281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ban in india on: July 16, 2018, 11:05:01 AM
There comes a notice dated 03/04/2018 from the Reserve Bank of India clearly stating that using bitcoin or any other crypto currency in India is strictly illegal and those who are using it are requested to stop it and withdraw their money within 3 months from the date of issuing of the notice and then after 3 months , Reserve Bank of India has banned it and now the use of crypto currency in India is illegal but still there are news that there could be some amendments in this notice further.
282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Remember when Bitcoin was new and..... on: July 16, 2018, 10:52:38 AM
I remember in 2011 when you could watch ads that payed 0.01 btc each, i found them on this very forum and used to watch them all day from work. #GoodTimes

What do you remember from the early Bitcoin days? Share your memories here!  Cheesy Cool Roll Eyes
With my stories from the past, I am clear with this one thing that bitcoin is very sustainable crypto currency and since when it was introduced in 2098 and till now it has made tremendous progress and I seriously respect bitcoin for this, I know the time when people considered bitcoin a Ponzi scheme and called it a buy, though some calls it now also but they then rejected that thing are now regretting and including me and those who has believe it are now the bitcoin billionaires.
283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TIPS to be come victorious in bitcoin on: July 16, 2018, 10:21:59 AM
My suggestion to everyone would be to be calmed, don't be greedy, have a patience in everything. Success will definitely touch your feet, never ever quit. Bitcoin's price is always volatile, as we see it's dump price and the market is red, never lose hope.

Always remember this one " He who quits does not succeed, he who succeeds does not quit".
First of all bitcoin is already victorious in many countries and no need to be that much worried about the bitcoin but still there are place and specifically the remote areas where people are not aware of bitcoin and the reason being that there is no access to internet to those places and that is why those people are unaware of bitcoin so for the victory of bitcoin, first we guys need to make sure that each and every person knows about the bitcoin and this would be only possible by creating awareness among people.
284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FIAT promotes misery!: Bitcoin promotes prosperity! on: July 16, 2018, 10:07:32 AM
6 words tell it all!
Countries that have failing currencies can tell you first hand!
It is not IF but WHEN the almighty US Dollar implodes!
As we all know that crypto is better than all Fiat currencies around in all the aspects and no matter what the conditions will be but I am sure for one thing that crypto will replace the Fiat currency and there are thousands of reasons to justify this thing. Bitcoin more specifically has always proved its worth by abling millions of people in finding their jobs and earning their livelihood so no wonder if you will say that bitcoin will bring prosperity if it will be introduced world wide.
285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in a Blame Game on: July 16, 2018, 09:32:07 AM
With all the emotion surrounding the fate and future of cryptocurrency in India, it was just a matter of time before Bitcoin entered big politics and big scandals in Delhi. This week, the Indian National Congress (INC), one of the two leading parties in the country, accused its major political opponent, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), of being complicit in a “bitcoin scam”. On Thursday, INC spokesman Shaktisinh Gohil demanded a judicial probe into an alleged money-laundering scheme using the cryptocurrency.

source: https://news.bitcoin.com/the-daily-bitcoin-enters-indian-politics-blockchain-obsession-grows/

well its not only those country thought bitcoin is a scam because there is a lot of people use investing scheme to take advantage to other trader.
I think bitcoin is always been in blame game and now I am started getting that most of the people criticise bitcoin because now they are not left with any other political issues and that is why they are bringing the issue of bitcoin and want to get the chance of criticising ruling party once again and if we talk about the India then the congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party are supposed to be two major opponents and I thing they are bringing the issues of bitcoin in order to satisfy their political satisfaction.
286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With Bitcoin Maximum cap . Can it be used by the whole world ? on: July 16, 2018, 09:15:20 AM
The maximum numbers of bitcoin to be mined is 21 million bitcoins. Bitcoin can not be used as money by the whole world because it has a maximum cap. My opinion . What is your stand ?

Irrespective of the number that how much it can be mined let’s say 22 million but still there are other ways and factors in which bitcoin can be used. Bitcoin is very sustainable crypto currency and bitcoin can be use in other ways other than mining also. Bitcoin is a type of crypto currency and is a circulating crypto currency and let’s say if if it has reached maximum point then it can be circulated among people and it is a type of crypto currency that can be use by the entire world.
287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reason why bitcoin won't last long (which are you afraid of?) on: July 16, 2018, 09:00:37 AM
After surfing through the good side of BItcoin I was asked to give reasons why bitcoin won't last by a friend I searched through the web and found the following

1: Exposure to Bitcoin-Specific Scams and Fraud.
2: Black Market Activity May Damage Reputation and Usefulness.
3: Susceptible to High Price Volatility.
4: No Chargebacks or Refunds.
5: Potential to Be Replaced by Superior Cryptocurrency.
6:Environmental Ills of Bitcoin Mining.
7: Bitcoins Are Not Widely Accepted.
8: Wallets Can Be Lost.
9: Risk of Unknown Technical Flaws
10: No Physical Form

Guess what non of those mentioned above was big enough to discourage my friend from joining Cryptocurrency (buying bitcoin).

Which of the following disadvantages are you afraid of and how do you think it can be resolved

I think these all could not be the possible reason that you have stated that could case damage to or threat to bitcoin in future. Though bitcoin is very sustainable and volatile and versatile and vunerable crypto currency and being sustainable bitcoin will lasts for many decades but still there are some reasons or we can say some activities that could cause threat to bitcoin in future , if these activities will not stopped then they could create problems in the future of bitcoin and the top most thing is it’s illega use.

289  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will this year's bitcoin price potentially surpass the highs of last year? on: July 14, 2018, 08:23:50 AM
Bitcoin continues to experience pressure after approaching the fifth month of a bearish moving average.
Bitcoin was trading at $ 7.881.40, falling 4.27% on Wednesday (04/23) on the Bitfinex exchange.

The five-month moving average of Bitcoin was at $ 8.916, and the 10-month moving average was at $ 8.379, well off the high of nearly $ 20,000 in December. A fall in prices usually indicates lower price movements in the long run, some analysts said.

Total market capitalization totaled $ 344 billion, down from $ 382 billion on Tuesday.

Other digital coins are also moving lower. Ethereum, the world's second largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, shed 10.36% to $ 620.25 on Bitfinex exchange. Ripple, the third largest virtual currency, tumbled 8.60% to $ 0.61299 while Litecoin was at $ 124.26 with a 6.57% jump.

The instability of the digital asset market could be more about how investors view than other factors that typically impact fiat currencies, a research paper from the University of Warwick suggests.
Trading volumes are driven by past returns and market uncertainty, while confidence in blockchain and digital currency technology also impacts prices.
Bitcoin was introduced in 2008and since then its valuation has increased and to the very surprise , in the last few months of last year and specifically in the last December, its valuation has been inflated to a very great extent and that time I was also repenting that why I am not owning a bitcoin but then this year doesn’t bring any good news for bitcoin because I think valuation has been deflated to very low extent but now the good news that it has again started inflating and according to some wise economists it will further inflate in the coming months of this year.
290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Most Crypto investors are Cowards on: July 14, 2018, 08:08:46 AM
The answer is just simple, we all are cowards  Smiley. Everyone will like to wake up one day and find out that Btc has reached 50,000. All these people are scared to invest hugely in bitcoin but want to become  Crypto millionaire and Billionaire. You ask them why they are scared and they are like crypto is volatile and so on. This is the time to set the record straight make people realize what they are into. If you are scared then there is no need for you to join this amazing fraternity Smiley.
Here you are right buddy that we want to become very rich but none of us wants to take any kind of risk, I mean that just grow up man, you all have to do very hard work and need to take risks to be a rich man , it’s not just a fairy tail, in which you will get your princess and will become rich, same is with bitcoin, if you want to be the bitcoin billionaires and want to be a part of bitcoin success stories then you have to take risks and need to invest something big into bitcoin.
291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto need to step out of Bitcoins shadow? Opinions please? on: July 14, 2018, 07:54:26 AM
Hi guys, just wondering about other peoples opinion on this.

In order for the world of Crypto to grow and be mass-adopted, do you think crypto needs to step out of the shadow of Bitcoin or do you think its the other way round and that people should scoop up Bitcoin and let it always rule the roost?

I only say this as any sort of negativity that Bitcoin receives, shouldn't really affect some promising projects and cryptos that are essentially doing their own thing and making their own progress- only to be pegged back by Bitcoin losing value!

Yes i understand that all cryptos are tethered to the price of BTC, but will it/should it always be that way?
I don’t think that crypto is something without the bitcoin. As we all know that crypto is a very big name for all of us and to the most surprise is that we all consider crypto as a new way of technology and a new way of development and moreover crypto consisists of many virtual currencies and all together constitutes crypto currency but still no currency is that superior as bitcoin is , i guess and I don’t think that crypto could survive if it comes out from bitcoin shadow.
292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Brisbane International Airport Now Accept Cryptocurrencies on: July 14, 2018, 07:39:18 AM
I recently heard that Brisbane International Airport (Australia) now accepts bitcoin and various cryptocurrency payments. Since it is third busiest airport in Australia and every merchant of airport accepts cryptocurrency payments it will be a great news for crypto enthusiasts. This project lead by Australian payment provider Travelbybit.
And there comes a another good news for the bitcoin. As we all know that bitcoin was introduced in 2008 and at that time people were not even ready to believe bitcoin and called it a Ponzi scheme or a fraud scam but those who believe it that time are bitcoin billionaires, though there are very few countries and organisations who has started accepting bitcoin payment but still there are many countries and millions of people who are in against of bitcoin and we should appreciate the great initiative taken by this Brisbane airport.
293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Iran bans banks from using cryptocurrencies on: July 13, 2018, 01:01:20 PM
Iran banned the use of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies by banks and financial institutions on Monday amid ongoing debate over how best to regulate the technology. "The use of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in all the country's monetary and financial centres was banned," the central bank said in a statement overnight.
Not only Iran 🇮🇷, there are many countries and if clearly speaking then not many but almost every country is in against of bitcoin and it is all because of its illegal use because there is no such proper authentic regulating body over bitcoin who could keep eye over all bitcoin transactions and this could only possible when bitcoin will be legalised and centralised globally and country needs to understand this thing that inspite of opposing bitcoin they should legalise it, so that they can boost the development of their own country.
294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Dump problem due to Short orders/bitcoin futures on: July 13, 2018, 12:44:40 PM
Hello

it seem that those dumping prices are affected due to short orders of brokers which are using bitcoin and a financial instrument to make money, instead of its ideology of holding/ capital investment.

due to those bitcoin futures, there arent any " limited" bitcoins nomore, and those brokers or citiziens ( whom can contact brokers to buy them those futures ) , as they can buy them at its present value without using any wallet or register to annoying exchange platforms with tons of aml/kyc laws.

i think those 2 things are destorying the bitcoin as banks are also possible to go shorts via the bitcoin futures without having a problem with the regulations as its a stock market.
Bitcoin has 3 important characteristic and they are it is sustainable, versatile and volatile crypto currency and this volatile nature is responsible for this much flactuation in the valuation of bitcoin and moreover this is very common in every investment that the valuation flactuates but this time the valuation has been deflated to very low extent and I think this is all because many governments has denied to legalise bitcoin in their nation and this has left a very negative impact on people and now they don’t want to invest into bitcoin and this leads to short of order.
295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lack of Bitcoin awareness on social media. on: July 13, 2018, 12:29:08 PM
I have 1800 friends on facebook, largely 22-32 year olds from the UK. I just searched "bitcoin" in "posts by friends" and only got 1 hit.  If the bubble is really at breaking point, then why is only 1 of my friends talking about bitcoin?  Do we not owe it to ourselves to push bitcoin awareness more on social media?
Bitcoin has millions of people to invest in and there are millions of people who are investing into bitcoin and find this very much trust worthy but still there are many people who are completely unaware of bitcoin and specially those who are living in remote areas where there is no access of internet because internet is the only requirement for every crypto currency so for those people we guys need to awareness so that everyone could know about the crypto currency.
296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: crypto currency ban in india on: July 13, 2018, 11:59:30 AM
hi......... if in case of crypto currency exchange or use of currency  has banned by RBI in india  means what is the further steps to withdraw the crypto currency
Crypto being the most controversial currency because of its volatile nature because its valuation keeps on flactuation with time and now in India there comes a notice on April 3 that all the crypto currencies will be ban in India so all the people have to withdraw their money from crypto and then they banned crypto from Indian market on July 2 but then there comes another news that there will be some amendments in that notice.
297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin behavior during a recession on: July 10, 2018, 05:14:55 PM
What do you guys think will happen to the price of bitcoin (and altcoins for that matter) during a recession? Often when stocks went down a little crypto market would surge. But how will bitcoin behave in a full on world economic recession? Because history tells us that a recession is coming, we haven't had one in ten years, it might be 2018,2019, or even 2020 but it's coming. Do you think the traditional market and the cryptocurrency market are negatively or positively correlated? (Or are they correlated at all for that matter?)
As we all know that bitcoin is sustainable, volatile and versatile crypto currency and this volatile nature of bitcoin is responsible for so frequent flactuation in the valuation of bitcoin and this troubled most of the people that they might suffer from loss and this is the biggest reason that why people are now hesitating in investing into bitcoin because this time the rates has been deflated to very low extent but people needs to understand that pump and dumps are very common in every investment there is nothing new with bitcoin.
298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto going strong now, where were you during market price fall down? on: July 10, 2018, 04:47:14 PM
Crypto going strong now and i will going to ask you question. Where were you during market price falldown? Investing more crypto? or selling more crypto just because of fear that bitcoin might end? Well if you had sell your crypto better not invest huge amount of money if you will going to be afraid to lose some of it or even all of  your money.
We have seen a tremendous progress of bitcoin since the year 2008 in which it was introduced till the December month of last year, bitcoin has benefited each and every person who has invested into bitcoin but the recent months of this year was not quite good for bitcoin, valuation has deflated to very low extent and has deflated like never before in the history but now again it is improving and bitcoin is again getting back onto its track.
299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Awareness is the biggest influence. on: July 10, 2018, 04:32:32 PM
So we all know BTC drops when people sell their coins... but the peaking is purely because of investments...

The mall in S.Korea that started accepting BTC as of this month played a massive roll in BTC's growth. Obviously this is because BTC's awareness is growing!

Surely there are ways to bring the awareness of cryto to the population.

Are there any other 'blow ups' of crypto that you have heard of? Similar to the mall...
What are you doing to spread the awareness? Smiley
Bitcoin is known to almost every citizen around the world but still there are many people who are completely unaware of bitcoin and specially the people in remote areas where ithere is no accessibility of internet because internet is the prime need for operating bitcoin and we have to create awareness among these people and need to aware them about the bitcoin because in the end our future is going to end with bitcoin only therefore we have to aware every person about bitcoin.
300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people need to use Bitcoin for Money laundering? on: July 10, 2018, 04:22:47 PM
Between 2004 and 2010, HSBC laundered Billions of Dollars for the Mexican Drug cartels and nobody blinked an eye. After

7 years of doing this, they got busted and they paid US$1.9bn in fines. {This could be recovered in profits, within a few

weeks} Most people saw this as a slap on the wrist for the people who were involved with this. Not one person working for the

Bank got jail time for doing this.  Roll Eyes  https://observer.news/featured/5-years-ago-hsbc-fined-record-us1-9bn/

Ross Ulbricht, was sentenced to life in prison without parole for creating and running Silk Road, which allegedly facilitated

the sale of $250 million worth of drugs.

Why are we seeing such double standards, when Bitcoin is involved?

Bitcoin is very sustainable and versatile crypto currency and it is like use by almost every people around the world and the best part is that it has very safe and secure transaction and that’s why people find bitcoin much trust worthy and the best part about its transactions and the thing that makes its transactions that much secure is its user anonymity that means its transactions are not involving any third party seizure and I think this advantage of bitcoin is misuse by some social defaulters in money laundering and other illegal activities too.
