Any network problems?
Presstabs not working and polo deposits are not showing.
Don't think so! Bittrex and my local wallet work as usual Was going to send to trex too.. something odd going on with presstab.pw .. www.khashier.com/chain/Clam shows transaction on chain. lots of this sort of thing in the logs peer 72.80.55.214:50145: leap backwards in height request, from max 1738831 to current 280001. penalty=6/100 perhaps we have misbehaving nodes messing things up a bit? lets see what polo support have to say,

I don't want by any means FUD here, that is not my intention, but maybe it is the high POS rate that keeps this coin from drawing attention to it. It just does not sound sustainable. Especially for those who are late to the party.
Don't mean to sound like an ass, but if you can read : its " up to 200%". Its not actually 200%. Plus everyone gets the same percentage, whether you're new or not. So yeah please rethink your false accusations. On a slightly less aggressive note, you are right, it is a considered choice and a 200% headline can be dissuasive on face value. But, as with several other long lived POS coins This is quite the enjoyable long game which, with smart play, can pay off very nicely. It's definitely not for the "I just bought some when is the pump" brigade It's a longer strategy I'm getting the impression that because this is a new thread people are thinking this is a new coin ... Loooong way from it. That is what I meant. I came here to ask about the POS rate while others might just skip this thread. Not sure where that reasoning is equal to a "false accusation". Ah truckers ... if nothing else passionate about trucking

I was under the impression that the BTC chain "snapshot" was being taken on the 25th. (2 days after YoBit issue gold)
The forking block is #491407 (expected ~4 days from this moment), so 25th is still correct (at least in most timezones). Are Yobit just going to lock the wallets 2 days early and assume that will be on the snapshot?
Assuming they disable Bitcoin transactions on the 23rd, yobit could credit BTG at that point (since their wallet balances won't change afterwards). I don't use/follow yobit, so I can't tell how they handle these forks, but it's a possibility. and the wallet software or mining / whatever software was going to be released come early (1st) November ... Will they even have a wallet (ie. option to withdraw and to where?) before 1st Nov
https://github.com/BTCGPU/BTCGPUGreat thanks, thats me a bit more up to date. Yobit are CREDITING BTG to BTC holders on the 23rd ...
Not the time frame I was expecting 25th through 1st Nov
They were super quick getting wallets and deposits up for BCH-BCC so perhaps they know something I don't ?
they are locking both wallets while the sparks fly
That's interesting. I wonder how much the bitcoingold people paid them to list the coin. Have no Knowledge there but they were quick off the blocks with BCH/BCC too.

Let's take it the other way around, why are you expecting a wait time till 1st November? Well, first up excuse if I have not done any research since my last spin round ... I could be out of date. I was under the impression that the BTC chain "snapshot" was being taken on the 25th. (2 days after YoBit issue gold) and the wallet software or mining / whatever software was going to be released come early (1st) November ... Has this changed ? Are Yobit just going to lock the wallets 2 days early and assume that will be on the snapshot? Will they even have a wallet (ie. option to withdraw and to where?) before 1st Nov Maybe sites like this ... www.bravenewcoin.com/news/bitcoin-gold-a-friendly-dividend-fork-or-bitcoins-disaster-recovery-plan/

I was studing my debug.log file and I sumbled upon this GUI: libpng warning: iCCP: known incorrect sRGB profile I would like to know what does it means A graphic file (PNG) isn't following a expected profile sRGB (Standard RGB) *shrug* doesn't sound too serious. maybe the app that saved an element in the gui only follows profile loosely.

No one knows exactly but probably price manipulation by whale(s). Or just taking a big position in BTC to get free money with the upcoming fork. We're having 70K invested back on JD so it's a good signal that we've maybe hit the bottom.
I think the bottom will be 0.0005 if not even lower, hope to be wrong TOO BAD THIS COIN COULD OF WENT BIGGER BUT GOT ABANDONED NOW ITS JUST GONE TO SHIT YESTERDAY!
Clams is my favourite too☺
similar things had happened a few times to clams before that and clams still here exist and NOT abandoned like you said have faith... this will pass and price will rise back to its usual range as long as people believe and hold and use it (in just-dice), clams will be around! Besides, trading is good with swings both ways and volume around a median price .... trading opportunity good coin

To be honest I'm not 100% about which nodes should be considered permanent and therefore included in the .conf pretty sure you can end up with some garbage in there but ... does it hurt? also the only node i'm connected to that states sync node is "addr" : "[2001:0:4137:9e76:3015:210b:aa1f:f238]:31174", "services" : "00000001", "lastsend" : 1508156983, "lastrecv" : 1508157014, "bytessent" : 190454, "bytesrecv" : 4934542, "conntime" : 1508155680, "pingtime" : 0.19810200, "version" : 60014, "timeoffset" : -9, "subver" : "/Satoshi:1.4.17/", "inbound" : false, "startingheight" : 1731628, "banscore" : 0, "syncnode" : true
