Just started brand new wallet and it says no blockchain source available.
Is the seed node down or do I need to add something to the dash.conf?

I don't want to feast on any project's issues, but one good thing about all that drama is that they seem to have more important things in their minds than spamming and advertising in DASH thread for now. Guys, sorry to ruin your feast, but the chainradar thing is fake, i.e. guessing, and not doing a very good job of it. Premise
ChainRadar has suddenly started displaying a "From Transaction" value for transactions with a ring signature. By making a series of test transactions and then putting simplewallet into RPC mode, those "From Transaction" values can be scraped from ChainRadar and then checked against the transaction IDs of your spent outputs. If it is correct then the transaction will appear in your spent outputs, although there is something of a chance of a false positive. For large test samples in large wallets I would expect to see anything up to 5% false positives.
Results
I tested 19 transactions, some mixin 4 and some mixin 20 (excluding my own signature, so mixin 5 and 21 according to ChainRadar).
For these transactions none of them were completely compromised by ChainRadar, and ChainRadar got 0 out of 157 guesses correct, not even an accidentally correct guess or a false positive. Absolutely zero.

I think Monero will do just fine despite your efforts, or perhaps in small part because of them. As for the darkcoin/dash instamine "non-issue" as you call it. I'm wondering, why everything I reported about the developer actions surrounding the instamine isn't also reported on the darkcoin FAQ, web site, or OP. You do want to make sure there is full and open disclosure, right? Please stay on topic. I am asking you why you would rather spend so much of your effort on DRK then concentrating on developing and improving Monero...please answer. I'm good at multitasking Wouldnt you rather do whats best for Monero investors and focus fully on Monero rather than spending 90% of your time typing smart ass troll slander/comments throughout the forum? There isnt a shortage of problems or issues that Monero has for you to multi-task....You dont see Evan spending time drumming up bullshit on these forums do you....he is professional, taken seriously, focused and knows how to get results. |

Smooth, you do realise with the amount of effort you have spent slandering and bringing up the 1+ year old DRK instamine non-issue, you could have had a working GUI wallet, fixed monero's problems and kept a little class......
Why not let things be, put your head down and do something useful with your time to help Monero and its community?
Then maybe, JUST maybe you may see a glimmer of hope that Monero might actually be worth something one day.....or not...
