281  Economy / Economics / Re: Beliefs about money and wealth on: February 25, 2018, 04:09:50 AM
Everyones hasn diferent beliefs about money and wealth. See for example 35 different ways of thinking about it here:
https://daringtolivefully.com/powerful-beliefs-about-money

One famous author, not my favourite, yet an influential one is Robert Kyosaki. In his book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad", he examines two different beliefs and states that those believes will shape your success.

What of these do you agree with? What other beliefs do you have about money?

1 - Millionaires are greedy, that is why they become millionaires.
2 - Company managers just want to use the workers to make themselves rich and others poor.
3 - Having money is a question of luck, if not of "gods grace".
4 - Debt is always bad.
5 - To make money, you just need to have a great idea nobody thought off.
6 - Cryptos are the way to make money and be successful without having to put effort into it.
7 - To become rich I just have to believe in Bitcoin because many people have become rich doing that.
8 - To become rich I just have to be more clever and streetwise than everyone around to get my share of the cake.

Your turn to think ...

(EDIT: These are NOT my beliefs, at least not necessarily, is just a list to think. Is not the list by Robert K. either.)
I do agree some of these beliefs ,millionaires become more rich because they don't follow their emotions that easy they always follow their intellect that is why they are been called greedy for them it's always mind over emotion.
Only few people i know that don't have a debt and for me it is not bad just to make it sure you know how to pay in my country there are lots of people who can be lend money but you also have to pay the capital with interest and some people become rich because of that.

Yes,crypto is profitable it may make us rich but we will exert so much effort and we have so much to learned about here. Earning money is never been easy. We canno't be rich in just one click of our fingers.
282  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is bitcoin banned in India? on: February 24, 2018, 05:01:00 PM
Are Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency banned in India and its neighbouring countries?

Although India controls the currency, bitcoin is not illegal and people can trade it.

India is about to launch its own currency, and I think it's profitable to encrypt it.
I pass by an article in the  internet and i saw a list that India was also one of the countries banned bitcoin that was i thought first and i was wrong. Well India did not banned yet bitcoin but it wasn't acceptable as an legal tender, the government committee of India are still having a meeting of what they will gonna do about Bitcoin.

284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not a currency? on: February 22, 2018, 09:23:31 AM
I found a video on YouTube https://youtu.be/qTxPfxmkLIY that according to this man (Warren Buffett) said "Bitcoin doesn't meet the definition of a currency" and he said that "he would not be surprised if bitcoin is not around in 10 or 20 years".

Is he a hater of bitcoin? while other big names appreciate the bitcoin.

Your thoughts?
It is his own opinion there are still people who don't accept bitcoin they maybe hate it but let them and don't argue with people who have that kind of mindset .As we know the real truth what is bitcoin.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with the rewards you received? on: February 22, 2018, 03:57:50 AM
I am familiar with people who also participate in generosity companies. Some of them do not rush to sell received Tokines, others on the contrary, immediately after the issue of tokens the exchange is sold. My friend advised me to send them to EtherDelta. When receiving tokens, place orders for the sale of x2 - x10 (depending on the project) and just wait until they are purchased.
What do you do with the received tokens?
One of the bounties i joined payed me and that token is already in the coinmarket i feel so sad because i don't know where i put my private key in that wallet i've made. I still hold to my other coin hoping that it will be valuable and profitable someday.
286  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: February 22, 2018, 03:07:14 AM
Of course, you just put your money in bitcoin to grow here and if you put your money in the bank you just got the money, you and you just keep your money in your pocket.

I got your point but i'm a little bit to disagree.YES it is true that if we put our money in banks it gives only small percent to grow not like in BITCOIN but think of it if you put it all to btc where are you going to get for your daily needs?asking to your friends or family??isn't it shameful for you?before you decide see to it you have extra money to live day by day while btc working for what you invest.

288  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: February 22, 2018, 12:43:56 AM
why so many people store their bitcoin in their wallet for a long time, whether the benefits will they get?

Come share your thoughts

The reason why lots of people holding their bitcoin in their wallet because they already observe how it flows, bitcoin started in a very low value but now it is more than we expect .Hold it and sell when the price is high or you can also keep holding.
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should we prepare to give cryptocurrencies to our family after we die? on: February 21, 2018, 10:09:18 PM

Maybe some of you just think about investing money and gaining/enjoying profits, but I always think about death  Cry

After I read a recent news article, who couldn't get their son's cryptocurrencies after their son's death,

I am now thinking about what should I do to give my cryptocurrencies to my family after my death?

Give me some suggestions!!!

Im all ears!!

My opinion is you can write down all your keys into a notebook and put it in a safety box or make a file on your computer so when the time comes that you die your family can track all your money that you kept in your wallet but i am hoping that there's one family members of yours have an idea about crypto so he/she can understand all the things you write.
290  Other / Meta / Re: how merit works? on: February 21, 2018, 03:22:54 AM
Merit is a new rule implemented in this forum. Merit is needed for you to be promoted. If you are a newbie you can be promoted to Junior Member even without merits but if from jr. member to Member, you must earn 10 merits and from member to Full member you need 100 merits in all to be promoted so on and so fort.
I agree with you mate, this is how merit works ..You will only be promoted base on your activity and merit you canno't rank up if ever you canno't receive any merits from others. The best thing we could do is to do our best and improve our way on posting on yhe thread.

292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why not play games online instead of gambling? on: February 20, 2018, 02:21:35 PM
Many but not all gamblers are claiming they gamble for fun and pass time. I was just thinking. If it is the reason why people gamble then why not play online games? There is a lot of good and challenging onlne games wherein you can interact with other people online?
I want to gamble in actual i want to interact with my oponent,i want to enjoy my day to be with them not in online. For me it is more challenging and intense in actual ,you can see every emotions of each opponents you play with. I tried to play online but i felt bored.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you even read whitepaper bro? on: February 20, 2018, 01:06:51 PM
Let be real. How many of you guys actually read the whitepaper? I read whitepaper sometimes, but reading multiple of them can be a burden and a headache. Do you guys got any tips on getting through whitepaper a little faster. It killing a lot of time. Thank.
Honestly i seldom read the white paper and i only read the important matters in it i know it is good to read the white paper for us to know and gather information about the project. This is the way you can determine if the project is scam or not.
294  Economy / Economics / Re: crypto market demand is increasing on: February 20, 2018, 08:09:00 AM

295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you day trade or prefer a long term hold? on: February 18, 2018, 10:38:13 PM
So I'm slowly going into crypto and I want to know if any of you trade altcoins daily, or you prefer to hold it for long term? What do you think it's better and why?

Thanks
As of now i prefer to hold longer because i still don't have any idea about day trading and i heard it is risky, also you need to have a big capital to start day trading..Sooner if i can have enough funds i want to try it but before that i should read and be expert.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Choose a Good ICO on: February 18, 2018, 03:28:55 PM
It is very hard to distinguish that right now. But I guess you will have to research deep on the team behind them. Also you can differentiate them by what the goal of the project at the end and what really are their intention.

Exactly it's so hard to identify if the ICO is good or not, the best thing we can do is to have a research and observe if the people behind the project is active in every quiry of the participants also read the white paper and the road maps there are lots to consider to know if the ICO will be successful.
297  Economy / Speculation / Re: Holding will be a risk or not?? on: February 18, 2018, 02:37:14 PM
Investing in bitcoin is a risk, as the value can crash tomorrow.
I'm holding too so far, I believe in what bitcoin represents, so I'm taking the risk. Don't invest more than what you can afford to lose however, but if you can, you should buy more.
Also have a look in other cryptocurrencies.
Truth it is risky but it is about how you take the risk and handle everytime the value crashed also if you want to hold longer always think the positive way and believe that it will give you more profit. I also hold my btc until now because i strongly believe that it will give me more money soon.
298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy when market is Red on: February 18, 2018, 11:44:09 AM
Buy when market is Red, a trick to successful trading. Also dont put buy orders ahead of time.
Definitely true,it is the best time to buy coins when the market is red. You can buy it in low price then hold until the market is green, buy the best coin you think that you can get more profit or it is profitable.
299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too late to invest in cryptos if you're old? on: February 18, 2018, 08:09:52 AM
What would you guys advise someone who is retired, living off pension and savings? Is it too late/risky to invest at that kind of age?
Do you guys think the elderly have a chance of jumping on the crypto train, or do you guys think it's too late for them to invest?

It is not too late for the old ones to invest in crypto as long as they have knowledge about how to use the new technology and they also have an idea about crypto. What makes them hard if they will jump here and nobody can assist them or can give them proper lesson about this. Its hard to invest into something which you don't know nothing.
300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Bitcoin? on: February 18, 2018, 12:23:27 AM
I personally know quite a bit about Bitcoin. However, this thread is for the community here. The idea is every post should contain NEW info which hasn't previously been posted in this thread.

For example, I will start with the obvious: Bitcoin is internet money

Is this a perfect explanation? Of course not. This is where you come in.

Please post the most detailed aspects about Bitcoin you know, without repeating any info previously posted in this thread.

The idea is as we scroll down, the discussion should get continually more complicated as we dig further into the technology, development, history, etc.

Make sense?

So I will repeat the starting point: Bitcoin is internet money

Bitcoin is a digital and the first currency, it was invented under the name of Mr. Satoshi Nakamoto and created in 2009. Bitcoin can be transact all over the world with out knowing the identity of individual also.It has the most highest value and the top 1 of the list in the coinmarketcap.
