281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: September 27, 2017, 12:23:13 PM
I would like to know what experiences did you had when you first started with Bitcoins. As for me, I had many that I would like to share with you.

When I began in the Bitcoin world, I was a complete rookie with no proper knowledge of how did mining worked or anything about cryptocurrencies. I just thought about Bitcoin as another payment processor like PayPal. But when I joined the BitcoinTalk community, I learned so many things along the way. In my process of learning in the first days, I decided to invest into cloud mining services. Since I didn't knew much about it, I invested a plenty amount of Bitcoins to start my journey into it. During that time, I had gotten into many different services. Those were GAW Miners, then Cointellect, cloudminr.io and finally Hashnest. After getting scammed many times by the services mentioned previously, (except for Hashnest) I have lost many Bitcoins. As a result, I decided to never invest into cloud mining and thus dedicate myself into learning more about the cryptocurrency and look for other ways to earn Bitcoins. It was then that I enrolled into the signature campaign that I am currently into and during all that time I began to earn Bitcoins as well as diversify my investments into different alt coins. Now I am dedicated to trading Bitcoins and other alt coins, as well as working for it (like the signature campaign and working as a freelancer) in order to earn coins and build up my portfolio along the way.

Anyways, what would be your experiences with this exciting cryptocurrency?  Cheesy
When i first started. Its very hard for me to browse or to explore here. At first its hard for me to understand many things about bitcoin. On how to join in a signature campaign and on how to earn with this way of earning.
282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you using bitcoins for? on: September 26, 2017, 05:48:05 AM
The miners mine and hold, other mine and sell.

Investors and speculators buy, hold and sell.

You can buy random items in auctions and through the forums.

What are the reasons for the bulk of the bitcoin transfers? I read an article underlying the "dark side" of the internet and TOR network, and they seem to point out that bitcoins are now nearly the exclusive currency for the online "black market" (Note, they are not saying bitcoins are exclusively used for black market transactions)

What have you used bitcoins for?

Miner
Investor
Black Market
Other - explain

I am using my bitcoin for my personal expenses like buying food in fas food chains, buying customized shirts online, buying accessories online. Also im buying new gadget that i want. But i also give some money to my parents to help them financially if they have something to buy or to pay.
284  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: September 25, 2017, 12:54:31 PM
Billionaires may have been investing in BTC. It is possible that the whales we sometimes see are one of them. Also BTC is a legit investment that have really great potential. Legalities also are available to this investment.
Maybe yes. Maybe also the person they called the whales that earns 5000 btc is one of them. Theyre still investing here in btc because they know that its legit. But maybe also some billionaires not invedting here. Because they have their own way of earning so thats the reason.
285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: September 21, 2017, 05:53:31 PM
It was a Slashdot article :

It might have read this one, but it's unlikely that I have paid any attention :
Bitcoin Releases Version 0.3 (July 2010)

This article is when I most likely started taking interest in the subject :
WikiLeaks, Money, and Ron Paul (December 2010)

And this one I remember so well, I remember the first comment!

I first heard about bitcoin when my two classmates is talking about bitcoin. First when i heard that. My mind is fill with curiosity so i tried to ask them what are they talking about. So they started to share many hings about bitcoin and because of them here i am joining in a signature campaign like them and earning here.
286  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: September 21, 2017, 05:42:52 PM
i had about $200 worth of bitcoin.
How can i earn more with that amount?
should I trading? or make an investment?
and please give me some trusted site to investing my wealth.

**i dont want to give a loan, or else.**

if you had some advice, feel free to tell me.
really apreciate it.
thank you.

It depends on what kind of investment do you preferred. If you will make it as an investment, make sure you really like well that kind of investment. But regarding to your statement about "trusted site", it looks like your only known investment is by investing it in a site like hyip or ponzi investment. Well stay away from them.

I want you to entered the world of trading. Your capital is worth enough to try this kind of method to earn bitcoin. Yes it's not for beginners but all traders came from a beginner one. As soon as you are building experience, you will improved yourself in trading.

How to start? Well first how you know well when you hear the term "trading"?
For me. Its more profitable in investing. I dont how to do that but i think its more profitable. I want to learn investing or any method about that so that i can earn bigger income. But for now. I prefer to join in a signature campaign.
287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What If Bitcoin is banned? on: September 21, 2017, 04:24:03 PM
I would still use it. Not sure how the government can really find out you are using bitcoin unless you walk around screaming about it. They could block the exchanges, but you can use proxy or VPN to go around it.
Its a disaster for many users especially to those users who actually prefer bitcoin as a main source of income and does not have enough job to earn some money for themselves. But i think it will not happen unless there is something bad happened to bitcoin.
288  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Should I Choose Bitcoin ?? on: September 21, 2017, 02:49:10 PM
why dont you include the drawbacks of using bitcoins as well ? if you are explaining bitcoin to somebody then you should explain the whole thing and not only the advantages of using btc. btw, the points that you have listed are nothing new. by doing a quick search about bitcoin on google, anyone can get these points so no need to post those common points again and again. just my 2 cents!
Why you dont. Its helpful to someone so why you dont choose or prefer bitcoin. Its easy to earn here not just like in field job. You need to be hardworker. I also prefering bitcoin as my source of income.
289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: September 21, 2017, 12:59:04 PM
For me! This is monney with great internet payment gateway
For me. Bitcoin is money, a digital money which can access by using internet it has a great feature that you can pay something all you just need is internet also. Bitcoin can earn in many different ways. Investing, mining, trading or joining in a signature campaign. I most prefer joinng in a signature campaign. Bounty campaign mostly. Its more pfofitabls for me.
290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: September 21, 2017, 05:01:50 AM
The possibility. Bitcoin has only it's future ahead of it and it can be wildly successful, I hope it is. I hope it's able to be a safe alternative for people. I hope it's able to keep some bad practices in control. Competition is a good thing and competition among currencies in a country doesn't exist.
Whay i like best about bitcoin is that bitcoin is helping me especially in my financial aspect. I can buy things that i want. By simply posting here in the forum i can earn. Because bitcoin is profitable.
291  Economy / Economics / Re: How long could bitcoin last? on: September 20, 2017, 05:28:09 PM
As of right now, the bitcoin price is expected to keep going up in the next 20 years. But can it last that long? I believe it's possible. But can't it crash at a random time? Like the price going down hard.

Are you being sarcastic? How should price be related to existence of Bitcoin?
I seriously believe crypto community should understand nothing lies in price, what actually matter is "UTILITY". instead of growing number of exchanges, I wanna see growing number of Bitcoin merchants. So don't consider price to be the decisive factor of Bitcoin success or failure.
No one can predict that but i think it will last for long years and hope it will reach high value so that users can earn higher too. It will not die until it not reaches $10k. Haha
292  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: September 20, 2017, 01:11:52 AM
i can not think of any other big issue besides the TX limit, for now or for the future, bitcoin need to get out of the beta phase, where it is seems stuck forever

possible obstacles would be regulation around the world(so not just one country...) and base security issue, to avoid new users losing their bitcoin

then you have a bunch of small pesky problem, like confirmation time(side chain can solve this), slow sync(checkpoint can solve this), 51% attack(ignoring the whole thing about "the longest chain matter more" can solve this) ecc...
Maybe next year the bitcoin value willreach $5k or even more. Because as of now bitcoin knowledge is spreading worldwide. Many investors are influencing to invest in bitcoin. So if that happens thae value of btc will rise up.
293  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin starts to rise on: September 19, 2017, 04:38:02 PM
The price of Bitcoin moves a lot, though more so right now because of all the move to fiat over the past couple of weeks on China's news. With all the extra cash in the market, it can swing faster.
Yes. Maybe its because also of having many investors in different country because the value is too high for them. I hope it will continue rising. Until it will reach 5k$. Haha
294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today, Bitcoin dump ? on: September 15, 2017, 04:53:45 AM
Can anyone tell me what is happening to Bitcoin?
same thing as always, it is going up and down. up and down.
then FUD hits and the down becomes bigger. then recovers.
then up an down. up and down.
then a HYPE comes and the up becomes bigger.
....

and still continues to decrease, investors and trade as I'm feeling very confused. Give me some advice right now, so I can calm down.
it is the panic sell.
is it your first time with bitcoin? because this is not the first panic sell. we just had one exactly 5 days ago!
another one last month on 22nd of August
another one 2 months ago on 16th of July

and hundreds and hundreds more!
I think its because of  bannning ICO in china because we all know there are so many investors in chaina so its a big loss to bitcoin because the investors cant invdst now.
295  Economy / Economics / Re: Where did you first heard about Bitcoins? on: September 15, 2017, 04:19:01 AM
i heard it from one of my friends at last 2 yrs. ago.
but i ignored it as sounds like a scam for me in the first.
then i saw a lot of bitcoin logo in the internet all over it.
i ignored it again.. then time comes when i quit my job and look
job online. then i saw bitcoin again.. tried it the first time and got interested.
search about it and all.. then im in to it now.. Tongue
well i had fun in using bitcoin and in the same time earning. Smiley
I first herad about bitcoin when my two classmates talking about it. Im so curious that time on what they are talking about so i tried to ask them what is it. So they shared many thinfs about bitcoin.
296  Economy / Economics / Re: could bitcoin be replaced by another crypto currency? on: September 12, 2017, 04:15:40 PM
At first I thought it was impossible for Bitcoin to be replaced since it is the first cryptocurrency, but you are right, some altcoins may have better features than Bitcoin and people may prefer them instead.

Here's an analogy, lets imagine all cryptocurrencies are like mobile phones. Bitcoin is Nokia, and started the mobile phone trend. And soon after everyone started using Nokia. But brands like Blackberry, Samsung and Apple soon created their own phones, and Apple made a major breakthrough with a touchscreen function, where everyone gradually switched to that after a while, and now Nokia is outdated.

Bitcoin has our trust now, but other cryptocurrencies might overtake BTC in the future. Smiley
Is really other cryptocurrency can beat bitcoin? I think its impossivle because as of now bitcoin is the most trusted cryptocurrency than the other. And the value of it is higher than the other so more users prefer to it. And also because bitcoin is known and famous as of now. And becoming more famous.

298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as salary for a regular job? on: September 12, 2017, 12:50:54 PM
i just hope this will come true. If bitcoin became the salary for our jobs, there will be equality among all nations, just take a look what had happened in europe, before all countries in europe have different fiats, the highest in value back then I think was pound, then they all accepted euro, in order for them not to exchange anymore there fiat, rather they have one mode of payment which is in euro. I can still remember I read an article way back regarding the start of euro, a man from italy has a lot of saving in his account but when converted to USD, it is still considered small, however when they accepted their money to be converted to euro, in an instant he became rich in someway, if we will also do that with bitcoin, there will no first world country nor third world country, that separates the rich countries from the poor ones, what I see is that, for example if you are a teacher, and all countries that legalized bitcoin decided to give teachers at least .5 bitcoin as their salary, all teachers will receive the same amount of bitcoin, since bitcoin is considered as a global currency, then you can just exchange your bitcoin to fiat if you wanted to, in this way if your parent as teachers, there is no need for them to go offshore just to earn a living and send money home, they will sure to be teaching in your country and be with their family. Let's all hope that this idea will come to reality soon, since everyone will be willing to accept bitcoin as payment for their job and just convert it to their fiat if they see fit.
I disagree. For me, you should not prefer bitcoin as your main source of income because we cant predict if bitcoin will last for a long time. Maybe you should prefer it as your sideline. I think if you have such a knowledge about bitcoin.
299  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: September 12, 2017, 12:36:17 PM
If bitcoin had a stable price it would be popular. Even if the price is stable or not the popularity of this bitcoin is not too much popular. Because many people dont know what is bitcoin. Many people dont need to use it. Many people dont have care about bitcoin. However it is not too much popular right now in the future i think this is the most popular coin even if the coin is not stable price.
Yes. I agree that if the bitcoin has a stable value i think it will be more popular and maybe the good thing it will be legalized worldwide and for me that is a good thing for the bitcoin users.
300  Economy / Economics / Re: Time is money, how you manage your money and time ? on: September 12, 2017, 04:00:56 AM
Just imagine, how precious is the time for your life? What a valuable time for your financial development. You have the possibility to become a rich person if you try to manage time in a very efficient way. An hour for you could be equal to one month for others. When you waste an hour, you're wasting a month's time for someone else. Therefore, arrange yourself in such a way that can really take advantage of time well.

The quality of time you have will elevate you to better financial condition. If you value time, then time will also appreciate you. Therefore, the English proverb says "Time is money", which means time is money. Pepeatah has a tremendous meaning, which will change your life for the better. The price of your time is the same as the price of money yo
Yes i agree. We have a quote that time is gold. So we should not waste time because time is money you should manage your time to be productive all the time that you can help others or you can help in your community.
