Billionaires may have been investing in BTC. It is possible that the whales we sometimes see are one of them. Also BTC is a legit investment that have really great potential. Legalities also are available to this investment.

I believe billionaires would be involved one way or the other because being a billionaire by virtue of work or inheritance means a lot of risk people are not seeing or tapping into is being taken by the decision maker in which I feel bitcoin is also one of such as those of us who are involved are taking and the billionaires while some are seating on the fence waiting for the "ponzi scheme" to fail.

There is no way billionaires would not have invested in bitcoin they might not do that in their corporate capacity using the names of their firms but in their personal capacity, I am sure some would have been involved. While some have have come out to openly support bitcoin some are still waiting and observing how it goes. Aside that, its also a further testimony to the fact that bigbag holders manipulate the price to their advantage which is not for cheap holders.

Regrettably I think they do. Defeating the purpose of some things cryptocurrency stands for.
Decentralized, not really.
I wouldn't mind bitcoin falling to the value of a single dollar. And more equally distributed coins shooting up in value.

if they do then the value should be much higher, consider for example the amount of money Bill gates has, he is exceeding the whole bitcoin marketcap with easy, if he invest even half of what he have the value would be $6k already
i don't think for now any real billionaires is investing big amount in bitcoin, but some millionaries for sure

I am fairly sure that billionaires invest in Bitcoin and other crypto's, but the thing is that they prefer to remain in silence, out of the publicity.
It has always been like that ~ the most wealthy entities remain in silence when it comes to investments and gains, where others (e.g Kim Dot Com, Max Keiser) start being loud for no reason.

i doubt it. bitcoin is way too small for a "billionaire" to want to bother investing in. you look at it and think it is too big and profitable but when you have a huge amount of money there are a lot of better ways to invest your money into big things and make a lot more than to invest in a small market and make so little profit. for instance in my country some billionaires are into import export business or have some big factories and are making some profits that we can't even see in our dreams

I think they would not miss the opportunity to multiply their fortunes. They also live in the modern world and use all the means of earning.

They already did, let take bill gates for example and his famous quotes about bitcoin which is "Bitcoin is unstoppable" in that quote he looks very confident when he said that and also like he has a guarantee that bitcoin will be the next big currency in the world that is unstoppable probably because of being decentralized.

I heard a few names during the past 2-3 years. One of them was Richard Branson of the Virgin Group. In 2014, he termed Bitcoin as one of the profitable investments. Another billionaire with interest in BTC is Li Ka-shing of Hong Kong. Around 3 years back, he was reported to have invested several hundred millions of USD in the digital currency.

People here are funny - just because someone is a billionaire by status, it doesn't automatically mean that they will pump huge loads of money into whatever type of investment, and especially not when it comes to something so speculative as Bitcoin. Another thing, being a billionaire doesn't automatically mean that you have a billion in direct liquid funds. Most of the wealth sits in the business they have/are running, stocks, stakes in other businesses, etc. If you for example have $10 million to freely invest, you'll be just buying yourself 3570BTC at current levels, which is something the current market swallows without any problems. But the thing with trades of this magnitude is, they mostly happen off-exchange.

I think that there are some billionaires that have invested in Bitcoin. Or at least some that want to invest into Bitcoin in the near future. I am pretty sure that all of them know about Bitcoin, some have invested whereas others haven't.

Good question. I know it looks like it's impossible for someone still to not know about bitcoin, but I personally talk to people at least once in two weeks about bitcoin. And when I start I think this person should definitely know something because it's either a student of Economy or a person who I think aware of all modern trends. But to my surprise it is often happens that they know nothing about BTC.
