281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: March 30, 2021, 03:27:33 AM
It's been quite a while since I left gambling, and hence I don't really gamble my earnings anymore. If I assume I earn $20 per week as a full member here, majority of the funds I use for recharging my phone, a goody goody pizza, Netflix Cheesy it's nice to enjoy and spend on my own self Tongue besides I save a part of the earnings in my long term savings goal as well Smiley
It is good to treat yourself sometimes when you have received your payments, I did the same thing as yours but I realized that I need to save money, it would be better if I am going to save money instead of spending it on my food or my wants. So as of now the payment that I received from the signature campaign is used for my saving and small trading purposes.
282  Economy / Economics / Re: Flexible Work Schedule on: March 29, 2021, 05:49:45 PM
A flexible work schedule is really good but it still depends on your work, I have a friend who has a flexible work schedule because his work needs only a quota for one week and if he already reached that one for only 2-3 days then he doesn't need to work anymore and the payments would cover the 7 days and all those who work from how can also have the flexible hours because they can still do something at their home while working as long as it won't affect their job.
283  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: What is safest: Binance/exchanges or online software wallets? on: March 29, 2021, 05:19:10 PM
I have nothing to choose between Binance/exchange and software wallets for storing my bitcoin, both are prone to attacks or hackers because both can access online. You may still store in exchange but not all of your money just enough money only for buy and sell, when talking about storing our bitcoin or saving our money for the future then you may use Ledger Nano.
284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can / cannot replace the banks ? on: March 29, 2021, 04:47:12 PM
No matter how good and great bitcoin is, it still cannot replace the banks, we really need the banks because whenever we have earned bitcoin we still need banks to withdraw it and spend it for some other things we need because some companies or some business do not accept bitcoin as payment so you still need the fiat currency that a bank can give to us.
285  Other / Meta / Re: Is there an app for this forum? on: March 29, 2021, 04:20:24 PM
Before when the first time I joined this forum, I also asked this question to myself but did not bother me to ask it in any member of this forum because I just realized that there is no problem when accessing it in google chrome or on a website. There's still no app for the bitcointalk and I don't think that they are planning to create an application for it.
286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I went big into Bitcoin and Ethereum... on: March 29, 2021, 03:31:55 PM
I am also using a coinbase app but I am not using it for storing my asset, yes coinbase is secured because it has the 2FA which makes it invulnerable to external attack or if someone is trying to access it, but it is still vulnerable for the hackers as many exchanges are prone from hacking. If I have that huge amount of money then I prefer using a hardware wallet instead of storing it in an exchange, it is safer and more secured than any exchanges no matter how reputable it is.
287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Awareness and Meme Images on: March 29, 2021, 02:16:51 PM
This is a great picture of the reality of gambling, greediness always make you empty, if you are confident to the point that all of your money and properties can be your bet then you will end up losing all of it, always remember that the owners of the gambling won't be the loser, they are the one who gains more money over their customer so be careful and aware for those things.
288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has the potential to become the central bank of the central banks on: March 29, 2021, 02:03:57 AM
As time goes by, changes always happen, a lot of things are now being innovated and advanced, we also have seen a huge change with cryptocurrency especially the bitcoin, 10 years ago bitcoin is not that really interesting asset because of its value but now we can see how it changes and a lot of people are now being more interested in it. Bitcoin will not become the central banks of the central banks instead it could be the reserve assets just like Gold.
289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Type of people who buy bitcoin. on: March 28, 2021, 03:48:35 PM
Hello. So, I was wondering if bitcoin is something that only the privileged and elite who have extra money leftover can invest in or not. Are normal people working minimum wage buying bitcoin, even if it is a small amount? Thanks.
Those elite or those who earn huge amount of money have the confidence on buying bitcoin even though the risk on it is still there, they are not that too scared of losing money because they can still earn it on their own but those people who don't have stable life are scared of doing it because they are afraid of losing the money that they have earned from their hard work. Anyone can buy bitcoin as long as they want no one will restrict them from doing that.
290  Economy / Economics / Re: Strong kyc reason on: March 28, 2021, 03:19:27 PM
I am just confused about how you have constructed your thread, maybe you have to look at every spelling of your content before submitting it but anyway, KYC is required in the bank system but it doesn't mean that whenever you'll have the KYC the banks would benefit from it and make them more money that is impossible, they just really need the record of their customer if there is unusual things happen if you don't want KYC then don't create a bank account but I don't think that it would be possible for a person.
291  Economy / Economics / Re: Our boss and employer are money on: March 27, 2021, 01:33:46 PM
I understand what you really want to say, yes money is everything and there are so many things that money can give to you but I just want to point out about making money boss of yours, you should not consider it as a boss because it will control you. You should be the one who controls the money. We work hard to earn money and to buy things we want and to sustain our daily lives but it is not all about money, there are still so many things that can make you happy and fulfill your life.
292  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to live without banks? on: March 27, 2021, 04:30:20 AM
The bank is really important in our daily lives, even though you are working and paid off BTC, you still need a bank to cash it out. Banks and cryptocurrency are both important and they have a different purpose in our lives and most probably, still, a lot of people don't know about cryptocurrency so they still prefer banks and wouldn't mind cryptocurrency. Even though a mass adoption happens bank is still really important.
293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wave of gambling may end with COVID recovery? on: March 26, 2021, 12:22:04 PM
This pandemic brings a lot of changes in so many circumstances in life, due to this virus the health protocol has been implemented in any casino gambling which results in having few numbers gamblers inside the casino so most of gamblers now are more active in online gambling because they have nothing to do with their home, just like me when boredom hits me I play to be entertained and to earn some money but sometimes still ends up losing money.
If ever the virus has been solved I don't think that the statistics of gamblers will decrease because 1 year is too long and if you have played for that time it is hard to remove it from you right away.
294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Gold is government assest,Bitcoin is all yours." A Comparison between them. on: March 25, 2021, 03:56:52 PM
There is always a comparison between gold and bitcoin, both are good assets. Gold is the government's asset and they can control it anytime unlike bitcoin, they cannot access it and they cannot control it if they don't have the private keys of yours. If you want independent banking or you want that you are the only one who can access or the one who only controls your asset then you better prefer on choosing bitcoin instead of gold. Gold is also good, for sure in the future it can also go upon which you can give it as a gift to your future children.
295  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin after the pandemic on: March 25, 2021, 02:06:03 PM
Not only pandemic contributes to the value of bitcoin nowadays, the post halving and a lot of things happened makes bitcoin inflate a lot. Once the pandemic gets over there would be a big impact on the value of bitcoin, maybe it would go down a little bit as a lot of people will now become busy and do some other things but we are now seeing the small innovation for the bitcoin as we are now started for mass adoption, even though we cannot see it as a whole mass adoption, it still happen little by little.
296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People die from heart attack when they hit the jackpot. on: March 25, 2021, 05:39:35 AM
Even though we are very happy because we hit a jackpot, we still need to be chill and relax don't be so excited about it I mean just to balance the excitement that is bringing of this jackpot because people might die because of excitement and having a heart attack. I've done some research and based on my research those people have already a past disease which is heart failure and that means they just need to be more careful about what their reaction is because it might cause their own life. Just enjoy the winnings and take always our lives.
Yeah, those people who already have sick most commonly the old people can die from a heart attack, the excitement and the joy they have felt upon winning the mega jackpot makes them die, they cannot hold anymore the emotions which result from a heart attack. Health is wealth, there is no sense in winning the mega jackpot if you will die right away.
297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Internet connectivity - Gambling wins/losses on: March 24, 2021, 10:52:32 AM
Yes, I have that experience before I change my ISP. The internet connection was suck and made me angry every day, so that I decided to close the account and search for the other ISP that can serve better. I have a bad connection too when I play gambling on my mobile phone but not too often because I will check the connection by browsing some websites and make sure everything is good. It could be our loss because of the lack of internet connection.
That's is good, we should try first our internet connection before we gamble, there is no assurance that our internet would be stable so better to take an action first before losing the game just because of an unstable internet connection, that is also what I am doing before I gamble, I always make sure that my internet connection is goo so it wouldn't make me so frustrated while playing.
298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a lone bettor or a competitive one? on: March 23, 2021, 04:06:11 PM
it is a choice I think because even though we are not part of any competition but if we are aware of the existence of many other bettors who are also betting on the same event, then indirectly it will also make us more aware to remain more selective in the bets we make to be the best
Yeah, that is the reality, whenever we have seen someone who also does what we are doing then it triggers us to do it better because we want them to beat and that is the character of being competitive, it is not bad just like some others think, you just want to get the reward upon reaching the highest or become the top.
If other bettors are also competitive, it makes me as well compete more and it excites me a lot.
299  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there subject to study Cryptocurrency ? on: March 23, 2021, 02:16:44 PM
It is nice to know someone who is asking about this thing, it seems like they really want to learn things about cryptocurrency, there are already a lot of subjects related to cryptocurrency and some are included in a school's program. If you want you may try this one https://www.udemy.com/course/build-blockchain. Udemy is one of the legit and reputable websites for learning things you want.
300  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin millionaire lists reasons most will never be rich on: March 23, 2021, 12:21:25 PM
I admire that person for believing in cryptocurrency, he deserves to earn a huge amount of money because he took the risk for it and those risk-taker commonly succeed in their lives, well this is our life full of hard decision and most commonly we have to take a risk if we want to see a better future, unfortunately, a lot of people are really scared of taking a risk that is why they are still on what they are now.
