For those of you who, like me, have PHS and CAP and TEK and HBN, I suggest the following: Vote for the highest ranking of them and this one only. Once it will be on the market, then we can get rid of cryptsy for this one (I still have PHS and CAP locked at Cryptsy).. Then focus all your votes on the next one. Not quite true. 3.7M vs 4.7M with an even POW generation rate POS generation will have CAP overtake HBN soon enough. My gut says HBN a better POS rate and CAP a more marketable brand .. but what do I know right Tranz has evened up the playing field with the wallet functionality so we'll all be watching with great interest (pun anyone?) to see this play out over the next year and beyond. Always been a fan of both these coin concepts and I manage holdings in both. |

My goal is to sell 25% of my staking every month. But calculating this is not easy since you get several stakings very fast.
the "Stacked this month" entry would isolate stacking from 1st of month to end of month (technically, not exactly 30 days, but easier to handle). From there, I could easily calculate 25% of it.
Improvement: replace "Stacked this month" with "Stacked this period" and let the user choose the start and stop date.
This would continue to make the HBN wallet one of the best!

This got me thinking. In the MultiBit BTC client you can export you transaction list to .csv - But you can't filter your transaction list in the HBN client you can select "This Week" "This Month" or Date Range etc. and filter transaction type... But you can't C&P or export the entire transaction list. Even if you select all the transactions it will only copy the first date cell. Would be a handy feature and having a sub total box for coin flow in the selected period might be the icing? David I believe you can use stakeforcharity to siphon off a percentage of your stakes to another address but that might not do exactly what you are looking for. **EDIT hahaha wow well I never did see that button hiding up there ... talk about selective blindness. |

No one is dumping into my buy walls, its getting harder to buy blocks of CAP without crossing the market and pumping the price.
Also that 37 BTC buy wall hasn't moved an inch in days. I don't think anyone holds that many CAP to feed that whale.
Don't think anyone is playing much since that wall appeared, what chance is there of buying back anything you sell? Market was vibrant last weeks.. alas no more. *and minutes later it rises to 44btc @.00005508 I'll certainly be leaving the market alone now, got my target balance and no reason to grease those wheels with buys at these levels. Valuing 22% of the money supply at 44.42 BTC I would put a fair market value of CAP at around 25k-30k satoshi per CAP. Considering the Stake Percentage, Existing Money Supply and Developers/Community. I think people are waiting till the hardfork to buy which would be a bad move, these prices are not going to last long. Shame the person(s) behind that wall don't subscribe to that and buy in over time instead of forcing everyone to trade above them with no intention of buying themselves. They already hold plenty. Manipulation irks me - can you tell ? There is absolutely nothing wrong with placing a buy/sell order in at any size or time preference. It is one of the key elements of a functional market. People's opinions don't matter. Personally I think it is a good order (as long as it lasts). It is sending the signal to market participants that there is plenty of demand for the coin and plenty of liquidity. There would have to be massive exodus from CAP to move that order. Seriously, I thought you knew better than that. Anyway to me it's so unsubtle that its telling me the complete opposite. Perhaps I'm getting long in the tooth and cynical. It's killing liquidity (and volatility which I was quite frankly making happy bank on - hence my faux upset  ) and leads me to feel herded along as a trader instead of being in control of my own choices and free to jump on opportunity (as I see them). At the first touch of a decent sized sell we'lll see it disappear completely and it looks like there is no real appetite at these levels (YET!) The book is thin I agree on above valuations in time but there is work to do and a few months to wait yet before POS properly kicks in. But hey I could be wrong. I can't lose either way now but it's going to be less fun as it plays out. |

Weird. I just tried it with Win 7 built in, and win rar. Both give me an error. Maybe something during the download, not sure. But I tried it from 2 computers as well. WinRAR gave me errors (unknown method) 7-Zip worked fine |

Ghostlander has been very helpful to the Crypto community. He has saved 2 coins from sure demise. PXC and ORB. Both of which had big issues with permine and other problems, none of which were of his doing. Don't be so hasty to judge. You may miss out on a opportunity.
e Perhaps I should qualify, I'm not laughing at Ghostlander or any of his efforts, rather that original Orbit thread and his exquisite comment on mathematical skill. Nicely understated indeed. Sorry if it appears that way. |

Come on people, you're so obsessed with this 200% annual PoS coming. Those patches brought up by Tranz are more important because they put this slow and buggy CAP wallet back in business. By the way, Orbitcoin delivers up to 75% PoS per month now at the current 0.005 PoS difficulty and supposed to do about 500% compound per year in the long run considering 5% every 10 days for a 20 ORB input. Tekcoin does as much or even higher. People don't go crazy about it. Orbit is a scamcoin with a heavy premine. One of the first to do so. I would never touch that garbage. It was up to Red Mist. .................. He wasn't very good at math most likely. . Laughing hard here Oh I have to thank you guys for brightening up a dreary day that thread was hilarious. Steer WELL CLEAR and keep faith in a good dev (Tranz). Don't go trying to fix what's not broke. The CAPs and HBN have potentially great communities, lets focus on that. |

Mr Tranz, coin control feature is at least to say awesome and is a must for every pos coin imo.
I just compiled a working exe from the original bottlecaps source. It seems to be syncing fine, but I will wait to make sure it syncs to the correct chain before celebrating. If it is synced on the correct chain I could add coin control to it without too much of a hassle. That being said, if this coin stays at a 1% PoS rate, it wouldn't really be worth much time spending on the wallet. How soon could the community realistically reach consensus on changing things in main.cpp and kernel.cpp? It seems like right now the CAP community is in slow motion, at least compared to the other coins I follow. I am going to work on the wallet over the next few days/weeks. I plan to do a few things. Coin Control among them, but if you want to do that, that would be cool. Save me the trouble. If not no biggie. I don't see much of a reason to change PoW, at least now. I DO want to increase the PoS. Unless I hear major objections, here is what I am going to code. After the wallet is officially released the PoS will increase until we hit the Max of 200% Day 1 - 30 Max PoS stays at 1% Day 31- 60 Max Pos increases to 50% Day 61 - 90 Max Pos increases to 100% Day 91 - 120 Max PoS increases to 150% Day 120+ Max PoS will be 200% I figured this will give everyone a clear opportunity to participate and allow people do their own due diligence on the code as well. If people do not want this, fine, but I don't want to waste much time working on the wallet when it doesn't do PoW or PoS particularly well. So speak now or forever hold your peace. Erm .. well I feel someone has to get the facts back on this thread so I'll repost Tranz plan for him ..... It's 15 pages back now. Tranz how exactly will the fork work? Will aged blocks from before the fork have the new rate applied to them, or only blocks with block time after the fork?
All blocks eligible for stake, will receive the new maturity time and reward at time of fork. Does this mean the hard-fork resets all coin age to zero for stake weight and maturity? It means all inputs will be staking using the new rules after the hard fork. Yes, but that could be with or without a carry over of accrued age. |
