Lucky but unlucky. Happy but very sad. Those are the words that I can say after looking at the picture with those results about the gamblers who have died after hitting the jackpots.

If we know this would happen, we would wish we did not win a lottery.

That's very interesting subject. I am not doctor but I think the reason can be something like this: When Dopamine and other related hormones are released, you feel happy. When brain feel ups with dopamine, it hits the reward centre where human can experience the most intense pleasure. When too much dopamine is released, when you are on the peak, you can no longer breathe and then you die. Maybe, something like this happens here too because I know dopamine injections are used for those who have heart problems (it doesn't cross the blood-brain barrier).

Let me analyze it from a medical point of view :
See the thing is most of these people who are involved in such cases are the ones who gamble, drink , have unhealthy diet and are mostly in their middle age, which does mean that you could have gone near them as the Joker from It and they would have died right away if you have given them a good scare. Atherosclerosis is more common than you think and at the end not everyone can go to the doctor despite being completely healthy and analyze their lipid profile.
This is essential to note that the healthy individuals will not die for sure on receiving such news , this one is quite opposite to a broken heart syndrome but still proved to have fatal consequences. Therefore the thing is to maintain your health in a way that such lucky wins you can enjoy , life is bound to give you opportunities and happiness and you have to be ready for it as you should be ready for the downfalls.

And will give you only pic so its up to you guys if you want to read all the articles that you can find on google, just search "lottery winners who died from heart attack". I feel sorry about their situation since instead of being lucky they turn out to be the most unlucky person by the time they hit the jackpot since they die without enjoying it.

It might have cross through my mind at some point but I didn't expect that these really do happen. Leading an unhealthy lifestyle for a few weeks doesn't cause death. It takes many years of bad diet and lack of exercise to create life-threatening conditions. If someone dies within a few weeks of winning the jackpot due to these reasons, then in all probability the root cause was the way of living much before he won the lottery. However, on a good note, at least the winner can afford quality medical treatment after he wins the lottery.
