November 11, 2018, 06:31:04 PM

289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing decision on: November 11, 2018, 03:59:53 PM
Is current time good for buy more coin?
Normally, I will buy more when the price of coin is dropped. But with this situation of the market, I doubt the effectiveness of buying decision. Please give me an advise!

I also doubt buying coins at low price because I have a feeling that it would still continue to collapse. But if you take the risk on buying before reaching its lowest knowing that the coin will still grow higher than the supposed lower price then it would be worth buying it.
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learning is earning! on: November 11, 2018, 03:40:21 PM
While many of us wants to earn from cryptocurrency, we must also take into consideration of going through the process of learning about it of course. Learning is always the first step. As you can see there is "EARNING" in the word "LEARNING". So that's it, we have to learn if we want to earn.

Do you believe me? What do you say?

In my opinion, it is really hard to learn when you really just into the money. I honestly admit that I only go for money. I know that I will not succeed by only thinking about just earning cryptocurrencies. If I learn there are more opportunities like in trading and investing. But for now I need a starting money to enter those I've mentioned and I think I try my best to also learn while doing some signature campaign. I can see that there are topics I need to read before doing some replies. And by that I could earn a little amount of knowledge which is good for me.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Altcoins Discussion Are About ETH on: November 11, 2018, 03:26:01 PM
Almost every discussion about altcoins majorly is centered around ETH, this has taken over the first page of the https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=67.0 section. This goes to show the important of the coin in the space and how much premium is being placed on it. My belief is that ETH will not die and most ICOs will continue to launch on the network. This will make the price to back up as the demand for it will increase.

Yeah! Since almost altcoins made Ethereum as platform for crowdfunding. And due to the collapse of Ethereum because of FUDs it almost made the ICOs from the Q1 of 2018 collapse also. Same belief as you that Ethereum will not die because it has the 2ndmost marketcap next to Bitcoin and it did not become a platform for nothing. Ethereum serves many purpose in the crypto world. Just have faith on it and many in several months holders will gain profit from it again.
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should I do now on: November 06, 2018, 04:11:03 PM
Some people say hold your crypto,  some says sell immediately that holding for long is useless.
What do you believe and practice?

If it is an ERC20 token that uses Ethereum as platform, better not sell it since Ethereum is still not on its peak ($215 today). You will see that those will rise with Ethereum that happened almost $1400 on its peak and those associated with it also rises having their own set of good profits investing on a project that is ethereum-based. If it is not an ethereum-based I think better do some double or triple check on it since it could really have a potential since the digital age is still not yet reached because of fiat money that we are used to until today. Still, it is your choice I'm just saying my thoughts. It is your holdings not mine so follow what your mind says. In the end you are the ones who will receive the money. All holders do need patience so if you are not satisfied then don't sell.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold your coins in multiple wallets on: November 06, 2018, 03:24:11 PM
Yeah it is better to have different wallets rather than sticking up with only just one wallet like myetherwallet for ERC20 altcoins. Also multiple metamask when using MEW. It is better to have in many good reasons and when it comes to money even though the security is tough it would worth better than just an easy way of storing those assets. Multiple hardware wallets also do if you have enough money to do it and add some flexing stuffs.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will altcoins ever recover their value? on: November 06, 2018, 03:13:43 PM
It depends if the team really works well. If the altcoin is just used to collect money and used it on different things non-ICO related then the value will just continue to dump. Making those investors just give their money to an ICO being introduced that only intend to steal money in a legit way. So next time find a promising ICO with a good team if you really want your investments be worth it.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cheating in Bounties/Airdrops on: November 06, 2018, 03:08:27 PM
Hi,

I am a bounty hunter and i have realized that almost all the bounties are being flooded by some morons who use one person's BTC id, other person's fb/twitter, and put their own ERC address.

They may be using some kind of bots to do that.

What i think he/they are doing is that they have made a list of btc address, fb address, twitter address, and telegram and then use them in bounties and airdrops. They have made some kind of automation software that now do it for them and they take up all the spots in the Airdrops, bounties etc.
They just flood them, put their own ERC20 entries in them while using other's address.

With that they don't have to worry because their ERC address can't be traced to their identity as the rest of the info is all fake.

I have found my BTC id used at quiet a few bounties now which i never applied. Same with my twitter and fb address.

I know that a few bounties are now asking for proof of authentication post but not all of them.

With the growing security issues in BTC can't we start Google 2 factor authentication for our profile as it also has been attacked and also what can be the solution to these kind of scammers ?

I have also found using my Eth address in some bounties that I didn't participate. Making my account vulnerable on being red trust for the thing I didn't do. Bounty campaigns should really require a proof of authentication to prevent multiple accounts and fakes. I wish also that bots should be eliminated in this forum since it would hurt the reputation of the forum. Well, can't blame cheaters on what they're doing since life is hard.
296  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: DO YOU BUY WHEN THE PRICE DROPS SHARPLY ? on: November 05, 2018, 04:01:12 PM
Good day, mates.

My strategy is to buy coins when the price drops sharply.

Sometimes I fail, because the price drops more than I expected.

But, to prevent this worse situation, I put 30% of my budget at the time of initial investment.
If the price getting down again, I put 30% more.

With this strategy, I am getting some money so far.

In conclusion, I recommend you guys to buy coins when they drops rapidly.
After sharp drop, there should be sharp rising.  Cool

I do buy when the coin really have potential or sometime already did pumped a 100% increase. If you see a good pattern then give it a try since there is already a guide when to trade. A proper utilization of price charts can give you a good look on your future profit. There are still promising altcoins that are still sleeping and maybe one day you'll realize that it is just a sleeping giant.
297  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without losses? on: November 05, 2018, 03:49:12 PM
I'm interest in trading and I want to know more about it. So please give me your valuable ideas and opinions. As a beginner I would like to know that Is there any special ways to do trading without losses or in a manner which minimize the losses. Not only that please tell me Is it possible to start trading with a small amount of money at the beginning.
Hope you will help me.
Thank you. Smiley Smiley

You can't evade loses but as possible don't sell all when the price goes high cause it still could go high and same thing as buying, don't buy at all at a single price. That technique gives me more gains that just buying/selling all-in. Buy and sell in fractions is for me the best way in trading short and long term.
298  Economy / Economics / Re: Mistakes That Make You Poor Poor In Cryptocurrency on: November 05, 2018, 02:45:45 PM
With cryptocurrency, you have to be careful with any fraud and theft. and usually many people who are caught in the losses in the world of crypto is:
1. Not Backup Key
2. Electricity Billing Mining More
3. Lunes In Phishing Sites
4. Buy Coin With Rumors
5. Create a weak password
6. Steal With Stealth ICO

With cryptocurrency, no bank or other institution or regulation will protect you in the event of a loss.

If you wage all your money on a single altcoin with 100% not sure that it will pump but 100% that is a shitcoin that only goes down until the price is zero. Proper research is also required in cryptocurrency. Refrain from being greedy. There are many altcoins that surely only drops its value since they're fakes. Try to check the whitepaper and the website and do some proper judgment.
299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you hear about Bitcoin (From Ponzi to Cryptocurrency) on: November 05, 2018, 02:25:13 PM
I first encounter it on deepweb using it as a payment for anonymity. So I find a way to earn it. First I knew that it could be mined by the use of GPUs but the electricity cost in my county is expensive. So other way is on gambling site but I lately notice the it could be bought by the use of exchanges. So I put my savings on bitcoin and put in on the gambling site. I earned more than I loss so I think I was lucky that my savings didn't go to vain. So the next time I just do some trading on exchanges. Less risk but greater and sure gains.
