bounties are not profitable, it is rare that these days a bounty results in something worthwhile. Nevertheless I think that bounties and trading have to walk hand-to-hand, same as mining and trading, these are all part of the crypto ecossytem, and as the market moves in cycles, so should we... the trick to adapting to the market changes is to diversify and work on several fronts
I think that with the bull run the bounty individual values will rise, but only time will tell...

In my own opinion i would choose bounty , you can only maximize risk, yes some projects seems to exit scam after a long weeks of jobs, but Trading is more risky not a lot of people have an idea on when to sell or buy.

indeed in 2019 this Bounty reward was not as good as last year.
for me personally, I follow both bounty or trading.
so I can cover the shortcomings in the bounty

Indeed until now the bounties was not profitable, maybe only if the bull run will come the bounties will be profitable, but until then maybe the bounty hunters start to trade, and try to make a profit there.

Indeed, compare back in 2017 where Bounties were profitable, many Bounty Hunters where those traders who drifted from being a trader to Bounty Hunter becasue the reward was great than doing trade. But the reverse is the case in 2019, where almost the whole Bounties are no profitable as before. Currently, is better to trade than to do Bounties. Maybe another year of Bull Run will swap traders to Bounties.

For now its better to trade than promote and join some bounty campaigns because lot of them can't pay you in exact time because lot of them being scammed and i cant see theres a good bounty in this time.

There's a time now for bounty hunters to concentrate of something else like IEOs. It doesn't require a lot of trading experience. You have to have enough minimum personal cap and verified account to partcipate in it.

2019 has been a year with mixed feelings for crypto enthusiasts. A lot of bounty hunters have now switched over to trading, because bounty is longer profitable.
Some that have combined the two (both bounty and trading), while larger percentage are still into bounty, despite not being profitable.
I envisage that in two to three years to this time, the population of people on bounty will reduce drastically, because it will no longer be profitable as it used to be.

This is not an issue of bounty isn't profitable the issue on ground is that the coin given to hunters as rewards doesn't have good price due to general bad market condition. This situation will not change until the market atmosphere becomes bullish.

I guess you mean the typical ico bounty is no longer profitable? Not the end of bounty though.. . Talented bounty hunters are still getting paid in popular cryptocurrencies or fiat in crypto world for finding bugs, development bounty, content bounty etc
By the way, the bounty space is  saturated at the moment by lots of projects but few investors/money due mostly to the bear market

Bounty is very broad many hunters are getting paid on fiat by joining a team who will promote their project there are many ways on how you can earn  as bounty hunters, sometimes they have allocation their bounty is just for marketing and sometimes they switch from promoter to trader once they have enough money because for them trading is more profitable than became a promoter.

The fate of bounty hunters are in the hands of investors who's still willing to take chances inside this investment field, without them or lacking of invested money will results to a failed project and no tokens to be distributed, this place of income opportunities is much lesser best to research more harder to find good project around.

if like you now i think you can get nothing from bounty except you join in translator or media campaign, and i think for what you in crypto when you not invest, trading more better than bounty
