Just a note for those who ordered on DHGate tio pay via credit card: Was asking Tim with Bitmain a question on another product and he mentioned that my  DHGate S5 order should ship within the next two days. My order was very recent, so if you have a DHG order it should be shipping now or very soon.

284  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Bitmain Antminer U3 Setup [HD] on: March 23, 2015, 06:16:59 PM
Got a U3 today and can't get cgminer to recognize it. Computer knows it is there, driver is correct. Tried it in direct usb2, powered hub 2, and usb 3.

Installed cgminer 4.9 instead of the newest one and it works now.

Using BFG for my nanofurry's and my BFL single. Have a friend sending me an Antminer U3 to ad to my "junk" miner collections. Is it officially supported now, and if so in what version?

How does everyone feel about the dwindling hash rate?

Hopefully the hash rate picks up.   It's been 34hrs since the last block, hopefully we hit one soon  Smiley

It's blocktastic!

291  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Bitmain Antminer S5 Setup [HD] on: March 19, 2015, 04:39:02 AM
With the open top/bottom design is it better to put these on a bakers rack style open air shelf, or a solid shelf to allow some air-pattern-control?

My miners are on a solid steel work cart so wondering if they will do well on the steel, or if I should get a riser with open slats?
292  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Where to buy miners on: March 18, 2015, 04:21:43 AM

296  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: ASIC Miner (Butterfly Labs Single @60Gh/s) Miner for 10-36 hours then stops. on: March 16, 2015, 05:28:46 AM
No answers for you... but I just upgraded the fans in my Single30 which I believe has the same case set-up as yours, so if you need one of the old fans I'd be glad to send it (or both) if you cover shipping.

Or if you prefer new, I replaced mine with these:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007RESFYK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Temps are great (50-55) and MUCH quieter than the stock fans.
297  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Judging Results? on: March 15, 2015, 10:12:44 PM
Thanks. Been thinking about clocking it up a tad. Temps are stable and fans aren't running at full speed so the system has more to give Smiley

Adding a 1TH miner this week, then will be willing to "play" with this one a little more.

300  Bitcoin / Mining support / Judging Results? on: March 15, 2015, 07:30:09 PM
So I am 11 days in with my first real miner (Antminer s3+) and am pleased with the 100% uptime and the gh/s average. Any thoughts or advice on the actyal performance and results?
