281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Changelly Big fees! BECARE! Don't use as their fees are horrible and insane! on: September 15, 2020, 07:59:16 AM
to make you understand the incorrectness of these people I tell you that I had made a review on Trustpilot and they reported it. At this point we must also understand the truthfulness of trustpilot since it moderated me. I strongly advise you not to use Changelly.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: September 15, 2020, 07:16:33 AM
Question: if i do a LITECOIN masternode, there is a reward? I must have ltc in a node?
It tells you all about different kind of nodes. Spoiler: there are no masternodes in Litecoin like there are in DarkCoin.
The article is well structured but it is clear that to fully understand the structure of the LTC network one should be an expert in graph theory. Clear that There are no masternodes like those of the pos (not the pos of the atm but that of the Proof of Stake). He's not like Dash. Resume: a full node considers just recent block and points a supernode. The miners utilize mining program separate from the block (litecoin core) to validate the transactions and if the transaction is validated insert it in the own fullnode that calls a supernode and becomes part of the blockchain. Supernodes are certainly connected and form the structure of the blockchain. Of course there is a whole validation system implemented. The supernodes are connected to each other and if a block is orphaned it is not joined to the blockchain. This is said very theoretically. At the programmatic level, the realization of all this (done by coblee and other developers for LTC) requires thousands of lines of code

283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Casper - End of Ethereum era? on: September 14, 2020, 06:14:19 PM
Eth 2.0 is infact the real start of the eth era because of the solutions of the long standing scalability issues eth was struggling but with the launch of eth 2.0 we can finally see adoption and increase in real world usage of ethereum in coming months and years.
A lot of hopes actually with this coming eth upgrade. With this scalability issues, there's a hope that it could resolve in the future. In my opinion, Eth will still be useful by many it will not end rather there will be an improvement for sure.
In the end there are many Coins that use the pos. Why choose ethereum and not ripple or anything else?
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Casper - End of Ethereum era? on: September 14, 2020, 06:11:36 PM
I don't think that the transition to POS means the end of ethereum. Ethereum already has a very strong infrastructure and many projects are running on the etereum blockchain, it is clear that alternatives already exist today, but etherium still has the highest priority
I do not think so either but they are taking a major risk, there has always been discussions about which protocol is safer but now ethereum is taking the major decision of changing from PoW to PoS if everything goes right then we will see miners leaving for other coins which is not bad, however if there is a single mistake in the process the price of the coin could crash in a matter of hours and that is never a good thing since it could really kill the coin.

The other problem is that after they make this transition then it will be impossible for them to go back to PoW, even if it s possible what will they tell to the long term holders of ethereum, that they made a mistake? That will not fly with them, so while I do not think this will kill ethereum it is really a very important moment in its history that will define how it is seen for the next few years.
But when they fork you can usually choose which blockchain to stay on. Or not?
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Casper - End of Ethereum era? on: September 14, 2020, 03:26:32 PM
Can you mention a PoS coin that was a success? The answer is no. And this is because PoS kills decentralization. To understand who will have the mining power, you need to ask yourself who are holding the ETH's because those ones will be the ones who have the network control, and the answer to this is 'Exchanges', those will rule the mining.  So, it sounds to me as a slow death.

Another issue will be the tons of people getting scammed with staking pools, mark my words guys, this will be a big problem.
perfectly agree! The miners are workers. They must rule the mining.otherwise we will return to the traditional economy
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Casper - End of Ethereum era? on: September 14, 2020, 07:47:49 AM
The ethereum casper will make the ethereum blockchain become a hybrid chain that will not eliminate the reward for the miners who will be mining ethereum and secure the block and at the same time it will also let holders to be able earn the staking yield from the network. You should not worry about this and you can see the detail here https://eips.ethereum.org/EIPS/eip-1011

I think if that EIP will be implemented into the ethereum network and the final block reward will be around 0.6 eth/block.
with a today reward of?

There are no masternodes in Litecoin. Mining is the only way to earn litecoins.

What will happen after the transition of eth from Pow to Pos? According to my scenario this would mean the demise of ethereum. Because? well, let's start with the fact that pow is based on millions of mining rigs around the world validating blocks. These resell the earned and when they have paid off the machines and the electricity, they set aside a little ethereum to buy more performing machines or optimize consumption. With the pos these will become useless with the consequence that ethereum will also become useless for them. It will be a much more centralized cryptocurrency for the rich few. Just my opinion.
Edit1 The effect of the miners (and therefore of the economic empires of Nvidia and Amd which have an interest in increasing the values of some crypto to sell more cards) will be felt just as it was felt on the various litecoin then dash etc?

Basically all of yourquestions are answered here in the official github is ethereum pos (casper)
Pow will be slowly and gradually replaced by pos. One pos block after many pow blocks.

https://github.com/ethereum/wiki/wiki/Proof-of-Stake-FAQ
ah, ok. Is a POS/Pow system. This is a iittle bit different. Possibility of do pos using pos pools?

291  Local / Mining (Italiano) / Re: Nuove nvidia 30xx e mining eth on: September 12, 2020, 08:32:48 PM
Chiedo a voi dato che siete più esperti.

E' profittabile minare ETH con le nuove schede Nvidia dato l'enorme aumento di prestazioni e l'enorme diminuzione di prezzi?

Leggo pareri discordanti in rete.

292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Changelly Big fees! BECARE! Don't use as their fees are horrible and insane! on: September 12, 2020, 08:27:13 PM
Honestly exchanges do started to cost a lot, most exchanges didn't changed the structure when bitcoin price went up, so when it was 12k dollars I remember one place taking 10 dollars while other was taking 4 dollars (binance I think) that is not really the price I would like to pay for crypto withdrawal, that is too much.

Of course if I use other altcoins that are smaller I could totally get away with it, most of them do not have any cost at all, so if I want to move money around I just have to trade it to something else (costs less) and then withdraw there and then trade it back and cash it out, all of this is more work but in the end you end up paying soooo much less than what you would have paid with withdrawal completely. I really can't stress enough how much you should look into that.
yes. I ve always done that. But for try they fu..d me

The power that owned by the miners will be distributed to the stakers.
 who are the stakers?
it will not be centralized.
it will be another ripple.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Changelly Big fees! BECARE! Don't use as their fees are horrible and insane! on: September 12, 2020, 03:52:04 PM
There are still exchange today that impose such high fee not just Changelly, HitBTC particularly ask 0.0015 BTC for withdrawal. Not ideal for someone with just few coins to withdraw and even if you try withdrawing XRP or TRX, it will still cost $15 worth.

Yes, but HitBtc for withdraw some altcoins has very low fees.

The new fork will excludes the asics?

Talking about ETC or ETH ?

ETH going proof of stake means there won't be a need of huge computing power to process the Txs.
precisely eth. the asic, type innosilicon A10 etc, are they configured for pos or will they become useless?
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Changelly Big fees! BECARE! Don't use as their fees are horrible and insane! on: September 12, 2020, 02:07:25 PM
Wow that sounds extremely high. It might have been due to the high gas fees that was around. Buy It is better to use some way where you can control the transaction costs .
Yes, and for now I personally prefer to buy any coins using dollars, because I can control them well and make withdrawals via TRON tokens because the transaction fees are very cheap when compared to ETH and others.
where do you buy the coins using dollars? Is it possible using euro?

Changed 30 dollars of dgb for 20 dollars of ethereum. Change exchange. To limit of the scam
You're right but shouldn't encourage others who choose to use the same exchange to quilt. Personally I don't use this cryptocurrency exchange often but in some rare occasions. We'll know that the market of ethereum has increased in it transaction fees which could equally affect the said cryptocurrency exchange, so, don't totally blacklist them for their high fees.
i think don' t is possible 10$ of fees for 30$ transaction
