282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Schools Are Officially Accepting Bitcoin for Tuition on: December 15, 2017, 12:07:35 PM
Universities are embracing accepting bitcoin for tuition, with Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Switzerland the latest school to adopt. If anything, it's another clear sign the cryptocurrency is here to stay.

https://futurism.com/schools-accepting-bitcoin-tuition/

Even so... Bitcoin has been used to buy homes, and countries like Venezuela and Vietnam are beginning to truly embrace the currency. Now, certain universities are adopting the payment method of bitcoin for tuition, albeit with a few caveats.

That would be so nice and so helpful because a lot of students now are goinf all in to bitcoins they are doing their studies while doing bitcoins at the same time because it can provide us including me  a decent amount of money even without interrupting our studies so we can do part time jobs in this forum to sustain our studies to keep us from studying if that is really true then a lot of students will start to do bitcoins today.
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: many ICO altcoin , What can be trusted? on: December 13, 2017, 09:08:08 PM
Now a lot of ico altcoin project , do projects that can be trusted . This makes i doubt to participate campaign bounty .
Please tell me friend , how saw projects altcoin can be trusted ?

Those campaigns can be trusted if the manager itself is trusted. But it is hard to tell if it is a legit and successful campaigns or not because a lot of campaigns look much more reliable than those legit itself. But that is my strategy i always look from who is the manager and when they are famous anf trusted then i am gonna join. Like sylon colorlessKa and a lot more out there i am just a beginner and those omes are the campaigns manager that i know can be trusted.
284  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing all my savings! on: December 13, 2017, 06:52:05 AM
Hello guys! I am planning on investing all my savings (12500$) in cryptocurrency, so I would really like to hear your opinion. My current plan is to split it in to 3 :
-50% bitcoin.
-25% ethereum.
-25% litecoin.

I am investing the money at the next dip.
Please post your opinion guys.

Edit: I should mention that this is for a longtherm hold, about 5-10 years

Sorry for my bad english, but I am better reading it than writing it.. :p

Investing all of your money is a big move and a pretty much risky move but it is up to you. I agree that youbare gonna diversify you investment because investing all into one coin is not advisable especially if that involves a large amount of money. Then i am advising you to lessen the amount that you will invest on litecoins because i do not feel that they will boom in the future kist 15% for them then buy another coins or  ethereum if you want.
285  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I grow my btc? on: December 11, 2017, 01:38:20 PM
Hey guys I'm not sure if this is the right place so please tell me if it is not. With that out of the way, I have a question for you all. I have recently been able to gather about .5 btc through minor trading and I was wondering if there was any method or way to grow this btc into a larger amount safely and fairly quickly. Thanks!

There are a lot of ways actually but all of them are too much risky especially investing in some icos because there are a lot of icos out there that are just a scam. But for me the most safest way is to just hold your bitcoins into your wallet and just start gaining bitcoins again and that is what you called a hard but safe way. There are a lot of ways to gain bitcoins you can be in a signature or bounty campaigns which are very in demand this time because of high profits.
286  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: December 10, 2017, 08:51:12 PM

Somehow it can be, how they can end the world poverty? By them being profitable by all the people in the world people can manage to get some profits to gain some money in them. And those who are unemployed people they can go all in on this thing because this is lile an online job so working in this gonna make those unemployed an employee in this thing and it is pretty easy tp gain money in this. So by decreasing the unemployment rate is also gonna decrease the poverty
287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: December 09, 2017, 01:49:04 AM
Bitcoin is something radically new. Nothing like Bitcoin has been possible until now. I would go so far as to consider it sui generis; "in its own class".  This makes it important to understand what Bitcoin actually is before we try to describe it to others.

We're getting a good handle on the code, and of course on Bitcoin's function and utility, but what words should we use to describe Bitcoin itself? There has been some debate in other threads [mostly my doing] over how it is like/not like money, cash, dollars, etc. I'd like to start this thread by focusing on the term "money", and play Devil's avocate by asking for your best arguments that Bitcoin IS money.

My legal dictionary states "In usual and ordinary acceptation it [money] means gold, silver, or paper money, used as circulating medium of exchange, and does not embrace notes, bonds, evidences of debt, or other personal or real estate." [cites omitted]

Wikipedia says "Money is any object that is generally accepted as payment for goods and services and repayment of debts in a given country or socio-economic context. The main functions of money are distinguished as: a medium of exchange; a unit of account; a store of value; and, occasionally, a standard of deferred payment." [cited omitted]

Webster's Online Dictionary defines money as:
    • 1. The most common medium of exchange; functions as legal tender; "we tried to collect the money he owed us".
    • 2. Wealth reckoned in terms of money; "all his money is in real estate".
    • 3. The official currency issued by a government or national bank; "he changed his money into francs".
    • 4. A piece of metal, as gold, silver, copper, etc., coined, or stamped, and issued by the sovereign authority as a medium of exchange in financial transactions between citizens and with government; also, any number of such pieces; coin.
    • 5. Any written or stamped promise, certificate, or order, as a government note, a bank note, a certificate of deposit, etc., which is payable in standard coined money and is lawfully current in lieu of it; in a comprehensive sense, any currency usually and lawfully employed in buying and selling.
    • 6. In general, wealth; property; as, he has much money in land, or in stocks; to make, or lose, money.
    [links omitted]
    [/list]

I maintain that per these definitions, Bitcoin cannot possibly be described as "money". And further, I think that those who do describe Bitcoin as "money" are doing this community a disservice.

But that is just my point of view. Are there any that can convincingly argue otherwise, that Bitcoin IS money?

At first no bitcoins is not a money because no one knows i lt and no one is accepting it. But today bitcoins are highly accepted even the banks are accepting it in exchange to money a real currency so today i can say that bitcoins is a money because there are some stores that are accepting bitcoin as a payment. Before ypu can never see a food chain that are accepting bitcoins but today moe of them are here. Not all are accepting but still there are some.
288  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: December 08, 2017, 12:44:52 PM
i had about $200 worth of bitcoin.
How can i earn more with that amount?
should I trading? or make an investment?
and please give me some trusted site to investing my wealth.

**i dont want to give a loan, or else.**

if you had some advice, feel free to tell me.
    really apreciate it.
    thank you.

They are both good and in this business you can always do both so why do you keep on comparing them and choosing which of which.  You can invest and at the same time do a trading. First just save some money like for example save some bitcoins in trading trade some of those coins amd when you earn some money then that is the time tbat you can do investment and trading invest all of your savings and do trading while doing it
289  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you see trading as fun and games? on: December 07, 2017, 10:05:47 PM
“One thing very good traders have is insight into themselves.” - Chris Tate

    FUN AND GAMES
Recently Louise Bedford and I have been doing the Short Term Trading Magic seminars in a few places and it has been sometime since I did any form of presentation on a semi regular basis. As such it has been interesting to observe people as they work through various trading issues.

One of the things I have noted is that people take trading far too seriously and this is reflected in a form of desperation. Desperation is the antithesis of the state of mind you need to be in to trade effectively.

There is no deny that this is a phase everyone enters at some stage in their career but to be successful you need to move beyond this and begin to treat trading as the game that it is. Once I started treating trading as a game then it became so much easier on the soul and my results reflected this. I even have a t-shirt that says that the fewer fucks I give the more I make.

This is not to say that I am reckless but rather that I am in no way wedded to the outcome of any trade. At its core my life will not change if a trade or even a cluster of trades are winners or losers – they are simply not that important. When compared to real life, trading is nowhere near as important as people think it is.

It is often commented that children are better are learning new things than adults who seem set in their ways. I am not so certain that this is a reflection of any great cognitive superiority or plasticity that the young may have but rather a reflection of their willingness to be both wrong and to play. Young children have no ego therefore the mistakes that their play generate have no impact upon their sense of self-worth. As adults we lose this resilience because we believe that it is somehow catastrophic to our self-image if we do make mistakes.

But in trading your mistakes are your own – no one else can see them so you are insulated from the judgment of others. This isolation gives you the freedom to be wrong but the only thing you have to cope with is your own judgment.

Markets are a wonderful universes for exploration and for play. The presence of micro contracts in various instruments and online trading mean that you experiment very cheaply.

The price of admission to the fun park is much lower than it used to be and the number of rides has gone through the roof. It is a shame that more traders don’t view trading as little more than a theme park where you can play to your heart’s content and during the process of playing you learn much more than you would if you were consumed by seriousness and desperation.

    More trading quotes are below:

“To my way of thinking trading is an internal endeavour – there is no external enemy who you can deceive or overpower since markets only exist in the most ephemeral way inside your head. Markets may appear to be physical constructs but they are largely an illusion, trading occurs inside your head where your own perceptions and distortions of reality influence your decision making.” – Chris Tate

“The one thing you shouldn't feel pressured about is trading. If you do feel that way, you probably need to take a step back and reassess. Pressured trade(r)s don't make good trade(r)s.” – Joe Ross

No i do not see this as a fun or games because if you are looking for that youbare definitely looking for gambling becausebthat is what the game looks like. This is more likely a job or a work for me because I gained money in them and I am working for them. Being a fun means like you do not care if you lose money or not but here the money itself you needed it so i do not spend much time trading i spend much time to gain biunty coins that i will later traded on
290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: December 06, 2017, 10:04:02 PM
Anyone bought drugs with bitcoin and what are you thought on the subject ?

i know i have used bitcoin to buy psilocybe cubensis thank you bitcoin i cold have not done this without you now i can trip watching corry & eastenders in the evening its such a sight.

I do not buy any drugs yet either money or bitcoins but i know that it is possible to buy drugs using bitcoins i have red that before in an article saying that in the deep web you can have an any illegal transaction without even getting caought because of being decentralized of it. So you can buy drugs illegal activities and even hitmans you can hire them using bitcoins as a payment so it means those bad people are noe rich because of the high pump of bitcoins.
291  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Patience and Holding on: December 06, 2017, 01:15:00 PM
Ive been wrong that i withdraw all my earnings on trading ..
i learned that ..must have patience in holding then exchanging it times 10 from the day I bought my alts..
hmm .. too bad for me now bitcoins is still aiming high ..

That is the most difficult thing that everyone encounters patience and holding. Because most of the people always wanted to receive their money immediately so they end up getting almost nothing because bit all coins are successful admit that so what we supposed to do for those coins we need to hold it for a while then when the price rise again then we will now sell it in a mich higher price. Because in trading we need to be wise and fo not be contented on something that is lower.
292  Economy / Economics / Re: When is the right time to buy bitcoin ? on: December 05, 2017, 10:41:34 PM
After the recent news re. BTC China and regulators crackdown on cryptocurrency trading, we all know which direction bitcoin and alt coins are currently heading. I wish to buy Bitcoin and Altcoin when they hit the floor, but i am unsure of when the right time is to enter?

Whenever you have some extra money in your pocket you better buy bitcoins but honestly we need to buy bitcoins when we saw that it is red in the market but not totally downfall that much just a fall in the market because we all know bitcoins they always fall a little bit but they always rise again with amother record breaking reaching for almost $11k so if you can buy bitcoins for a little bit cheaper price when it pumps your money will rise more.
293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin the most popular cryptocurrency? on: December 05, 2017, 12:20:53 PM
I believe that they're popular mainly because well it was the first of all cryptocurrencies to be made. Honestly most of the other coins are scams and greedy ways that the developers make money. The only other coin I can think of that isn't a scam are dogecoins! What do you think?

Maybe because they are the pioneer in this thing so that the advantage or the perks of being the first in something they achieve all and gain all the attention and the credibility of the people especially businessmen. Because of being the only one before a lot of people have no variety untill they built up the trust so people do not want to try something new they always stick to whats safe and reliable. And besides the value of bitcoins are too much unbelievable that is why they are famous.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you choose to hold Bitcoin or Ethereum? on: December 02, 2017, 10:02:41 AM
The recent bitcoin price volatility is particularly large, but the price of eth has been very stable, you choose to buy eth or bitcoin?
     Tongue Tongue Tongue

I choose to hold them both because i wanted to have double profit and besides we can always do them both or even all of the possible successful cryptocurrencies ethereum is more on long term investment so I also imvest in them I choose to hold them because i knew that in the near future they will also grow and it is also a backup thing if bitcoins will come to an end at least we have another investment to reky on

I totally do not know on how would you control your emotions that is yourself not mine so the only one who can tell you how to control it is you. You just need to have a lot of self discipline and patience because in this business not everyday it is christmas there are some time that you will encounter some bad day loss of money and a lot more but despite of all of it we beed to be strong and think positive to lessen the bad vides and wrong decisions.
296  Economy / Economics / Re: Difference of Trading and Investing? on: December 01, 2017, 09:39:07 AM
Guys sorry for this question above but I would like to ask here that

What is the difference of Trading to Investing?

though I know that I can search it in google but I want an answer from those people who have already experienced this two.
    Thank you.

I hope you can help me in my confusion..

For me the trading is more on an active income because it need a lots of attention in monitoring the value of the coins almost everyday and trafimg it im the market so it involves strategic skills amd being wise. While investment on the other hand, is more in a passive income because by simply holding bitcoins or other coins when they pumps the value of you r holdings will also pump so that is an investment for me and that does not beed a lot of attention.

    Bitcoin brings us all Freedom

    A beginner's guide to bitcoin

    http://www.coindesk.com/information/

     Bitcoin is Freedom
     ---------------------

Bitcoin is Freedom from oppression, exploitation & tyranny by Banksters.

From cradle to grave we have all been financial debt slaves through the debt based fiat currency schemes that should have long ago been outlawed.

Bitcoin offers People an avenue of Safe Haven that assures a fiscally disciplined currency.

Bitcoin is vastly superior to traditional fiat currency schemes.

Bitcoin brings all Peoples Freedom by forcing Decentralized Monetary Competition, and by doing that it will eventually force governments to become fiscally disciplined with their monetary matters, or suffer monetary failures repeatedly until they do.

Bitcoin will ultimately free governments from their Bankster Masters (each countries Central Bank) when governments finally re-learn to print and issue their own debt-free currencies, while abolishing their existing Central Banks powers and controls over them. This will hopefully occur as the present system fails and governments finally realize they hold all the cards, not the Banksters.

    So simply put:

     Bitcoin is Freedom
     ---------------------

    Smiley

Yes bitcoins gives us freedom not unlike our real money our currency they all have third party like taxes and fees and a lot more. Bitcoins do not have that they are decentralized which means governments have nothing to do eith all of the happenings in the money and they can never know what do you do on your money when do you do transactions everything is very secured in this thing. And it makes us a chance to have an investment too.
298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Are Now Used in Crimes on: November 30, 2017, 03:38:17 AM
Bitcoins has regained its strong value, As of this posting, the value per 1 bitcoin is exactly 4786.59 US Dollar.   Soon we will see more ways people can squeeze the most out of bitcoins.   Since the advent of the internet to be profit oriented in the 90's, no one would possibly have imagined that the Internet would breed Facebook, Google, Uber, online streaming, etc. This is where we are with the Blockchain now. There exists a whole world of opportunities out there.

These opportunities have the unrighteous users of this cryptocurrencies to also used its advantage. We cannot deny for a fact that cyber crimes have been committed since the birth of the internet.  Once, stealing was done with having guns, now, robbers can easily hack bank accounts or counterfeit credit cards to their advantage.  Sooner, cryptocurrencies can be used to pay crimes such as services for creating counterfeit birth certificates and this is not far from happening.  Actually, the US has already cases on this matter.

Another is the crime of buying illegal-drug emporium that used Bitcoin as a medium of exchange, politicians and policymakers took notice. Criminals, it turns out, really like bitcoins, which can be exchanged for nefarious purposes on the "Dark Web," with complete anonymity and, it seems, impunity.

Although, there are some articles that i have read regarding criminals cannot hide behind bitcoins, still, there are difficulties tracing transactions using cryptocurrencies. That is why law enforcement agencies should have a to change their procedures to pursue criminals who make use of the latest technology to commit crimes. Let the law find a way to evolve to address new tech challenges. There is no reason to expect that law enforcement won’t be able to get a handle on this new cybercrime.

I have also red that thing in about a year ago before I knew about this forum thaf there are a digital currency which is bitcoins that are used to buy all the illegal thing in the world because of them being a decentralized currency the government cannot track those transactions that are happening and they can never know that there will be any transactions not unless someone told them to. But yes bitcoins is used by crime like that but it is a long time ago.
299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safest way to keep bitcoins? on: November 29, 2017, 11:57:31 PM
What is the safest way to keep bitcoins.

Taken dangers like hacking, losing in to account!

The technology today is increasing  a lot so as the securities of our wallet because so far I do not heard about a bitcoins stealing from.anyones wallet and I do not even experience that and my friends. So for me our wallet is safe but if you really have a lot of bitcoins like a lot you probably wanted to place it into an offline wallet like a harddrive and that cannot be hacked because it is offline not unless the hacker will go and steal that drive.
    300  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do I hold? on: November 29, 2017, 01:36:31 PM
I have recently took investing on poloniex serious. Ever since I've invested the alt coins have been down. Do the amount of coins I posses go up if I stay. Also, do I have to wait for the coins to go back to their original price that I bought fo in order to make a profit? What are the reasons to holding if prices are down? Thank-you.

It depends men, I do not fully know what coins you buy ao I cannot advice that much. But if you noticed that the value alqays drops for a months and never pumped even a single time in a month probably those coins will not pumped anymore for me. But for now lets just be optimistic and think about the things that they can grow with just a patience.
