Not sure why that's happening, and I can't reproduce it myself.. I've left a few computers running on different IPs and still can't get it to happen.. You can expect a commit very soon with an update. I am just looking at the best solution.
Another thing I noticed is that I had a couple different coin-type pools going in my cgminer pool management section. Just to be safe, I removed all but the active solo pool. Hopefully that was the cause of the issue. Looks like either forwarding the port or removing all the other pools from cgminer has fixed the issue. I haven't seen it try to "resync" since, and it's been a couple hours.

Just sent a donation to the devs, keep up the good work! I don't much at this point, but I do have some to spare.

Hey, I bought 4 pcie 1x->16x riser cables that I can't use because my motherboard doesn't support non-powered ones. Is anybody interested in buying them? I think I spent around $30 shipped on them. I'm looking for 10 LTC or 0.25 BTC (I'll pay shipping to the lower 48 states only). Two of them are still NIB, the other two have been taken out but don't work with my motherboard. They basically look exactly like this one:

so in the last 20 minutes, I've had to close and open my digitalcoin-qt because it starts resyncing the block chain all 338733 blocks, 1 every second. What is going on with this? I haven't seen this in any other coin...
got same trouble 2 times. Now i forwarded port 7999 and i'll see what happens I'll try that as well to see if it helps at all.

I was on fenican pool and switched to the France one... Just found a block as writing I was wondering if a free vps could be enough to host a p2p pool? maybe could set up a node in North America... I've got a linux machine in the middle of the USA, so it would be a decent ping to both coasts. Does anyone know how much bandwidth setting up a p2p pool actually takes? I'd take a crack at it if it isn't overwhelming.

Isn't there an exchange picking it up soon?
Hope not. Don't want all the defective miners over at WDC to flock over here. I want to mine as much as I can while the diff is still low. -tb- agreed. I am solo mining about 5400khash/sec right now...found 4 blocks in the last 90 mins. I think that's a better way to go at this diff level than pool right now. I could be wrong, as I haven't done the math. At least I get all the blocks I find though! I am also happy that this coin isn't on an exchange yet. It seems like once it's on coinchoose, EVERYBODY and their mom shows up and mines the crap out of it--and the difficulty skyrockets. Let's mine a bit before that happens

That site should come with a gambling warning. Fun though Yah it is fun. It's nice to be able to gamble a little bit especially with coins that don't have much value.

BitGrenade seems like some easy money! I should be able to retire today with some luck just gotta save your DGC and cash it in in a couple years, then you can really retire

So anyone has any pool that counts coins like it should or not?
http://www.digitalcoinpool.com seems to be right from my testing, and also could use more miners. +1 joined.... Joined as well, I must have given up half my coins to those two scam pools. +1 Joined too, only got half of of est daily from those 2 pools Joined as well. Let's see if this one gives me what I should be getting Ok, a block I mined is confirmed but I still have zero payout in my account on the system. Anybody else have this issue? PPLNS system, you can read about it at the pool page. It takes time to show up. Also, you can play bitgrenade with DGC: http://www.bitgrenade.net/?coin_display=6 Don't gamble all your money away! yep, spoke too soon. Just got my first payment. stupid bitgrenade lol..I just got back from vegas and I think i'm having gambling withdrawals

Lol. As soon as you posted this like 4 people jumped over there and started buying things. I still think the whole bitgrenade thing is a really weird concept.
