281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of coins i should hold for next 2 years... on: March 21, 2018, 02:35:53 PM
If you are looking this long, why do you think that bitcoin is already high?
You should understand one important thing first of all - crypto is very volatile, and you cant say with certainty what we will see in next half of the year.
And you want to buy alts that can become disappeared one day but you dont want to buy btc for ~9k thinking it will not be higher in 2020.
Think about it Smiley Maybe the point is to save your btc on this market?
282  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to Earn easy Merit? on: March 21, 2018, 02:24:04 PM
You just need to provide the necessary information to the community. You can release a product or manual that will help newcomers to understand the basics.

Maybe this is really helpful advice, but it cant help to gain merits - because newcommers, if they find information helpful, cant send merits - they dont have them.
Same time older members dont draw their attention to that kind of info(for beginners) so this is a real difficult task to gain merits by posting info for newbies
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No listed on coinmarketcap on: March 21, 2018, 02:12:08 PM
If you are asking is it safe to buy coins that you can't find on coinmarketcap - yes it is, but only if project is relatively young.
If you see old project which is not on cmc(that means its daily volume had never reached $100 000 of daily trading volume) - such project can remain no-name and you can just freeze your investment. But when its new - everything is ahead, and it will be listed soon, so if you like the project you can buy
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain as a revolutionary technology? on: March 20, 2018, 05:45:07 PM
I think this is the real technology, real future.
In your post you took a closer look on Bitcoin and crypto only, as an example, but imagine blockchain in other structures of economics, and this is only the small part of possible usage area of blockchain. You said that there is too many information stored in blockchain - but this is its purpose. It is perfect if we could storage all information of the past and everybody can check it. If you are concerned about where we can store it -
in 1990 we used floppy disc. Now imagine how much disc space you can place in floppy disc size. And this amount will rise with geometric progress.
So blockchain is the technology that can change the world like internet imo
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH TO $ 5000 on: March 20, 2018, 04:14:37 PM
We can't predict surely about anything in crypto. Though the last month was better for ETH then now. I don't think so that ETH will raise $5k in this year. But if it happens it will be better for all crypto members. Till now ETH isn't on the way of $5k. I think ETH may reach $2k-$3k in 2018.
He is definitely on the wrong path, today showed everyone how much the market could fall. ETH is cheaper than $ 500, this is a very strong fall over the past few years.

We all wanted too much from the currency that can not provide fast transactions if one kitty game is launched on its' platform.
There are too many technically better coins already existing that are faster, more scalable and etc.
If eth will stop developing as a technology, it will become just speculative tool, not more
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON Millionaire on: March 20, 2018, 03:52:51 PM
If you are asking will it be real one day, I should say that it can be, tron can reach $10.
But if you want to know how long it can take - I dond know. And I should say more - nobody knows.
Tron is a good coin to invest, but if you want instant profits, it is not that kind of investment imo. For big gains big time is requied if you are not a swindler
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I DON'T CARE ABOUT MERIT! DON'T GIVE ME MERIT! on: March 20, 2018, 03:47:14 PM
Nice try, but... all you need to do to not to receive merits - just keep silent and and dont create such shitty topics.
And nobody will need to read that you ask for nothing. And maybe if mods will see that you are asking for merits they can mark you as merit abuser, so try to find another way to reach your goal Wink
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is a good amount to invest? on: March 20, 2018, 09:57:53 AM
What is a good amount to start with when investing into crypto?

I see lots of posts about “I have $100 / $200, what should I buy” and most of the time the answers are with that amount just invest in an ICO etc etc.

I would be interested to know what people here consider a good starting amount to invest...and I know the basics of not investing more than you can afford to loose but for arguements sake, what’s a good number to start with?

I’m not so much interested from a whale perspective of investing like $500k or $1mill, more so the normal everyday average joe male/female investor who wants to dabble in the crypto market. Would it be $1k, $2k, $5k, $10k, $20k etc? People new to the game or interested to start investing in this space may find this useful so they know a rough number which would be a good starting point before turning  that into riches (the obvious dream).

For reference I initially started with about $3k (it’s not loads but it was a start) and over time I’ve added more and more (it gets addicting) into the pot as and when I have the money to spend and when the time seems good to buy.

In my opinion the best amount to invest is one that will not affect your financial condition. If it happens to lose your investment, it should not negatively affect you or
generally speaking, invest as much as you can lose.  Smiley

Why everyone always says something about loses Smiley
Investing is associated with risks of course, but risk is not total loss, it can be deposit decreasing but not at all.
I think best decision is to invest free money - so if you got in difficult situation you will be able to wait for situation to get better. That helps to keep patience
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What must i have before holding some coin ? on: March 19, 2018, 04:53:23 PM
i want to ask to you , what should i do before i decide to holding a coin ? a part from the clarity of the developer
thanks you before , and i hope you all can understand what i said  Grin

First of all, "make your own research" and make a right decision if you want to extreme hodl a coin - is it worth it.
And you should remember that in crypto there are too many changeable things. Like main dev can decide to leave the project because Charlie Lee invited him to support Litecoin, just for example Cheesy
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Making MEW more secure??? on: March 19, 2018, 04:49:16 PM
Hi friends,

Is there any way to make MEW wallet more secure like enabling 2-factor authentication or sms otp etc. I tried to Google it but I don't think MEW support 2FA.

Also, what are some best MEW alternatives that you are using?

As was mentioned myetherwallet doesnt provide 2-factor verification neither via Google 2fa nor SMS. So there is no posibility to make it safer.
But if you want to be sure your ethereum is in safe place, just generate private key from secured device. And then transfer.
Or if you want hot storage with top security - you need to buy one of harware wallets like Trezor which provides token transactions
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Just RELAX, it will be OK! on: March 18, 2018, 11:07:18 AM
Why are people panic selling right now? Scared of a little regulation? That is bull! G20? All they might do is AML prevention. If you are not laundering money, nothing will happen to you!! And we don't want money launders in our midst anyway! Chillax, it will be OK!

Someone who understands the arena and all actions that are carring out here are chiiling, others who dont understand it and think that decentralized cryptocurrency can be blocked by the government - they are in panic, but its funny imo Cheesy To look at them
And maybe that is good. Some of us are in bitcoin for bitcoin, other are in bitcoin for money, so the main task for them is not to lost dollar(excluding lambo of couse, second main task Grin).
But we - we are here for another things, and these pumps and dumps for us - only something that does not bother us Smiley
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Panic Sell ? / Chance on: March 18, 2018, 10:59:53 AM
Panic selling will just lead to a more bloody cryptomarket and of course you are selling your crypto assets at a lower price. Chances of not selling your crypto assets in times of crash is that you will end up selling it at a higher price when market turns to green.

I think this effect is caused only because everybody is preparing to the crash and want to buy low and a bigger amount.
And almost all market participants do so. Thats why even fake news are profitable for whales. Traders prefer to sell and then do the research - they will buy lower anyway and they understand this.
And we will not have such situations if everybody will hodl as they write in their tweets, but... Cheesy
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO from Russia on: March 18, 2018, 10:55:27 AM
Many of russian programmers joined european and american teams because russian people are kinda gifted, really, but in Russia there is almost no opportunity to realize their full potential, so they are trying themselves with other people in other places.
Thats why I prefer not to invest in russian ICOs. But imo ICO which is like collaboration of different people and they have russian in team and they are based not in ru, so this is great team as for me
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What You Think Of DeepOnion? on: March 16, 2018, 02:47:52 PM
Wow, so many DeepOnion lowers with Deep Onion signature, what a coincidence Cheesy
But if without jokes - someone said there that DO can be stolen from desktop wallet. Boi, every single coin can be stolen from desktop wallet, and you have your hands and your arms to prevent it. And you can do it without ledger Wink
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP or XLM on: March 15, 2018, 07:10:09 PM
The Ripple network nodes might be decentralized (but they're still mostly ran by ripple) however the XRP coin is currently 62% centralized because that's how many Ripple.co has in their control. XLM as a coin is also centralized at a higher rate of 82% control since they're a little younger and haven't distributed as much as ripple. The difference is that XRP is sold by ripple.co at auction price, where XLM is distributed for free to holders, contributes and soon every day people to promote mass adoption. Both coins have 1 billion coins, one company will profit from the distributing xrp while the other will benefit greater simply from having people use and trade xlm without having to sell it.

Wow, that was interesting. So that is just illusion of choice - ripple and stellar are centralized both and can cause some surprisers for holders.
And I dont understand topic starter. Why only two of these coins? Why not trying to find some new altcoins with low capitalization which promise to be big things. Maybe because it requires some time Cheesy
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ada will jump above$ 3 ? on: March 15, 2018, 06:59:40 PM
The Cardano platform has all the necessary characteristics that should be present in the new generation of block projects.
Crypto-currency ADA has all the chances to become one of the most popular crypto-currencies on the market, but time must come for this. At the moment, the palm tree will continue to be held by Ethereum, but eventually Cardano will be aimed at its place.

Yes, cardano is great cryptocurrency imo, so it can break $3 and rise above. But only in one case.
If another scam and near-fraud coins will leave market. Dissapear. And maybe part of their capitalization will go not to fiat but to great projects with real developing experience and own features. And cardano is one of them of course Smiley
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is a million dollars possible? on: March 14, 2018, 11:59:19 AM
If one were to buy and hold solid  avaerge coins (not a coin that kicks out and gets 10000% gain), but rather a nice steady gain like eth, Ltc etc (top 20) and starts with 10k, is it possible to reach a million without trading and buying/selling at highs and lows? If so, how long would you predict it would take? Or are most coins not going to last long term, so every 6 months would I have to rebalance with newer coins?
I think that if you keep the main coins, you definitely get a good profit! This may not be 100000%, but you can do X10 for example during the year. I think that the market is still very small and we will have a big jump up in the near future.

Yeah, I agree with you, and it is really good advice for those who want to make a million BUT only if they already have 500k Wink
But if you have for example from 5k to 20k, it will be hard to make millions on top. All depends on every's goals.
If depo is not big enough, the only good way to make big profit - buy new alts in which you are sure and hodl them for years.
If you made right decision, you will be highly rewarded
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google too closing crypto ads on: March 14, 2018, 11:55:04 AM
Following the lead of Facebook, Google found suspending accounts, funds relating to ICO.
Google's adword platfrom was one of the prime choice of ICO and now it's getting ever more difficult for Project to get places to advertise.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/crypto-advertisers-on-google-adwords-report-ad-suspensions-and-account-terminations

The day seems not far facebook and twitter blocking the post links related to ICO.
By that, I'm afraid that facebook and twitter bounty campaigns will end too. And all newbies participating on social media campaigns will end up hopeless. So sad for them. Cry
We all knew that social media is the largest medium for altcoin and also for bitcoin growth. But if everything comes to reality, I'm afraid we might loose value.

I think there is nothing to worry about. And all that we see now - caused only by the fact that someone close too big corporations wants to enter the market, for real.
You see there are many bad news about bitcoin and its regulation, but the price is not going low(for me low is 3000 for example). That means someone is trying to accumulate btc and other alts, and next thing we will see - huge bull run Wink
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounties and Airdrops on: March 13, 2018, 07:15:07 AM
you need to work on bounty , airdrop is not much

Not exactly. Topic starter is "Brand new", he can become a newbie and then he need to collect a huge amount of merits to become at least full member.
Newbies got such a small amount on bounties, so this will be really long way  to become good bounty hunter.
When airdrops - they are free. You can get coins no matter which your rang is. Of course there is too much rubbish now, but sometimes there are good projects.
Or third way - to participate in bounties with twitter if you have enough followers Smiley
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cheating in bounty programs on: March 12, 2018, 10:15:44 AM
In my experience so far, i can say 90% of bounty program is paying, only some litte  bounty not paying becasue bad organized and they want only free advertising.  But this is risk of my nob, because actually every kind of job has each risk.

Yep, some projects launch bounty programm, doing well on ICO, collecting money, and after succesfull ICO they think that bounty participants did nothing to pay them amount that was mentioned in the beginning.
And in my experience, all projects that did this way - they also did many things that stopped price rising.
They can gain profit themselves by selling/buying their tokens on exchanges using investors' money, but investors can have just a real small amount in the end. So if I see that there were some unclearnesses during the bounty - I dont buy coins of this project and recommend others to act same
