281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BOXING MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT - Canelo vs. GGG Discussion on: September 18, 2017, 11:30:23 AM
In my perspective, if it would not be a draw I'll definitely go with Canelo as the winner. It's a tough match and as for the scoring, I'll leave triple G with less one point than canelo considering how he answered every blows.
I'm not a fan of Canelo and it's my first time to watch his fight so this is an unbias decision from me. I guess this fight was the nearest defeat for triple G  Shocked

Exactly, Canelo looks like winning than triple G, it's just rather unfair to settle for a draw but what can you say it's boxing and if you don't go with your own judge by knocking down your opponent it's likely to be decided against you.

Like Pacman's said this the chance for boxing to reclaim the trust of the people but then again they screwed up. Kodus for both fighters but a draw? I had it GGG won that fight. Boxing really became a business, In which promoters doesn't care about the essence of Boxing but instead they eye for the money. This is another example why a lot of Boxing fan before hates the sports now. A rematch would likely to happen and for sure it will happen early next year.

These replies show that some people saw Canelo as a winner and other saw Golovkin as the winner, so I guess the best decision was a draw, but most boxing experts point to a win of GGG. The 118-110 card in favor of Canelo by one of the judges was absolutely fucked tho.

What a scam this sport is.  I mean we all know some of the huge Vegas bookies and the Mafia or whoever pays off the judges the refs and whoever it takes to manipulate the results.  It's kinda like insider trading in Wall Street which happens more than we're lead to believe.

I don't see how the result is a scam. Was a draw that farfetched? I think it's not an insane decision to give the fighters a draw on this one. Sure there was some retarded judge that gave Canelo a lot of rounds, but if you even out all the scoring it's pretty tight. I think it was good, and we the fans will get a rematch with a lot more hype than if yesterday someone was given a win.

In close matches, no matter the outcome, there will always be unhappy people about it. It is what it is.
283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GGG vs Canelo betting thread on: September 17, 2017, 03:33:32 PM
It was definitely a good fight and I was glad I didn't fall asleep because it was really late. The stream was also smooth and in HD, it was noticeable how all the casuals from Mayweather-McGregor wasn't there this time.

I think a draw was a decent result. It could have gone both ways, maybe GGG got the edge and should have won, but at the end of the days we will get what we want: a rematch. Hopefully GGG makes adjustments because his power punchers weren't there last night.

Here we go:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSz6kLWVYeM

Both fighters weighted in at 160lbs limit. Whoever wins this is definitely the best boxer right now and will reign for the next couple of years. I don't see anyone on their level anytime soon. Maybe if Lomachenko keeps improving and beating guys he can get a shoot against Canelo. Triple G would be too big for Loma. Anyway it all comes down to tomorrow night. These fuckers look so calm. I would be so nervous to have a pro fight of such caliber, thats fucked up.

I think Loma can only get as high as 147 lbs. IMHO. And Alvarez can't get down to 147 lbs. So I doubt this 2 can meet in the ring.

Back on topic. This fight could be the "Thrilla in Nevada", even the great Sugar Ray Leonard that this fight is bigger than the Super Bowl. Hard core fans understand that this is the real deal, unlike the Mayweather-McGregor overpriced and overhyped and purely exhibition fight. LOL. GGG has been defending his belt 18 successive times. Will Alvarez be his 19th victim? And yeah both of them look calm and calculated. Damn. I'm really hype and can't wait to see this two on the ring.

Yep probably it's overkill for Canelo to lose weight to match Loma, but then again McGregor is similar to Canelo and he is a flyweight champion by cutting a lot of weight in the weight ins. I think with some extreme shredding Canelo could try to go 147lbs.

And yeah this fight is awesome, but I don't like to downplay the McGregor-Mayweather fight. I think both fights will be great. For a purist I understand McGregor-Mayweather was a showmatch, but it turned out to be a decent fight, and it got a lot of people interested in boxing and also put some respect on this game for the MMA guys that think they can step into a ring and destroy boxers easily, I don't see how it did anything wrong to the sport.
285  Economy / Speculation / Re: $3000 is the critical level - video analysis on: September 16, 2017, 03:36:49 PM
This trader has made a cool video looking at where the price goes from here.

https://www.facebook.com/thesharesguy/videos/1930445450542928/

I like the analysis and how it was presented and all, but I think the drops in the 3000 initial stop is not comprable to what is happening now. The dips then were caused by buy/sell orders from Bitcoin holders. The dips now are caused by the reaction to the news about China. I think these are two very different dips and the same logic cannot be applied to both.

Technical analysis is always about buy/sell orders. If the bad news about China was the reason for the huge drop, then what is the "news" reason for the 20% price rise from 3000? Was there suddenly some great news from China? The point is that chart patterns tend to repeat themselves within and across markets, and Bitcoin is still following a typical path for an investment undergoing a parabolic boom. It takes some truly earth-shattering news (bigger than China) to suddenly disrupt such patterns.

The bullish news is the very fact that china is out. It already happened, therefore there is nothing to fear now. No more PBOC crap dumping the price at will as they used to do. This is the same thing as the saying goes "getting a weight off your shoulder". Similar to how the market tanked when Mike Hearn said BTC was dead, but post-news it is bullish because we got rid of his influence on the price.

Jamie Dimon also dumped the market only to buy cheap later, which should make his word illegitimate next time, but of course, you can never count out the stupidity of a lot of people in the market, panic sellers will always remain panic sellers.

I already made a thread the second I realized how the FUD was reaching comical levels and everyone dumping their BTC was basically handling their cheap coins to the same people that are FUDding:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2173546.msg21790758#msg21790758

If you panic sold at the bottom... im sorry my man but you fucked up big time. Get in now and stop waiting for the perfect entry point. Buy every dip and hold long term, there's no other way to get rich.

If you want to gamble then look for some good altcoins and pray to saint satoshi that it will pump, but always keep the majority of your portfolio on BTC.

I recommend you guys to lurk this:

https://www.reddit.com/r/BoxingStreams/

Links should pop up later tonight. Download AcePlayer and open the acestream link with AcePlayer and enjoy HD streaming. In theory since acestream is p2p like bitorrent the more people that join the stream the better it works, but somehow the Mayweather vs McGregor fight made some acestreams collapse, but that was abnormal traffic so I suspect we will have no problems with this one.

289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Proof of Stake coins? on: September 15, 2017, 03:34:24 PM
I was thinking here in reserving some hdd space for a proof of stake coin. Say, buy a thousand of these coins and get a reward from time to time.

However, I never did this before and I'm confused about how it would work. Would it use too much RAM? Would it consume my CPU? Or would it use the GPU like in mining?

Also, recommend good POS coins to store in that way.

The best thing you can do is get involved really early on in a PoS coin and start staking since day one, then it's like a snowball effect where you make more and more coins.

I made a ton of BITS (Bitstar, now pretty much dead after being delisted from all the exchanges) and I was able to dump it for a nice extra BTC that I wasn't expecting. Because that is how it works.... you hold and track it on your portfolio and then a random day the damn coin pumps and you happen to be holding a lot of it.

This is why I think Poswallet.com is a good idea to speculate with PoS coins. I would like a decentralized solution for multiple PoS staking.
290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are We Dead Without China? on: September 15, 2017, 01:48:15 PM
China's importance is overblown. Just like how "90% of volume is coming from china" bullshit got proved to be fake by the PBoC regulations on exchanges which exposed the true volume was not that much, after China being stupid enough to ban the exchanges, they will get exposed as not that important for Bitcoin. But in any case chinese oligarchs will keep buynig BTC over the counter, this is only to screw the common man. They only want the rich to be able to buy crypto.

Oh and im assuming this is not a temporal ban until licensing of exchanges is delivered so they will pump the market again by saying the bans are lifted.
291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BOXING MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT - Canelo vs. GGG Discussion on: September 15, 2017, 12:09:19 PM
The video clip on this page has Bernard Hopkins' breakdown of GGG vs Canelo.

http://www.boxingscene.com/video-bernard-hopkins-breaks-down-canelo-vs-golovkin--120475

Bernard Hopkins seems to think GGG won't be prepared for the level of competition Canelo brings & he thinks it'll come down to whether GGG can adapt.

I hope other boxing analysts chime in and try to predict the fight. I don't remember that ever happening much like it does in MMA.

You can't never say triple G isn't prepared, he will be, he is always very dangerous. Canelo is looking solid tho, top physical condition and ready to kick ass. Didn't see much sparring recently but he is a future hall of fammer.

Im still going for a 10 rounder with a GGG KO tho. Canelo will not be able to stop him.
292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BOXING MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT - Canelo vs. GGG Discussion on: September 14, 2017, 04:26:16 PM
I already made a thread on this fight months ago. Anyway, im waiting until the last moment to place some bets. It's a hard fight, but im leaning towards GGG on split decision. Canelo is thought, and he is smart, he has learned a lot in the past few years.

But I also consider a GGG KO in the late rounds. If I have to go for KO, I would say round 10 for GGG with an exhausted Canelo that can't take any more punishement, so probably TKO.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH - will it go lower on: September 14, 2017, 03:19:32 PM
It is on a long term bull , but short-term I would stay away from it.

I would stay away long term too. Honestly what is Ethereum going to offer long term? Hasn't it been demonstrated that their technology is vaporware?

The entire point of Ethereum thus far has been deploying ICO's. Take that away and the market is pretty much guaranteed to crash.

If China banning crypto exchanges crashes BTC, imagine what it can do to Ethereum coupled with the ICO ban.

If you didn't sell the Bitcoin top I guess at this point you are better off holding and hoping for the best.

Just a day to go for the true fight of the year. Press release:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hq_k2jAD6xc

These guys aren't the entertaining personalities of Floyd and McGregor, but at the end of the day it will be a great fight with a lot on the line. Golovkin is risking his undefeated record and Canelo needs to prove that he is indeed the current of face of boxing.

If Golovkin wins and he continues on a winning streak, he may break Mayweather's 50-0, because I don't see anyone stopping Golovkin anytime soon to be honest.
295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pacquiao vs. Horn - REMATCH! on: September 14, 2017, 11:34:09 AM
I think Pacquiao was waiting for their rematch this is what he wants to do and prove themselves to the people who really the champion and deserving. If they rematch Pacquiao will win, because their fight is questionable and most of people says and believe that Pacquiao will won on their fight. And we will know who really is the winner or the champion. Pacquiao become stronger when they rematch again and the champion of their rematch, they really needs to rematch.

The rematch should not happen in Australia. A lot of people think that Australia judges ere rigged to make Horn win (Horn is Australian). Well this could be or not be true, but to better leave all the conspiracy theories out, the next match should happen in a neutral country, so not Phillipines and not Australia, any other place should do.

And recent news point that it will be in 2018:

Am I the one and only guy thinks that Max's aggresive ride is nice for the eye but deadly for his F1 car?

Yeah and congratulations for Lewis, imo he will be a monster till the end of the F1 2017 season.

I think lewis hamilton not monster driver in formula one
hamilton is good performance because car is good, above another team, maybe this now only ferari can compete with mercedes

The car is too much of a deciding factor in Formula 1. I used to always watch the races but it's reaching a point where it's just 90% car and 10% pilot.

One of the best pilots in the current rooster or I might say the best active pilot is Fernando Alonso and his career is stuck in the mud due an unlucky car. If FA had a killer car he would be the new Michael Schumacher.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for alt coins at 1 satoshi with high potential of being big on: September 13, 2017, 02:16:11 PM
Yaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy

I wannaaaaa buuyyyyyyyyyy

You need to look at the total coin supply too. Only because a coin is worth 1 satoshi, doesn't mean that in relation to its total supply it's worth more than that. There are some real shitcoins that are stuck at these prices and will never pump.

Focus more on fundamentals when trying to find a cheap coin for a potential pump, then look at the chart. It is a combination of both, not just buying ever shitcoin worth 1 sat.
298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / If you fall for this FUD you deserve a bullet to the brain. on: September 13, 2017, 11:49:19 AM
It's is a simple as that.

Are people really dumping their coins because some dumb boomer whose doesn't know shit about any of this, claims it is a fraud? Haven't you learned anything yet?

http://fortune.com/2017/09/12/jamie-dimon-bitcoin-cryptocurrency-fraud-buy/

Or is it because some commie chink country decides to ban whatever the fuck?

http://www.businessinsider.com/china-ban-bitcoin-exchanges-2017-9

Really? this is it?

I am truly disgusted by how many pussies are involved in bitcoin. If you can't hold through bankster FUD, you don't deserve to hold any BTC, so actually yes, sell your god damn BTC to someone else that will not panic sell next time a bankster decides to FUD on fakestream media. You cucks will complain about how volatile BTC is, but you are causing the volatility yourselves by reacting to news like a bitch.

299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BITCORE (BTX) Bitcoin snapshot , 3 % weekly airdrop on: September 12, 2017, 03:26:08 PM
Bitcoincore? Never even heard of it

Old time classic is BTC and will stay a classic for as long as there are crypto's

Just another shitcoin like Bitcoin Cash or any other fork. Right now there's also going to be another hardfork of Bitcoin called "Bitcoin Gold", I dont know what it is, probably just another useless clone.

I don't mind if people want to fork Bitcoin to create their altcoin as soon as they don't pretend that their fork is the real Bitcoin. I'll just get the coins and dump them for real Bitcoin as always.
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I need some advice on NEO on: September 12, 2017, 02:39:32 PM
I bought 79 coins at $30.7 like a dummy... Anyway I'm down quite a large amount. I'm not hoping to sell and take the loss, but I may if things don't look up.
I am hoping if anybody can give their insight as to whether or not NEO may bounce back.

I was thinking it would bounce back to at least $28 range if China brings out good news this week, but no sign of that as of now.

Any opinions?

Well, the top was $48, it could have been way worse. One of the reasons I never buy during pumps is to not end up bagholding for months to years, and this may be your fate now if you don't want to sell at a loss.

It takes extreme patience. You must hope that NEO keeps developing and keeps landing good deals.

I think with these type of coins, your best bet is that they get a big brand involved, because that tends to pump nicely.
