281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming and crypto in the same place on: October 31, 2018, 04:38:56 PM
There are many gaming tokens but none have really taken off. Mobile go looks like a successful token, they are most likely to succeed due to having a large investment fund to develop from
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should We Diversify Our Investments? on: October 31, 2018, 04:35:19 PM
Even if the project looks like a sure thing it can dump for a variety of reasons. Keep at least 25% in bitcoin, then you can diversify the rest of your portfolio
283  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-10-29] Bitcoin Exchange Bitstamp Confirms Sale to Gaming Group NXC on: October 30, 2018, 04:26:08 PM
It is a good investment as bigstamp has a good reputation and long serving history. Recently, they have failed to live up to expectations and been overtaken on CMC, this is a positive move for everyone
284  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-10-29] Minor Crypto Exchange Pulls Off Exit Scam, Steals All User Funds on: October 30, 2018, 04:22:24 PM
Never heard of this maple exchange, I bet they aren't even Canadian but just used a Canadian host and virtual office. Stick to reputable exchanges, and keep the majority of your coins safe
285  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-10-29] French Business School Accepts Fees in Bitcoin for Blockchain Techn on: October 30, 2018, 04:18:19 PM
It helps to attract foreign students if their country does not allow them to transfer large amounts of cash outside of the country. Smart move, I'm sure others will follow
286  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-10-29] Coinbase Downsizes More Than a Dozen People: Report on: October 30, 2018, 04:15:41 PM
They probably hired people based on a zero hours contract. So they can have more staff during the busy bull runs and cut the numbers when he work dries up
287  Economy / Exchanges / Re: DECENTRALIZED EXCHANGES: why we need decentralization? on: October 29, 2018, 05:17:11 PM
Some countries are clamping down with regulation so they require strict KYC documentation. To avoid that they can instead switch to a decentralised exchange and trade p2p
288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coin War: Can A Country Officially Back Bitcoin? on: October 29, 2018, 05:14:23 PM
It would not have any impact other than both coins pumping hard while the others are left in the dark. They are tradable against each other just like USD and the Japanese yen
289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: does bitcoin look scary / deadly for the future ...? on: October 29, 2018, 05:11:24 PM
If you want to consider your children and grandchildren then I suggest you start accumulating before it goes parabolic. It is not evil, just an alternative to cash and gold
290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Become a Speaker on: October 26, 2018, 06:44:37 AM
the best place to start is by hosting your own channel on YouTube. If that fails to get a wide enough audience then stand on the street and talk with a megaphone
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to determine if projects/coins will survive the bear market? on: October 26, 2018, 06:33:16 AM
If you only look at the top 5 then you will only enjoy moderate gains. Find a project that reached the hardcap, it will ensure high demand and longevity.
292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 7 crypto markets and 158 wallets were hacked on: October 24, 2018, 03:40:47 PM
It could be those low volume new exchanges that just finished their ico. Not really surprised as some don't enforce 2fa which makes it easier to hack.
293  Economy / Economics / Re: What are the odds that the government/banks will truly create their own coin? on: October 24, 2018, 03:35:20 PM
There is a bigger chance that they will create their own coin rather than use ripple. This assumes that crypto has gone global and they have no choice but to join in. Petrol has been created already, others will surely follow.
294  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit a trillion dollar marketcap in the future? on: October 24, 2018, 06:55:36 AM
Large institutions have not entered the markets yet so the market cap is based on individual holders. When bigger whales join in and compete with one another you can guarantee a trillion dollar market cap
295  Economy / Speculation / Re: How high do you think Bitcoin will go on the next bull run? on: October 24, 2018, 06:51:38 AM
The current price is a great entry point for institutional investors who are preparing to break into the crypto markets. I think it will hit around 30k before dumping down again, then hitting new highs over 50k after that
296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MTGOX2 - KEEP YOU`R BITCOIN SAVE on: October 23, 2018, 03:27:52 PM
Even electrum isn't safe, there was a scam fairly recently where a cloned wallet was advertised at the top of Google so people downloaded the hacked version and they subsequently lost their coins
297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk bitcoin tweet will leave you swooned. on: October 23, 2018, 03:23:22 PM
This is a cryptic tweet but my guess is that he will create a world changing crypto exchange that links everything together. PayPal, fiat, bitcoin, and altcoins. If anyone can do it, it is Elon Musk
298  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Heading into ‘Classic Breakout Pattern’: Analyst on: October 22, 2018, 08:31:23 PM
This shows that a break out is possible but not imminent. There is a period of stagnation first which is what we are experiencing, but when the break out occurs we can be damned sure that it will pump up fast
299  Economy / Speculation / Re: Signs That The Bitcoin Bulls Are Ready To Break Out on: October 22, 2018, 08:16:44 PM
Bakkt is what people are waiting for the most, there is more chance of this happening than the ETF which is continuously rejected over and over again. This is going to be the trigger for the next bull run
300  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market still stagnant! on: October 22, 2018, 07:58:36 PM
I don't see any major changes taking place this year. It is still stagnant and there is no sign of either a pump or a dump. Not sure if this should be considered good or bad, but we should hope for something like an ETF to boost the markets again
