0.01 BTC
283  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Microsoul question on: February 25, 2020, 09:50:19 PM
Personally I love these coins . Simple but effective design and their history adds a bit of magic/ mystery  Smiley
Value/cost/price is all relative . Don’t rely on the fact that it may be loaded and just go for the numistic value to you.

Do you think .05 BTC is a little high?

Yes, more than double face for any "loaded" coin is just a money grab.

By "any" do you mean Casascius as well?  Grin If so I'll take a .1 for less than double face value

Looks like this will frame well.

I have a couple original Normal Rockwell WWII propaganda posters framed. You definitely want to get them done by a professional that knows the correct glass and paper to use so it doesn't get ruined. Likely will be $150-200 to get it properly framed.
286  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] BitcoinTalk Custom Hand-Poured .999 Fine Silver Bars - [ Now Sold ] on: February 24, 2020, 01:50:38 PM
Is everyone going to ignore the fact that his post said signed delivery and tecshare initially refused to allow signature delivery out of "privacy" concerns?
287  Economy / Reputation / Re: MagicByt3 - refusing to honor his auction contract on: February 23, 2020, 02:37:03 AM
You're literally an idiot if you think posting on a forum holds you to any legal obligation lmfao

You are literally an idiot, then. When it is in writing, it doesn't matter if it is a text, a social media post or written on good old fashioned paper. A contract is a contract.

Contract laws vary country to country. Exactly whose contract law are we supposed to follow over the internet?
288  Economy / Reputation / Re: MagicByt3 - refusing to honor his auction contract on: February 23, 2020, 02:28:30 AM
Are there rules I can read about these contracts and bids on the forum? I'd like to know where it says a seller can't cancel someone else's bid?

No there are no "official" rules other than the rules he and his other silver seller buddy's try impose on a new seller.

Yes, there are. It is called contract law. Auctions also have their own set of legal obligations. This is the case on and off of the forum. This is not some magical place where laws cease to exist.

Right now I have to take YOUR word that you send funds to some escrow I have had NO dealing with in the past.
No way to prove there was any transaction so I won't be sending out my product without being able to verify the payment.

No one would do this no one..

What are you talking about... many have used minerjones escrow, he's one of the most trusted here. You already agreed to use him as escrow. If this deal goes through, at one point he'd be holding BOTH the item and the funds so you have to trust him regardless of any TXIDs. Just drop this nonsense and ship it. No need to waste everyone's time on something so trivial.

Sent to MJ escrow... I await a reply.

Hello MJ.

What is you shipping address so I can have the bar send out on Monday.

It will require a signature on delivery to you.

I only wanted verification that escrow was holding payment nothing more.

You have been given good rep by a lot of people but I have had no dealing with you so  I hope you can understand my concerns over being able to validate the payment to you..

Can you send me where the bar is to be shipped to and on Monday I will provide you with tracking and proof of postage.

Best regards

Magic..

Wonderful. Thank you.

You're literally an idiot if you think posting on a forum holds you to any legal obligation lmfao

OP stated signed delivery was required and Techsare refused am I missing anything else?

I'll grab 2
292  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] BitcoinTalk Custom Hand-Poured .999 Fine Silver Bars - [ Now Sold ] on: February 21, 2020, 11:26:42 PM
I find it ironic you want to use the privacy excuse when you are buying items to be shipped to a physical location. The OP states signature required and payment should me made to the BTC address in the post. Tecshare if you had an issue with either of these requirements and/or were worried about your privacy you should have 1) not bid 2) not pay in bitcoin 3) send the BTC from an exchange. Please stop using a privacy defense as you had plenty of options to conceal it. Having a signature vs not having a signature on a delivery is not a privacy concern. Also what's with all this alt account talk, are all you guys really that paranoid?  The only reason I came back to this forum was to notify Dignity coin holder of the FBI investigation and then saw these cool crypto coins and started buying em.
293  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] BitcoinTalk Custom Hand-Poured .999 Fine Silver Bars - [ Now Sold ] on: February 21, 2020, 09:55:20 PM
While I'm new here also and I can agree with most of these points... I think one of your points is a little off base...(based on my experience with other platforms)

3. Because of his behavior I insist on escrow, and of course he again wants to tell us all how escrows work refusing to meet the terms of the buyer.

- As a seller, if I wasn't comfortable with the terms of the buyer I would just just cancel the sale and not sell to him and let it end at that. This is how I conduct business on eBay and other platforms and yes I occasionally get negative feedback when I cancel someone's sale, it's not worth the hassle of possibly getting scammed (not saying this is the case here, I'm saying if there is ANY drama with the buyer I just cancel the sale). There is tell-tale signs on eBay so it's not exactly the same as on here but just wanted to state my opinion.

We aren't on eBay. Perhaps you should lurk a little bit longer before telling a guy who has been here for 8 years how things work here. He engaged in a contract with me. I insist he honors it. It is that simple. Frankly I think he was hoping for more money, and him being exceedingly difficult is his attempt at getting out of the agreement so he can try again for more. None of his behavior here makes me think he is above this.

His OG post states:

:Shipping:
Ships from the United Kingdom with Royal Mail Tracked & Signed for on delivery.

If you were concerned about privacy and didn't want a signed delivery maybe you shouldn't have bid in the first place?
294  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] BitcoinTalk Custom Hand-Poured .999 Fine Silver Bars - [ Now Sold ] on: February 21, 2020, 09:51:02 PM
I tried to give MagicByt3 one last chance to solve this privately, but clearly my, and every one else's breath is wasted on him. Let me summarize the situation.

1. MagicByt3 runs a shady auction which makes everyone doubt his integrity over 0.002 BTC
2. He then argues with everyone about it, says hes new, but wants to tell us all how auctions work
3. Because of his behavior I insist on escrow, and of course he again wants to tell us all how escrows work refusing to meet the terms of the buyer
4. He demands to pick the escrow, I tell him no and insist on an escrow of my choice
5. He then posts my private messages without permission (I gave you permission to post PMs up to that date, not all future PMs forever more)
6. even more arguing

In summary, great job ending your reputation here, because now no one will touch you with a 400 foot pole after this little shit fit.

Just to clear some stuff up. I sent payment to Minerjones, and I asked for my TXID to be kept private. Expecting escrow to work like it does every other time I used escrow, I expected the seller to ship directly to me, as others have explained, shipping to Minerjones just wastes more time and money, and provides the seller absolutely no more protection than shipping directly to me. This guy clearly doesn't respect my privacy after posting a bunch of my PMs without permission, why should I trust him with my TXID? Either he trusts Minerjones or he doesn't. Him having a TXID doesn't offer him any more protection whatsoever if Minerjones is intent on defrauding him.

This is just more childish foot stomping because he couldn't have it his way. I asked for standard no signature post, which of course would include tracking. Requiring a signature is just more bullshit I do not want to deal with. This is just you being a child and stomping your feet demanding to dictate how it is. Let me tell you how it is. You have no future trading here, and it is all because you enjoy dictating to your customers how it is, more than you are concerned with serving your customers.

I am not releasing you from your contract with me. You agreed to sell the bar to me. Are you willfully violating our contractual agreement now?

While I'm new here also and I can agree with most of these points... I think one of your points is a little off base...(based on my experience with other platforms)

LOL everything I’m saying is factual, what part would you like me to grow up on, please clarify. You’ve literally pissed off everyone. Do you not realize not a single person has  agreed with you? Not 1 out of 10, Trump is more rationale than you. You brush off every valid point i make so come on buddy, let’s be adults and see you actually provided basis to your claims. Let’s start here first:

WHERE ARE THE MESSAGES THAT SAY NO SIGNED DELIVERY?!  WE ARE WAITING

normal post is not signed for in the UK nor is it signed for in the US....

He said  Normal Post....

You can add Signature confirmation to any type of USPS shipment. UK I don't know about.

If you are worried about $100 in btc, maybe you have more pressing matters in life.....
This is not the place for you.

Not correct at all.

I was happy to send the bars out to escrow but it seems the terms of it are being dictated to me by the buyer.
I have send out 2 of the bars today to escrow also I am not happy sending the 3rd one via regular post where no signature would be required on delivery.

Where is the protection for me as the seller here?

To be honest forum rep means very little ive seen people with 100's of trust fall from grace here so that is not even a valid argument.

If escrow was collecting both the item and the funds I have no issues.

Sending direct to the buyer without sign on delivery is a NO NO as if something goes wrong or he claims he didn't get it there no proof of delivery.

None of what I am saying is un-reasonable, unless you have more pressing concerns about a new silver business in "your" space.

I look forward to reviews from the other members who have been more accommodating and helpful in this matter.

MJ you also said in your PM you could accept the bar and verify it if requested now that's not an option why so?

If you're so worried about shipping to the buyer

1) USPS includes tracking if you purchase the shipping online, no matter what type of shipping it is.
2) Spend $3 out of pocket and ask for a signature, if the buyer is unable to sign for the package he can pick it up at the post office.

If you believed this coin was actually backed by gold and believe you were scammed please reach out to the FBI and SEC. Reference "Dignity Gold Token Fraud" in the subject line. Check Telegram for Dignity Gold & Mining Fraud LLC for more information or send me a direct DM on here if you want more information. If you have evidence against this project I can give you a direct contact at both agencies via DM.

This man is an idiot fudder .. Dignity Gold is not and never has been a scam

You're right. They have $3 billion in gold backing their token that now has a 116 Billion circulating supply instead of 3 billion. Get the fuck out of here.
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not FOMO on newly listed altcoins on Binance on: February 21, 2020, 06:46:28 PM
I had a little experience about this too in livecoin were I bought Level for trade, after I bought the said token, the token fell  down with almost 40sat, it was a hard dump and till date am still holding the token because its value hasn't appreciate till now. Nothing pains a trader than seeing a potential token and after buy order the token dumped. There are many lessons traders need to learn concerning new tokens in exchanges.

I would advise against trading at all on Livecoin. They are an insecure exchange and are likely under FBI investigation in relation to a token they have been in bed with for the last two years. They also list shitty Russian ICOs non-stop. If you dig into their background it seems to be run by some sketchy Russian who bought a pre-made shell company to run the exchange out of London.
