anyone running the windows p2pool? i can't configure my router so that people can access my machine from the interwebs, but if somebody from outside china does it, we might get a block at least.

not much of a chance anyway. great firewall is rejecting 100% of pool shares for me, solo mining is 100% orphans.

just wait until someone launches a coin called buck tomorrow

so do nvidia cards still outperform comparable ati cards with the new core 17? Say, a GTX 650 Ti Boost and an ATI 7790 ?

this is confusing. so do I use what mumus posted or the latest version from the ypool website? i'm trying to find out by benchmarking, but they changed the complete share system while I was at it... D: the mumus version finds way more shares and shows more info, so I'm going with that one for now.
Also, Kouye, when compiling yourself, do you have to change lots of parameters with specific knowledge about your CPU, or do programs simply run better on the machine/architecture they have been compiled on and you just follow some standard windows compiling tutorial?

primecoin did this in a way with the early client issues - high-end systems did not outperform $40 CPUs by much. Maybe smuggle in some hard-to-find bottlenecks for the launch.

since it's the most innovative coin in a long time, i don't see why not.

and windows only so far why.

I'm not sure you can take the blade runner 2 banner, slap "neocoin" on it and write "Copyright © 2013 neocoin.org" at the bottom of the page.
Let's see what the actual client looks like - on the 256-colored GIF most images seem a bit stretched or out of place/proportion. However, any improvement over the original client is an improvement - the bitcoin client really needs some web 2.0 rounded edges and stuff.
Can you give us an ETA?

Search for this has proven difficult so a thread seems to be in order - does anybody have some testnet addnodes to offer? I just can't find a blocksource.

well if all of this was true there would be no reason to release now.

I'm curious - does the getbalance command show the mined "immature" blocks?
