281  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is technical analysis useful? on: July 19, 2018, 05:32:09 PM
Do you believe in the reliability of information obtained by technical analysis on crypto-currency market?

Yes it is useful especially for those who base the decision of trading in technical analysis. Through it, we would be able to check the potential and capability of coins to rise or when to hodl and when to sell. It is just a matter of stills and understanding on how to basically understand it.
282  Economy / Economics / Re: Becoming wealthy and social responsibility on: July 16, 2018, 04:18:44 PM
While I don't have many posts. I got involved in Bitcoin in 2013 and joined this forum in 2014. While I do not consider myself wealthy from Bitcoin yet. I do have an idea of how I would like to direct some of this new found wealth. I think most of the people who got involved early got involved for the right reasons. IE: To change the world and move humanity out of the control of the bankers. I am concerned that the new people coming may only be in to make money. I hope I am wrong, I really want this technology to be a force of good in the world and deliver economic freedom to the masses and the unbanked. My hope is everyone who was early, has some idea in mind that will help others. Maybe help your family, or a charity that you think isn't wasting money, or building a community swimming pool etc. If you have a lot of money think big and how you can change the world for the better. This is our chance!

I certainly agree with you and admire you for having that suggestion. Lucky are those who started early in crypto world because they've got the chance to know how good digital currency and they've got the opportunity to earn a good gain which gave them a chance to earn early and the capability to help as well.
283  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you do during blood waves? on: July 16, 2018, 03:40:07 PM
In such moments I like to open cryptofeels.net and watch all that red (and few green) charts flying around with "after-death music" background, try it  Grin This one relax me somehow. And what do you do during dumps? Do you continue to trade or take pause?

Since we can't do anything to change the current situation of the market, I believe that it is best to keep calm and try to have more patience. Doubting and being impatient won't help us grow as traders but we should just take the situation as a challenge to test our patience and willingness to wait.
284  Economy / Economics / Re: Does money make you rich? on: July 14, 2018, 06:31:06 PM
To me the answer is No. Money alone doesn't make an individual rich. A lot of people go to work everyday, working for money and making more money, but fail to become richer. Ironically, many only grow deeper in debt.we have all heard stories of lottery winners who are instantly poor again. Also there are cases of real estate going into foreclosure instead of making homeowners richer. We all know of persons who have lost money investing in the stock market. Maybe you are one of those individuals who have lost money investing on cryptocurrency,Bitcoin to be precise. Even investing in gold(real money) can cost the investor money

For all intents and purposes, it is not business, estates, stocks, bitcoin (crypto currency) or money that makes a person rich. It is information, wisdom, knowledge that makes one wealthy.

I think yes but not completely wealthy because money can't buy everything. Maybe we could be rich in material things but what will we do with our money if we're not happy with the way we live? It is happiness and love from the people around us that makes us rich. It's happiness that counts after all.
285  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Do People Dump Their Precious Tokens With Ridiculous Low Price on: July 14, 2018, 05:38:42 PM
As a natural deal in the market, sellers always want to sell high and buyers always want to buy low. But the reverse seem the case with those sellers who dump their Crypto coin or tokens for some very low and ridiculous price. Thus that's not a natural market deal. What really is the reason why people dump? Have they got enough crypto gains that they need no profits no more?

We can't blame some people for selling their tokens at too low prices because sometimes, they use it for emergency purposes that they ignore their loses because of their needs. Some people also sells at low prices because their tokens' value are decreasing and we can't also blame them for that.
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel now? on: July 14, 2018, 04:36:30 PM
I can hear nothing but the sighs of coin developers, crypto investors, traders and even bounty managers & hunters in this forum, Telegram groups. I can also hear the sound of silence from crypto enthusiasts, specialists, speakers or even crypto millionaires. I can even hear the terrible voices from crypto believers, gentlemen, ladies. I realize that Mr market makers are too greedy, dangerous and malicious. We are Nemo fishes and we have nothing to do but staring our money have been gradually gone with the wind.  Cry
What are you feeling now? Share your thoughts

In this kind of situation, we can't deny the fact that some hodlers are really being impatient because trading would really be a risk for most of us these days since the market is down. I feel the same way at times though I am trying my best to have patience. I believe that the best thing to do is to keep calm and just be willing to wait for the right time to trade.
287  Economy / Economics / Re: Know Your Customer on: July 09, 2018, 06:00:04 PM
For exchanges, ICOs that collect KYC information, when are they required to send information to the government.

If I remember correctly, in the US if you make a money transaction, such as through Western Union, or bank, $3,000+, within the same day, or smaller amounts during consecutive days, the institution must collect your ID information and Social Security and report it to the government. I forget which entity of the government.

Does that mean that if one participates in an ICO and puts in over $3,000, that gets reported to the government? Or if you move $3,000 out of an exchange, that gets reported?

I don't think so, I think it is still hard for the government to track different transactions involving bitcoin. Also, people releasing with such amount is too smart to handle it already, they know what to do to get rid of being checked or hold by banks or by the government.
288  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to handle tough times in cryptocurrency? on: July 09, 2018, 05:32:09 PM
We are indeed the tough times of trading or investment in cryptocurrency. After the ATH of Bitcoin last year, we are now at the stalemate at 10K USD mark for almost 2 weeks and no sign of going up. I was thinking to hold for as long as I can since I believe in crypto.

If you’re at the losing position what is the best thing to do?

I won't lose hope and would continue to strive for what I want here in crypto. I am a person who would want to earn better through crypto so I have entrusted my future finances and plans in it. I strongly believe that it won't fail me so I am just patiently waiting for the best time.
289  Economy / Economics / Re: Predictions Markets? on: July 09, 2018, 04:04:48 PM
Does anyone here use prediction markets?
Or have experience building one?

Augur has gone down hill, so I set one up myself:
NINJA
Link: https://ninja.org/

I myself don't believe im any predictions anymore. As for me, it us just follow or look into the changes based on chart. Listening to different predictions might just lead us to confusions or wrong decision making. We should have our own way of thinking.
290  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you trade? on: July 09, 2018, 03:02:41 PM
How do you trade? Do you still follow the buy low and sell high? Are you still looking on the charts to predict the future value of the coin? Or Do you just use your instinct and trade base on the volume?  Some people are still panicking if their coins go dip and just sell it before they lose greater sum of money. People whose enemy is their own emotions. For me I am studying the charts of the coins which has a high potential to pump even though I'm not sure if it woll really pump. If not, I'm just holding it until it does. I am controlling my emotions and think calmly so that I can resuce the mistakes that I may done with my decisions. How about you?

I trade when I am ready. I always follow the buy low and sell high strategy that's why I am still hodling in my present situation. I believe that patience is still the key. As I set my target goal here in crypto, I also keep my emotions controlled. I trade when I think I won't have any regrets.
291  Economy / Economics / Re: When the government forbids cryptocurrency on: July 08, 2018, 06:59:24 PM
When the government forbids cryptocurrency

In my country, the government is gradually apply internet and cryptocurrency control decrees. Previously, they banned direct Bitcoin transactions. Currently, they are banning crypto-related bank transfers. And of course, ICOS is also gradually banned .
Initially, they said they would not ban crypto and bitcoin. But now their actions show that they do not want crypto to exist.
Is their purpose not to secure crypto investors? They are trying to make it their own
They see huge profits being lost for themselves
And when the internet management program took place in my country, maybe I could not come up here to share my views like this. So sad

A lot of people in our country would be in trouble because some crypto users here have it as a primary source of income. A lot of people might lose their provider. However, I think that it is still too impossible for our country to control crypto where in fact, they are starting to adopt it.
292  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade is more a lucky thing or skill on: July 02, 2018, 04:50:51 PM
I'm not sure if I have time to play with charts and trade a lot, like I have seen some youtubers doing.
They make you really believe that is more like a skill and if you are good at it, it works.
My friend told me that is just about how lucky you are, and not a skill.
So, should I stick with holding or playing day trade is a better option?

As for me, it would be needing both skill and luck. We can't do day trading without enough skills because if we won't know what we are doing, we might fail and have losses. Also, it would be needing a combination of luck because it is also like a wild guessing a day.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Good alt or stay away? on: July 02, 2018, 04:31:13 PM
Hi everyone, I've been around for a while now..
I've seen a lot of posts positive and negative about Ethereum.

At the moment I am holding Bitcoins, but I have invested in some Ether as well.

Now I am wondering, what are legitimate concerns about Ether (except for IPO, as I've already read this in a lot of posts).

So can anyone bring real other issues to the table, to enlighten me (and maybe a lot of other readers?)

Thanks!

We all know that ethereum has passed all the tests of time just as bitcoin did. As we look back to it's previous value, we would be able to notice how it changed and strike to reach it's highest value. We should not doubt about it but we should just continue hodling and just wait for the best result.
294  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I wish I dump all the BTC in late DEC 2017 on: July 02, 2018, 03:11:41 PM
what a year, wish I dump all the coin in late DEC lol

and today, spend the 100% from that capital and bought it again, so u still holding the same amount as late DEC while steady with the 900% profits..

Don't regret about that too much because things will get better. I believe that the market would reach higher as it did before. It would strike higher in the last quarter of the year so we must continue hodling and wait for the pumo of it. Don't stop in having regrets.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what to do when the market is weakening now on: July 02, 2018, 07:23:31 AM
the current crypto market is so weak, there is no increase in the price of crypto, even the price of crypto is getting down, what should we do when the market weaken at this time?

As the market weakens , we should not be weak about it as well. It is important that we'll all know that the changes is just a part of it's votality. The market might fall but it always rises in the end so we have nothing to fear about but be hopeful and have the courage to wait more.
296  Economy / Economics / Re: Wise thing to do with your savings. on: July 02, 2018, 05:42:04 AM
I see that many of you actually liked the concept of 20 % method wherein you allot 20% of your earnings to be saved as emergency fund.
So I was thinking, if that 20% allotted will be invested in a time deposit kind of account, will it still be possible to earn as much or invest it in cryptocurrency? Or maybe just let the money sleep until such time you will need it?
What will be a wise kove to do with the noney you have saved up?

I am just planning to put it into another investment because it is best to make a good gain out of our savings. Rather than storing it if were not using it, then it is important that were earning from it. I believe that we might sometimes be needing money and having an investment is an advantage.
297  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is going down on: July 01, 2018, 11:54:01 PM
I think bitcoin dip going until 5300$ range Which is strong support. But Sometime it will dip beyond the previous high But It will happen because of FUDS or bad news.
What is your opinion guys, Where it will stop

I don't doubt about bitcoin or fear about it's dip because I find it normal because it is volatile. I believe that there os nothing for us to fear about because it is just a part of it's changes and it would still go back to it's normal value in time
We must just have more patience and positivity.
298  Economy / Economics / Re: Beside Cryptocurrenices where would you invest? on: June 25, 2018, 02:46:05 PM
A lot of people now days jumping and investing in the cryptocurrency industry.
If you are not investing in crypto, where do you else invest?
Property ? normal crowdfunding? give your input

If I wouldn't invest in cryptocurrency, I won't invest in any other company because I find it risky if it is not crypto. I would just use my savings and earnings to put up a small business so that I would surely manipulate and handle my capital in a way that I want it to grow.
299  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My new trading strategy, what's yours? on: June 25, 2018, 01:58:50 PM
Buying and holding coins is not as profitable as it was used to be.
Thus, I decided to be working and investing in promising ICOs.
Once the ICO is over I normally sell all the coins/tokens.

I recently discovered, few weeks after the ICO the value of coins/tokens normally drop by a minimum of 30% - so that is my entry level again.
Meaning once I noticed that, I'll just go ahead and rebuy the same coins/tokens at cheaper rates. By doing that, I can make lots of profits.
Share with us what you think about my latest strategy, thanks Smiley

Well that is a great idea and I thank you for sharing it. It is still just like a buy low and sell high strategy. Through buying at low value , we would be able to have a good gain by hodling in time. Thriugh that strategy, you could really earn a good gain. However, we must always choose good ICOs.
300  Economy / Economics / Re: Why all people moan about the price of bitcoin? on: June 24, 2018, 02:41:40 PM
The forum is full of topics - “When Will Bitcoin Be Back To $...”, “Why BTC is under $...?”, “Final bottom at $...”, “Why BTC is down again?”, “Bitcoin will rise again ?” etc. The last two topics may appear in various forms  a dozen times a day.
I looked at graph price of BTC out of curiosity. I have noted to the price floor:

2015 - $200+
2016 - $300+
2017 - $700+
2018 - $5000+

Do you see something frightening in it?

We all can see that price drops because of actions by a Governments and big whales. Because they have the means and opportunities. They want to break into the our market on advantageous terms for them. Okay, well, I mean, that makes sense. We knew it would happen. But why that have to affect us?

In December 2017, the most people said - "Why I didn't buy BTC for $500… for $1000… f#ck it!.. for $2000...", "I will definitely buy BTC if it costs $7k-6k!..". But now when the price drops so well for us, we see "The demand for BTC is dropping". Seriously?!

So, instead to take advantage of the situation, buy up coins and altcoins, attract new people in crypto world more active than before, a lot of people stuck in indecision and think whether crypto market falls to the bottom and stays there.

Guys, are you serious? Crypto world is made by us. Governments and big whales haven’t any tricks to rule our world. It will happen only if we do nothing.

What do you think about it?

Bitcoin is actually rising if we'll only notice the changes. I believe that the change that it shows is really great so we have nothing to fear about it. We may doubt about it's dip but we should all know that it is normal since bitcoin is volatile. We must have more patience for it will continue to rise.
