281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are you doing now? on: July 11, 2020, 10:44:16 PM
Almost a month now, since the start of the Lockdown here in our country, and guess what? I already played all my games in both PC and Mobile. Also did spend some on Online Casinos and end up losing. Up to the current time I do not know what can I do something new that can ease my boredom. Already finished watching some animes and series like The Good Doctor and Sex Education. This is true, and somewhat giving me crazy Ideas to do but still playing Online doesn't really help that much. I know already that living here online doesn't suit me, that's why I really find it awesome for some people who can withstand this kind of habit for almost years now.

Sounds amazing, but too bad it's too boring when you experienced it.

I suppose what you're describing is you being a passenger for all of the activities you got involved with, which in its own way is good because you're not addicted to any of those things. However, there are types of people who would be happy to just play their favourite game 24/7 each day and everyday and for these types of people the lockdown has been nothing but a mere event.

On the more +ve side, with all the time the lockdown provided for many of us one great way to make the best use of the time is to invest in yourself in whichever way you seem fit. This may be education, relaxation, sports or just being lazy and heavy online tournaments. It's an opportunity for improvement and realisation of the freedom we kinda all get for granted!
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust USDT? on: July 11, 2020, 09:58:39 PM
USD Tether is a Bitfinex issued ERC-20 token which is claimed to be backed by dollar at 1:1 ratio. There are controversial opinions about this and some say it's a scam.

Do you trust USDT or believe it might be a scam?

I'd say yes and no. At the moment, I'm not leaning towards negativism as I've dealt with them and I can't say I can complain. However, their accusations have increased lately and going forward I think given that this platform is 100% centralised it is best to be cautious like with any other centralised platform.
283  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any limit or holding stable coins.....? Any risk of hodl the max coins? on: July 11, 2020, 07:17:34 PM
Is there any risk of holding the maximum stable coins.

I'd say as a word of caution that can be applied to anything you can think of, is that there's always some risk and nothing is risk free.

As for holding stable coins, hell yeah there's a risk. The platform could get hacked or the people might shut down and either way you lose your money. Always think that if you're not the one holding your own money then that money is at risk. It really is that simple!

I could still remember too, though the most useful cryptocurrency exchange on the list provided by op is Binance exchange. Have tried series of cryptocurrency exchange but discovered that the best that provide security and liquidity if I may say is Binance, although, I occasionally used some others but with little funds or.coins for trade compare to Binance exchange.

I agree that out of the exchange platforms mentioned in this post Binance is among the top most popular ones, and even coinbase is rated pretty good. I personally, have used both and for large withdrawals I prefer to use Binance whereas for coins and token interchanges I found bestchange to be quite decent.

Obviously, which exchange platform you use depends on your work so best to look into these properly before committing to them.
285  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Automation Nowadays on: July 10, 2020, 09:01:35 PM
Papi, 50% won't work - half of the profits yet none of the risk. Unless you post some SOLID proof of performance, this won't fly.
What is the risk? have you even read what it says? Have you contacted the Manager? I think not. There is no risk. You pay 50% of the profit you earn. You don't have to pay anything! The software is currently in the last stage of testing and will be provided at the end of the video software, how it works!

The fact that you don't even give any proof of how the system works but instead advertise the 50% profit margin is a little on the line of mistrust. There's no guarantee what the software does and how it works or whether there are any loops holes you could exploit. This is why proof of performance should come first, without legitimacy everyone reading your post will think nothing but 'scam', even if this may not be you!
286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin soon will become a boring investment? on: July 10, 2020, 08:13:15 PM
Bitcoin is too volatile to be a boring investment.

That's correct, BTC is so volatile so it will always attract investors and the like. The fact that major cryptocurrencies like BTC and ETH have even been added to platforms like eToro used for regular investment in stock and shares, bonds etc just shows that crypto investment is becoming more popular or at least is attracting more curious people. I'd say that't definitely a sign of growth rather than shrinkage.
287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for thesis? on: July 10, 2020, 05:18:50 PM
Could it be possible for a bitcoin to become a thesis? I mean its a way of spreading awareness of btc. What do you think?
A thesis on BTC would only be possible if an educational institution would endorse that and probably if the student is self-funded and willing to be 'self-taught' also. As it is there aren't many institutions teaching or having a course in crypto or BTC but in theory if the above criteria are met this could be possible.

I do have my doubts that even after accomplishing the writing of one such thesis, the impact won't be that great and I'm not sure even if people would trust it as unbiased information unless somehow it was reviewed by a well-known expert in the field and even then it may carry its own levels of doubt.
288  Economy / Gambling / Re: Welcome to Casino Reviews.fun on: July 10, 2020, 02:32:21 PM
It redirects to coinflip that doesn't really have reviews there.

On my end, the webpage doesn't go to coinflip but instead to the intended page but similar to you there's hardly a review there  Huh
The site looks nice and glamorous but doesn't really contain the content you describe at all, in fact the list of casinos under your so called review is 'super' limited and bias and you guessed it 'no review'. So at this stage, I'm not sure what it is you're after, this is not looking like a review site to me.

In the long term we are talking about house edge and as long as there is a house edge the gambler is doomed to lose money. You can make a quick buck, and maybe you could make a quick buck back to back, that seems like the only possible method to make money honestly.

In a sense it is clear that no matter which casino you got to and which strategy you use as a gambler or an occasional player you're deemed indeed to lose at some point even if you probabilistically happen to win at first. The reason for this is simple - house edge.

Of course, this doesn't apply to casinos whose algorithm can be exploited and manipulated such that you always win even after considering the house edge.
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Know what you getting into on: July 09, 2020, 10:08:30 PM
You are right but things have took an unexpected turn in crypto space now, not like the past anymore, ethereum and ripple are old altcoins from serious teams, we have determined team in those days but they are now limited, right now it's safer to always watch new altcoins you keep in your wallet, holding them for long without checking on them can result in big loss

I'm not sure I agree with you that crypto has become unstable, specially in terms of long term holding of coins. ETH like many other coins are going to improve but it will take some time until the market picks up more momentum.

At the moment most coins aren't going through their best times, instead are withstanding the unprecedented toll of the pandemic. This has also been obvious for the traditional stock market, and taking into account BTC price crypto isn't doing bad...
291  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading using someone else's funds on: July 09, 2020, 07:43:48 PM
Well why the hell do you want to accept the loan if you are such a 'self proclaimed good trader' when you can easily trade with your own funds and grow them to trillions ( as you are a good trader). Why split profits when you can have it all ?
The answer to my question lies in the very fact that there is something shady about you (may be you want to lure some newbie to contact you for trading).
How come you be a good trader when you do not even know how to divide profits ( simple percentage math) ?

You've hit it right in the spot!!! As a proclaimed trader this maths shouldn't be a problem or else I have no idea how you got your profit in trading   Roll Eyes
And even if someone was to provide funds then there's no guarantee that 1st you'll not run away with the money and 2nd that you'll even make any profit and 3rd whether you'll even share that profit. Brokers are there for a reason and you can't act all on your own.

Warning to the 'greedy' ones on here reading this ridiculous 'post', don't give your money to this person or if you're thinking about it at least have some collateral or assurance in place before engaging in business, though this is not something many people would recommend.
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You want the best for your new project? on: July 08, 2020, 10:51:55 PM
I am not really interested in projects that do IEO on the exchange mentioned.

In addition to the above, there really isn't any point in paying these 'bad' reputation exchanges a penny in the hope that they can lead and manage and IEO. This is just asking to get kicked in the face! Instead, if you want to go through the IEO route then the best word of advice is to consider looking at exchanges with a good and credible portfolio (I won't name any) but a few of the big exchanges supported a few IEO...
293  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It's ok if your profits are less on: July 08, 2020, 09:59:14 PM
So guys, it's ok if your profits are less. You are at least making profits while things could have gone the other way around.

I think as long as you're happy then that's fine. To take this up a notch, it is the general consensus that if you can take a profit you can be happy with then go for it as the market could always go bearish. However, at the end of the day you take as much risk as your comfortable with and that's a good approach to trading Smiley
294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Hashrate Increases on: July 08, 2020, 05:23:57 PM
This indicates that the crypto mining industry remains healthy after halving and a little selling pressure from miners.
The combination of at least miners selling Bitcoin, an optimistic long-term technical structure, increasing HODL and growing interest from large investors and institutions, increases the chances of a new rally in 2021.

I suppose this pressure acted in weeding out the amateur miners and only those with enough resources and who were proficient enough remained. This turn out of events is not completely unexpected as even if the pressure is felt by others the gaps will be sealed, especially when taking into account the grand scheme of things. The halving only restrained resources, made it more difficult for miners but the rewards are just as measurable, and I feel that the industry is one in which adversity won't win.
295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin truly a safe-haven asset? on: July 07, 2020, 10:20:01 PM
I don't guarantee that Bitcoin is a completely secure asset. But Bitcoin also has many benefits such as:
1. P2P Transfer instant.
2. You can transfer anywhere (same difference in gold, Bitcoin can be transferred everywhere).
3. In addition, transfer costs are very low.
4. Trading profits are enormous.
And many more advantages.

I agree in that BTC cannot be regarded as a safe asset to invest in due to large price volatility which at times of price dumps slumps 'consumer's' confidence.
Indeed, BTC is the most valuable asset to have as a coin but this also attracts a lot of fraudulent activity. So while there are clear advantages to owning BTC (as above) the risk is just as high and because of this BTC isn't a safe-heaven asset.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your opinion about HEX? on: July 07, 2020, 07:43:46 PM
Currently, 1 HEX = 1 Satoshi. Can it go up a few fold?

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/hex/
It will never go up the only way it can go is way, way down. The announcement thread made it obvious that this is not a worthy project and that in fact some people are convinced this is a scam.

In any way, it is still better worth your time looking at other more prominent altcoins rather than ones with >99% failure rate  Smiley
297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to spend Bitcoin on: July 07, 2020, 05:07:34 PM
Despite BTC and crypto in general being increasingly under-recognised among most people (worldwide) which again links back to us being more active about increasing adoption, there are so many different ways to spend BTC from the retail industry, to leisure, food and even postoffice. The list is just enormous but there's still a lot more we need to do.
298  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there a correlation between price and major wallet upgrades? on: July 07, 2020, 02:12:45 PM
Beginning of 2020: BSV wallet ver. 2 released => price surged

A few months later: Reddcoin and Cardano had major upgrades => price surged for both

Is there a correlation or just coincidence? I doubt that this reflects a correlation between wallet upgrade releases and coin price change, even if there is a tiny correlation that is not significant enough to be trusted. The reason for this is that traders and others heavily involved in the market don't really use wallets, they instead use exchanges. The pumps seen cannot be as a result of wallet upgrades, as only holders really use wallets.
299  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: July 06, 2020, 10:25:00 PM
When the contest starts, it is going to be really awesome. Look at the leaderboard right now when there is absolutely nothing given away, some guy wagered over 5 btc and second one has over 1 btc as well, that is with zero reward at the end and they are still this high. Which tells me if they do end up making a contest and actually give something proper away, I am pretty sure they are going to actually get people who would wager over 10 bitcoins and maybe even more. I know they have been saying there will be a contest for a long time, but I can't wait for it! I hope it will start soon enough so we can see all the whales come out of their hiding spot.

You say that the wagered amounts have actually been close to 9 BTC and given this the hype of contests is on the lookout but perhaps they're waiting to see how high it can actually go without having to pay any of it back Huh I'm not saying this is exactly what this sounds like, only postulating the different scenarios.
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What Happens To The Altcoins If Bitcoin Drops Strong? on: July 06, 2020, 08:15:20 PM
Generally, the price of Bitcoin is able to affect the price of Altcoin. However, this relationship is not always predictable. Bitcoin is the main currency, though Fiat currency, Tether, and Ethereum are also frequently used. When the Bitcoin price was dropped, the Altcoin price slowly also dropped.
In the same respect, while BTC is tightly linked to how the Altcoins behave, as history showed in the event of large BTC drops some of the Altcoins are likely to follow. This is because the BTC in a way determines the strength of the crypto coins markets and is an indicator of people's confidence in the industry.

That is to say that maybe not all altcoins will drop if BTC drops, but the ones with a high market cap will likely follow BTC's trend, whilst other smaller coins might still keep on pumping, often as an act of artificial pump.
