I know that one dummy per rig and that's the strange thing, rigs were are 3x RX480 cards don't behave like that, rigs were are 6x RX480 cards randomly do this not all and not every time. Like if I restart rig were no monitor is plugged and it auto starts the miner in remote manager and even after connecting to RDP shows only one card stats, if I restart it second time it will work. For now two out of 13 6x RX480 rigs ar showing only one card stats. Actually I didn't mind it showing me less info, I just want to be secure in case of some card loses it's fan or any other reason overheats it, I just need the command -tstop to work. So the question will be if the miner sees the one card stats only will the command -tstop make other overheated card to stop ?
I have a friend who's rig behaves exactly the way you're describing and his hardware is identical to mine. |

For those who are not dual mining do you get the same hashrate as when you dual mine ? I had that problem before where the hash rate is lower when I'm not dual mining
with my power costs I cant afford to dual mine anymore

ETH is considerably more profitable (right now) to mine than ZEC. Depends on the cards that you have : 79x0 / R280(x) go Zcash, RX4x0 go Eth I should of stated 480's but his comment about his 480's is what I was responding to. |

I think it has not much to do with hashing power but with coin trading. Let suppose you build a nonster rig and you use Claymore miner, you will get some great profits for some days, but as the ZCL and Zcash price drops, you will be switching to eth/etc sooner or later, moreover if we take into account the dual mining option.
I think the market will give is the chance to switch between currencies, I mean: as the eth difficulty rises you will get fewer coins for the same work, and in the meantime the zec/zcl difficulty wil fall some points. People will drop eth and to move to zec, and on, and on, and on, until both currencies's difficulty is so high that you wil have to upgrade your card.
But in all those sceneries the price will play an stellar roll. It's my opinion.

Fair enough. You have to remember that Nvidia miners also want their piece of the ZEC pie (and they will get it even if its more expensive to do so). ZEC difficulty will climb drastically in the upcoming days. |

not anymore, it's way lower, assuming a rig of 1000(6 x 480)sol versus the same rig that do 180MH it's 0.002 worst, conusmption is also higher i guess or on par What bios/settings r u using to get 180MH from your rig? I have low power bios and have 170mh, on this 180mh was unstable. Is all fine on your rig? The question you should be asking is, what is his hash per watt. You can crank up the speed but you exponentially use more power. |

Nice to see that improvement in hashrate, but I think it won't change that ZCash is doomed compared to Ethereum.
actually increasing the hash will not give you anything, because everyone will have his hash increased, only nvidia is screwed on zcash at the moment because of no optimization Just wait until Nvidia optimizations happen (in the pipeline for Optiminer shortly), ZEC will get pummeled. |

i want back to time when claymore didnt release optimized old card, this is ruined zec mining, all those new card stuck like hell
except the nano's hash rate is pretty amazing with low power cunsumption 205 h/s / 80 watt
RX series 90 watt at 0.9v core doing 160hs

I would underclock and undervolt otherwise, but I doubt the card would pull 166 sols.
The card most certainly does > 165 sols/s with 1400 GPU speed. Tested on all 5 of my cards and they all hit those figures. what voltage do you use for 1400 Gpu speed? 900 mV |

rx 480 8g gets 170 h/s with v.7. However, power usage have risen from 130 to 150 watt from the wall.
Yup. The hash per watt is quite bad at that rates. I've got rid of the high h/s as its not profitable. I'm now pulling 118 watts at the wall for 155 h/s. |

Hey Hotmetal, sorry if you have already mentioned this somewhere, what Make our your Cards? I have 4 x Sapphire RX480 8GB Nitro+ and two of them have had the BIOS Modded on them from the Mod in this Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mwb67g4skGM&t=356sI am finding that my H/s can fluctuate on my cards between 130 H/s and 154 H/s per Card, sometimes hitting a total of 612 H/s and sometime down in the 560 H/s I have a 1600Watt PSU, but not as of yet overclocked the cards, Just wondering if you have modded your cards at all? Also which variables are you using? Sorry for all the questions, just want to try get me Hash Rate Stable and Running at the best it can be, (Electricity is also not an issue for me :-P) I have the Sapphire RX480 8GB Nitro+. Use that bios as a starting point and increase the GPU speed. |

Power consumption is around 180W? GPU1100, mem 1750 gives 135 sol and power consumption is 100W. 165W per GPU. Please let me know how? i have same graphic cards and i get just 140. Turn up the GPU clock speed. How much have you setup? 1400 but i'm using an RX480. |
