I rather advice to have both then just 1. Because bitcoin is good when you want to make day to day online payments. While cash is handy for your real life payments.
The moment bitcoin adoption will come i am certain that you can use bitcoin in fysical shops too.

Most "investment" sites are just ponzi and pyramid schemes, its considered somehow like gambling. But investing in trading altcoins could be more safe and profitable surely
