621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a mode of payment on: March 14, 2018, 05:45:20 PM
Just wondering, who is accumulating Bitcoin via using it as a method of being paid, so instead of being paid in dollars or any other amount you ask client to pay you via Bitcoin especially merchants and freelancers. I think it is cool to be paid via Bitcoin because it appreciates so its like you can earn twice if you sell high.
Paying through BTC, sounds very cool, not because it is the mode of online payment or we are paying through the virtual currency, there is lot more than this. By paying through BTC, u not only make payments, it is the kind of investment also because once you receive the BTC in exchange of your goods, then you also save your BTC and can hold it till its valuation inflates and being an asset and the future of currencies, the time is not far away when cryptocurrencies become the mode of transactions.
622  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we help bitcoin grow? on: March 14, 2018, 05:28:05 PM
Bitcoin doesn't hold the promise it once did, explosive growth and adoption, now the only explosion in adoption is the number of segwit users. People are using the lightning network before it's ready, potentially damaging the bitcoin ecosystem.

So I ask you, what can we do to improve bitcoin adoption, reduce fees and protect bitcoin for being crushed by regulations?
BTC is a kind of investment where people invests and get their profit when the valuation inflates and the growth of any investment is only possible when more and more people are investing into it. So if we want the growth of BTC then we have to create awareness among people and tell them the enormous benefits of BTC and their future with BTC. Awareness could be created by organising campaign, debates, advertising it in every remote areas, introducing BTC as a compulsory subject in schooling system. The growth of BTC is only possible when more and more people are knowing about BTC.
623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: March 14, 2018, 06:55:01 AM
I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?
BTC is very innovative idea and millions of people are investing into BTC and get their employment through it. BTC is an asset and could be preserved for future generations so everyone should be aware to BTC and the best thing to tell everyone about BTC is to advertise it everywhere and to advertise BTC is very successful strategy for BTC because in today's time everyone can afford TV and having TV at their homes, so whatever the way it is but BTC awareness is necessary.
624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Worried about btc future on: March 13, 2018, 05:05:11 PM
I see a lot of optimism about bitcoin, which is understandable seeing the price recently.
But I have to admit I'm a little worried about the long term future of btc.
The major problems if the currency still haven't been dealt with. I see 2 major ones:

-Block size. Which makes the delay and fees of transaction rise very fast. Smaller transactions are more and more difficult to make.
-The centralization of the market. China got low cost electricity, which make them by far the most bitcoin mining capable.
-And maybe others that I'm not aware of.

Another thing: The Hard forks that are oddly getting much more frequent than before. (BCH, BTG, Segwitx2 etc...) It almost looks like "attacks" in order to divide us. Now called "airdrops" by the community. Even though they're supposed to solve some of the problems.

All in all, this makes me really worried about btc future. I've been a strong holder since 2014, and I made quite a lot of money with bitcoins, but I begin to doubt now, even though the price is crushing ATM. Please help me keeping faith. Or should I switch to another currency ? Really thinking about ETH recently.
BTC is the boon for the entire humanity and has provided the employment to millions of people and moreover the BTC is most famous among all the cryptocurrencies and in the past year the valuation of BTC has inflated to very high and this is also very sure that in the future the valuation will definitely inflate again and everyone who is investing into BTC will definitely get their profit. So I am not worried about BTC future.
625  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: March 13, 2018, 04:39:12 PM
Bitcoin is difficult to explain. I also felt difficulties in understanding bitcoin for the firs time. Let's share how to explain bitcoin to children of teenagers. In My country I can say 98% children don't know bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin can be future money. If the children not familiar with cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how can they face the digital era in the future.
BTC is very successful and very innovative idea and has attracted the attention of millions of investors and I am very sure for one thing that in the future everyone will own a single bitcoin atleast and if BTC is an asset and is a resource that could be preserved for future generations then it is very necessary that children and students must be teach about BTC and this is only possible when the management will introduce BTC as a subject in schooling system, this could be the most effective way by which students could be aware of BTC.
626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so many people against bitcoin? on: March 13, 2018, 04:31:09 PM
I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin?  is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?

I guess, all these negative rumours about BTC is all because of wrong publicity by the media and in many countries, government also plays a negative role in publicising BTC. Though BTC is very unique and innovative idea and it got the interest of millions of people towards itself because of its numerous benefits but still there are thousands of people who are still unaware of benefits of BTC but in the coming future, I am definitely sure that everyone will be using BTC.
627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is Virtual Money? on: March 13, 2018, 04:15:23 PM
About virtual currency, there are 03 different understandings:

Money is unmanageable, no physical shape and is used in electronic environments, it is called virtual money.
The type is not real value, not guaranteed by cash, gold, and valuable assets.
The money is usually used to pay for games in electronic games, each type of game has a different currency and they can not be used to exchange for each other or to bring out the electronic environment to buy. Other service products are.

The concept of virtual money is born, widely used and most often by the third interpretation itself. With this kind of money, the balance can be managed and easily changed by the issuer without affecting the financial or market economy.
BTC, the all time favorite among all the cryptocurrency, is a huge virtual currency. Actually the virtual currency is a mode of online currency, it's concept is entirely different from that of physical currency, here you need not to manage it and neither there is risk of being stolen by anyone and moreover it provides user anonymity and does not involve any third party seizure. So in summary, virtual currency  is very innovative and impressive thought.
628  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you support the Use of Bitcoin as a National Currency? on: March 12, 2018, 07:23:17 PM
While it is good news for Bitcoin users/hodlers that countries allow the use of Bitcoin as a means of transactions within their border, what will be your position if a country decides to take a step further by using Bitcoin as its national currency?
I am the resident of country India where the BTC is not yet centralized and government declared that they are not responsible for any kind of losses regarding BTC ,so, I guess this would be biggest dream of every bitcoiner that BTC will become the national currency because there are millions of advantages with the bitcoins and the economic market of the future is very much depends on BTC and will definitely become the national currency.
629  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I want ask about price bitcoin on: March 12, 2018, 07:02:49 PM
I want to ask, please answer carefully: D haha. I want to ask you what is the lowest bitcoin at the moment? whether to return to the price as early as 2017?
please answer me thanks , Regrads  Wink
This new year has not yet proved that much benefial for the BTC, the valuation has been deflating continuously and all the bitcoiner is holding their bitcoin for having profit and the lowest valuation to which BTC deflates is about $6k and this condition of BTC was in the month of February and now the current valuation of BTC is 9K USD and now again the valuation of BTC is again inflating . Yes I agree, it not yet reached that 15k USD but it will in the coming future.
630  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Friendly countries on: March 12, 2018, 06:19:22 PM
The country where I live is not a bitcoin friendly country, and I know there are some countries , they are quite friendly for bitcoin. even BITCOIN exchange ATM machines are there. Actually I would like to know what are the most Bitcoin friendly countries in the world at the moment?
Bitcoin is an asset for the planet and will going to be the future of finance in the coming era and years are not away when it will replace the paper currency and everyone have to accept this fact and now it's up-to them that how long will they take to accept it. There are several countries that showed the green flag to BTC and allowed use of bitcoin in their nation. Like Canada, Japan, U.S., has legalized bitcoin in their nation and their resident enjoying BTC there.
631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: That moment when you buy 1BTC at $2500 on: March 12, 2018, 06:08:50 PM
That moment when you buy 1BTC at $2500, and then 3 days later someone buys it at $2000. But I'm guessing that it's the risk involved in investing, so what do I do now? Sell? Or hold on them?
BTC, the biggest cryptocurrency, has helped millions of people in getting their employment and living good life. BTC is an kind of investment where people invest and get their profit and the valuation fluctuates according to the investment of people and this is the very rule of every investment that there is dump after every pump and the same is applicable to BTC also, so, if the valuation of BTC is deflating then one need not to worry and get panic, just hold your bitcoin and wait for the pump again because the day will definitely come when the prices will inflate and don't worry and enjoy your bitcoining.
632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin might be like IBM on: March 04, 2018, 09:05:21 AM
am i the only who is worried that bitcoin might be like IBM we have seen it before one product controls a market then a competitor comes in and the previous king is left in the dust
IBM is international business machine and I am very sure that BTC could never be like IBM because BTC is quite different from other cryptocurrency and it has that potential that it can bring modernization and specially in India, it can fulfill the dream of DIGITAL india. BTC has provided employment to millions of people and moreover the concept of BTC is quite innovative that it has been accepted by the entire world, so according to me BTC is the future.
633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Miss Bitcoin on: March 04, 2018, 07:25:45 AM
What happens if someone loses their bitcoin? Let's imagine that I buy 10,000,000 bitcoin for example. Does the system need to re-create those money?
First, it is next to impossible to lost bitcoin because it is the digital currency and it remains into ur wallet and no-one is able to steal it unless you share your blockchain password to anyone but if accidentally u lost ur BTC, it's impossible to recover it because it's not the paper currency that u can recover it because there are limited number of BTC that has been created and these BTC are keep on circulating, so once you lost them it's next to impossible to recover them.
634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Question on moving out of BTC into USD/EUR on: March 04, 2018, 07:15:29 AM
Ok, so i have a question around this.

After the next alt coin rally, i will be looking to exit around 75% of my portfolio into USD or EUR, so that when there is another BTC dip, i can buy in, rather than holding BTC from the top down.

im not looking to cash out to my bank, just hold in USD or EUR (im in the UK)

i dont really want to use Tether, as im a bit wary of that going boom and taking my money with it.

is the best way to trade into EUR or USD on GDAX and hold it there?

any help, or advice on how people do this greatly appreciated, as ive only been in this a few months and need to work on a plan.
Your concept about BTC is quite impressive, as u are not 100% reliable on one thing but I just want to advice you one thing that at least hold some of ur BTC and not sell them all of the sudden because BTC is an asset and is an resource that could be preserved for future because in future everyone will be using BTC, so the valuation will definitely going to be increase, so just hold some BTC and use ur remaining money in other investment.
635  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did i miss the train? on: March 04, 2018, 07:04:07 AM
I sold my BTC at 8200$ and I have kept USDT. I thought to buy it at a lower price but that didn't happen. And when it comes to price 11000$, i thought it was about to fall and now it is fucking 12700$. I think  many people have the same case.

 What is your advice?
1/ Keep waiting, because it will definitely fall at 8,000, 9,000$
2/ Buy the fucking BTC, because it will reach 15,000$ at the end of this year
3/ Buy another atlcoin any, because i miss the train.
I think I can understand ur condition very well because the same happens to me also. I sold my BTC when the valuation of BTC was Kkk but after selling the valuation get inflates and now the current valuation of BTC is 11k USD and I am also waiting for the valuation to deflate, so I also advise you to wait for the valuation to deflate because in the beginning of 2k18 the valuation decreased and still could not inflate to that extent, so if you missed the train na then wait for that train to come again on the same platform
636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the future of bitcoin dependent on India and China? on: March 04, 2018, 06:45:27 AM
Recent  utterances from India's finance minister seem to have stricken fear in the entire cryptocurrency world. Utterances and
government decisions from these  countries seem to have massive effects on cryptocurrencies. What's the way forward for cryptos, especially  bitcoin without these countries.
Being the resident of India, I am very much aware of situation of BTC in my country. The finance minister of India has clearly declared that government of India has no control over BTC and they are not responsible for any kind of losses regarding BTC but still owning BTC by ur own is not yet illegal in India, one can own it at his own risk, I guess BTC should be positively advertised in India so that more and more people can understand the potential of BTC and obviously the BTC will be  much affected without India and China.
637  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin changes the world on: March 03, 2018, 06:57:59 PM
Will you dare to change the world using Bitcoin? In what way? Share your thoughts.
Obviously BTC has that potential that can bring revolutionary change in the world and can change the world. BTC is an asset for the planet and yes it is the resource that can be saved for the future generation. BTC is the future of finance and the time is not away when everyone will be using BTC and BTC will replace the paper currency very soon. BTC has helped millions of people to overcome the issue of unemployment and helped them providing jobs. So yes BTC can change the world.
638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is creating money out of thin air on: March 02, 2018, 02:56:57 PM
Ex-RBI chairman said "Bitcoin is creating money out of thin air". It is biggest scam of all.   Angry
Bitcoin is not the scam, it's just the rubbish rumor because BTC is the boon for the humanity and BTC could never be the scam because investing into BTC has provided employment and so huge profit to millions of people so BTC could never be the scam, moreover BTC is an asset which can be saved for the future generation and a resource and obviously the day will come when BTC would be able to replace paper currency and would be used by everyone.
639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung is going to support bitcoin on: March 02, 2018, 02:42:17 PM
Today I heard that Samsung is going to make bitcoin mining hardware especially Antminer S9 which I heard that they will name it as 'Samsung S9', with this act by Samsung everyone can understand that Samsung is in the favor of bitcoin and they will strongly support bitcoin. Almost all of the Samsung users will then know about this device and so more and more people will then know about bitcoin and the demand and the users of bitcoin will be increased too much.

I guess this could be the very good marketing strategy for BTC and yes by such great initiative of BTC, more and more could know about bitcoin. Although BTC is very successful and very famous among people but still there are thousands of people in many remote areas where people are completely unaware of BTC and we all know that BTC is an asset and is the future of finance, so everyone should aware of BTC and this step of BTC is very innovative idea in marketing of BTC and this could help thousands of people knowing BTC.
640  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 countries that banned bitcoin on: March 02, 2018, 02:00:20 PM
COUNTRIES THAT BANNED BITCOIN

Before we start to our topic this I want to tell that some of you might know about this but I just wanna share this to those who are not.

Several people believe that bitcoin was a blessing and it was an opportunity
for everyone but not everyone shares the sentiment. From central banks and other finance company, Bitcoin's list of detractors runs for a very long time and gone so deep. But most of the government around the world seeks for the regulation of bitcoin.

Be due to fear, ignorance and protectionism, governments have a tendency to legislate against perceived threats.Countries such as japan protects its citizens to have free trade of the digital currency. But unfortunately not all countries embracing the change of our technology. In some cases citizens have had their assets seized, accounts got frozen and have been locked up, Government can't stop the blockchain from propagating, but they can stop their people in having access to it.

STOP THE BITCOIN!!

Like banning drugs, alcohol and other stuffs banning bitcoin sounds nonsensical and unforceable. That's the exact case in five countries:

1.Bangladesh
2.Bolivia
3.Ecuador
4.Kyrgyzstan
5.Nepal

It was recently reported in https://news.bitcoin.com/bitcoin-illegal-in-nepal-police-arrest-seven-individuals-for-trading-operations/
that there were dozens of bitcoin and crypto enthusiasts get imprison seemingly guilty of little more than operating a small-scale bitcoin exchange.

Meanwhile Ecuador has outlawed bitcoin, nit because they opposed this crypto but because they want to regulate and control it and tether it with the Ecuadorian dollar. An Electronic money designed to operate ad support monetary scheme dollarization.Completing the naughty list of countries that have banned bitcoin is Kyrgyzstan, a tiny landlocked state in Central Asia,
And Bangladesh banned bitcoin, it was 2014 where Bangladesh bank stated that anyone that will be caught using such online currency could be jailed mostly because it's about "MONEY LAUNDERING".

this was already an old news for updated list

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legality_of_bitcoin_by_country_or_territory

so what do you think? will your country will ban the use of bitcoin?
do you know other countries that ban the bitcoins?
Please share it and tell to everyone Smiley
There are many countries that declared BTC as an illegal cryptocurrency because there is no governing body over BTC and this thing compromise the national security and this is the reason for banning BTC in their respective countries but in my country India, conditions are quite different, in India BTC is illegal and government is not the governing body over BTC but u can own BTC, it's not illegal, though government is not responsible for any kind of losses Bt u can own it at ur own risk, I think this is the only disadvantage of BTC and with time this would also end.
