Yes that's right, a project reaching it's hard cap is not a guarantee to its success. The team might not fulfill its agenda thus making project to fail. So yes money raised its no guarantee to the success of a project.

There are stillman bounties that never asked for kyc but never sent out payment which I have personal experience about. Stopping kyc is your choice and also you aren't mandated to do kyc or join projects that asks for kycs

What it would be like when your long wait for a project listing on exchanges will be ended up by an apparent apology by a project for its failure to continue citing various reasons. On the part of the project team, they try to be honest by promising to return their investment to investors. But what about bounty hunters? And what about time, efforts by investors and bounty hunters? I think it will be a sort of a scam by cancelling a project at the eleventh hour under various pretexts.

there is no scam there if the team decided to cancel project and actually return funds to investors. But about bounty hunters, it will be quite unfortunate because they will get nothing. Apparently the team logically has no fund to pay the hunters |

If I can't find a bounty project that's already listed and trading I'm done joining bounties.
No matter how reasonable a project might be if the teams decided to stay anonymous I will pass by
Whitepapers and roadmaps aren't enough anymore,developers should be ready to face the public and be ready to show me they are ready to work ,not experimental on 'it might became success or failure .
maybe you should be quiting now because you will hardly see any bounty that is already traded. One thing you should understand is that it is quite difficult to fine a very good bounty |

2019 has been a year with mixed feelings for crypto enthusiasts. A lot of bounty hunters have now switched over to trading, because bounty is longer profitable.
Some that have combined the two (both bounty and trading), while larger percentage are still into bounty, despite not being profitable.
I envisage that in two to three years to this time, the population of people on bounty will reduce drastically, because it will no longer be profitable as it used to be.
I will still go for bounty than trading. Bounty give me much enough time I must say than what I see on trading which I have to spend every minute of my time monitoring. But trading is more lucrative |
