Well for me to say, I would recommend to a newbie like you between those crypto currencies whether Bitcoin or Ethereum, you better choose Bitcoin. Bitcoin is a much easier to use currency than to the other for me. But I am not saying that you stay away from Ethereum. Thy are both good currencies but it just happen that I preferred much Bitcoin.

I will not definitely agree that the Bitcoin will end this simple. How would people think so easily that the Bitcoin will end in such a way that it is just on its downfall? It is true that now global regulation is really affecting crypto and off course the prices of alot of coins in the market but i am still sure that bitcoin will not die because a lot of people will not let this happen, right now bitcoin is becaming popular and it is the reason why bitcoin will not die. There are so many factors impeding on bitcoin's general acceptability.. I think if these factors need to be improved on.
The factors are as follows:
The low speed of transaction confirmation and the high transaction cost.

Well, I don't think that the government will be able to trace that Bitcoin users. Because we all know and aware that Bitcoin is a decentralized crypto currency that the government has no control over it and it is also have an anonymous transaction.
