281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum co-founder Secretly Sold $11M Worth of ETH on Christmas Day! Got Outed! on: December 28, 2019, 09:22:10 AM
As time goes by, we are witnessing that even ethereum developers attach more importance to paper money. As a matter of fact, the situation becomes so suspicious, the recent developments in ethereum have become very annoying, with the exception of the lack of innovation, news that can affect price has increased. I wonder if it is time to sell...  Undecided
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Recap for the year 2019 on: December 28, 2019, 09:00:33 AM
The changes in crypto prices since the beginning of this year were positive I think. Compared to the end of last year's prices, there were 3x-4x increases in prices this year. But I do not think the same about the increase in 2019's scammers. The majority of this year's new projects were just money traps. So I am trying to be positive for next year, hoping there will not be such a negative scene as in 2019.
283  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinsbit Exchange on: December 28, 2019, 08:39:07 AM
Maybe you don’t know more about coinsbit. There are lot of scam auctions.most of the Bitcointalk members recommended not to use coinsbit. There reputation is bad,so there is high chance that there coin is not going do well.
It is better not to use this exchange.
This is one of the topics  you talked about: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5195285.0
And this is the trust summary of coinsbit's bitcointalk account: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=2681193
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YouTube vs Crypto on: December 28, 2019, 08:27:59 AM
YouTube finally recognised that the recent Crypto Purge was a "mistake" but the damage is done, what do you have to say about this? I think the damage will get fixed in time because really YouTube has been a very useful platform for crypto
Youtube may have accidentally deleted some videos, but I do not think they are all innocent in this regard. As I read yesterday, there were scam ones among the deleted videos. If this is true, we should thank youtube instead of condemning it. It was opposed to future deception. If there is something I do not know, I would like to know about it.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which is the most profitable alt-coin for mining? on: December 28, 2019, 07:57:55 AM
Can anyone tell me the best profitable alt coin for mining
and what mining machine is best for that alt-coin.
Since I have little knowledge about mining, I can help you with the links I found on the internet.

286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Sinking ship or Sleeping Giant? on: December 27, 2019, 03:23:21 PM
I don't know about giving up on Ethereum at this point. It was too late when I heard Ethereum was sinking because of a recent hacking. Though it's a bummer that Ethereum is being dump, I'm just waiting for it to finish in order to buy some because I know that Ethereum would one day go pass beyond $150. At least we are yet given another opportunity by the dumpers to invest in some cheap Ethereum again.
The current situation of ethereum is very complex, it will surely not be a shitcoin, but the dark clouds on it make me think we are at risk. In order to save the situation, they should trans ETH 2.0 a little faster or make another innovation. Because this market does not move every coin to second place easily.
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO's popularity is starting to slump on: December 27, 2019, 02:53:50 PM
I think it's because no new promising projects that interest people anymore, we can't expect good projects every time, sometimes things will surely get dried, IEO is still a good way of raising fund, let's wait till 2020 maybe new promising projects will show up then we can decide then
Perhaps the issue is not related to ieo/ico but to new projects. How many successful coins/tokens have we won this year? Maybe as much as can be counted with fingers. Nobody trusts new projects anymore. There were ieos that reached hardcap through binance but they were a game that was only to make a profit, and soon they got their own price back.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nothing is wrong with altcoins on: December 27, 2019, 02:34:47 PM
I will start hating altcoins only when bitcoin raise up to 20,000$ and altcoins fail to move up as well, many people are putting blames on altcoins today as if bitcoin is not in loss itself, the ATH of btc was 20k and now it's trading for 7,000+ thats like 12,000$ lost please how will this not affect other altcoins as well?
I think the majority issue is that the prices do not match with previous ones. Because while ethereum's price was $1.4k in bitcoin's $18k time, the ethereum is $130 in $7k. According to this calculation, the price of the ethereum should be around $400-500.

Top altcoins will surely lose value as well, to me this present loss of altcoins are positive, look at coins like LTC, EOS, BNB, these coins are doing fine. You will only have problem if you invest in crap altcoins
Is ethereum crap?  Huh
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEOs on: December 27, 2019, 02:13:09 PM
I have read something about it recently, almost 80% of the sold ieo tokens/coins are below the ieo price. In the top 10 of the list, there were 3 coins sold in binance, where we always know best in ieos. Even though ieos trend at the beginning of the year, it is time to replace them. Even its first sale, bittorrent, is much lower than the sales price.
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCNEX - "SCAM" Withdrawals are no longer available. on: December 27, 2019, 01:53:10 PM
A small response was received in the official channel. Let's see how events develop.

"From team :

We will lock the withdraw function in 20 days.
To fix and update the wallets.
All pending withdrawal transactions will be canceled, funds will be back to wallet.
User can trade normally but can not withdraw in this period."

I found this in the Telegram group, and a few other users have encountered this problem like you. But if the team made a statement about it from the beginning, you should wait. Believe me, technical work is not so easy. You can make such a complaint when developers freeze withdraw button without warning you. Really, was there any pre-warning? Or?
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: December 24, 2019, 01:33:55 PM
The answer is simple, the profits and the promises blur their eyes.
The majority of people who are fooled are newcomers in this market, they have little experience with the cryptocurrency market. Besides, the wealth of crooks stimulates their minds, as soon as their minds are blinded by money they will not be able to think of anything other than giving money to scammers.
Because they do not look at the issue in the right direction. If making money is as easy as the offer of scammers, why are so many people engaged in the trade or other ways. Get 1 coin, double it in every sending and become a millionaire for a few days, even with limited supply. I wonder can greed close the eye completely like that?
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest crypto fraud of all time on: December 24, 2019, 01:09:15 PM
Maybe you want to know about others: https://cointelegraph.com/news/unpacking-the-5-biggest-cryptocurrency-scams

Unfortunately, these kinds of major thefts have occurred and it is not guaranteed that they will not happen in the future. No need to give an opinion about taking any precautions, considering that the plans for big thefts are big too. In such cases, some luck is needed not to lose.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Points Why Crypto Future Will Be Totally Unstoppable on: December 24, 2019, 12:53:26 PM
Honestly i believe Libra is supposed to bring a new huge changes to the world of international transactions but who can predict what will happen about Libra? Because Bitcoin is still the mother of all cryptocurrencies and Libra still relies on fiat currencies as underlying assets. Bitcoin is decentralized and other crypto assets with their own use cases and purposes will likely keep existing side by side of bitcoin. Wrong? Or Right? Drop me your points
Libra's benefit to the needed crypto industry may be about adopting. Because Libra considers crypto the way it wants, not like us. I agree with supporters that it will provide some convenience and will be useful but it is different from the cryptocurrencies we know. But can you see that they can now slowly impel us to their desired destination?
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins getting delisted on: December 24, 2019, 12:12:44 PM
There are reasons for the delisting:
Quote
These criteria include, but are not limited to:

Low trade volume on the exchange
Compromised network security that presents liability for Poloniex and its customers
Deteriorating developer support for the project
Prohibitive cost to upgrading and/or continuing to support the project
Lawsuits, enforcement actions or other legal issues that the project faces
New Poloniex delisted assets, December 2019

Investing in rusty old projects is not the right idea. Looking at whether it is old or new to invest will not give you superiority. Investigate project itself instead, so if you think it is appropriate, then you can research issues related to its age.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for the low to buy more Litecoins on: December 24, 2019, 11:56:15 AM
Litecoin dipped under $40 a few days ago, I am looking for prices under $30 to buy more.  I could buy maybe a couple hundred LTC, depending on the price.
If it is going to happen, I will get some too but, the price is still above $40, and I do not think the time it is gonna drop below $30 is close. In fact, I have not heard about an innovation that will support the price of LTC in the coming days, but if positive expectations are met for next year, the probability of an increase will increase. To my mind, you should consider evaluating the current price as the lowest.
296  Economy / Services / Re: CryptoTalk.Org Signature Campaign [Yobit Panel] on: December 23, 2019, 02:51:43 PM
I updated my signature today and now on my yobit account under Amount BTC I am getting zero. Anyone else having this issue?

I have the same result. And I do not think we have the option of getting our payment back for these posts.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are privacy coins in a decentralized industry? on: December 23, 2019, 02:34:28 PM
to privacy is to dangerous for underground transaction, i dont think privacy and decentralized coin are popular for daily use,
its only compitable for people that doing illegal transaction on deepweb ( darknet )
The use of privacy coins in the decentralized system should be more likely. Under normal circumstances, there may be people who use them to avoid knowing how much money they have. Also, bitcoin is also available on the dark web, which does not mean it is only useful there. Crypto offers you all kinds of selections, but how you evaluate it depends on you.
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: multiple charts at once on: December 23, 2019, 02:12:34 PM

The site has only 6 options to match the power of the computer. It is a good thing to install the site according to the power of the computer, but I think our aim is to follow the pairs we want, not this. More explanatory choices will be useful. good luck
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many projects is bad on: December 23, 2019, 01:51:14 PM
We are in decentralized world so it doesn't make sense for this forum to start doing research on projects for us, crypto world equals freedom so it's all on us, we have to look out for ourselves
You may be right, but scam projects are a reason why those who want to deal with crypto may leave on condition that they never return. The Crypto world also needs the cop, otherwise, everyone will continue to do what they want. If it is possible to correct this by any means, why should we fatigue ourselves.
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Arbitrage bot or not? on: December 23, 2019, 01:26:08 PM
I have nothing to do with bots. So I looked at the forum and found this one: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2915164.msg30011231#msg30011231
