To me it seems the undertone of that conversation is to associate 'bad things' with 'digital currencies'.
How far is this TV program spread accross the US? Do many people tend to watch this?
99.9999% of Americans do not watch the channel this is being broadcasted on. However, the news will probably do soundbits focusing on child porn, money laundering, terrorists/ |

i'm not phased by the price surge, and i'm prepared for the coming correction.
when bitcoin hits $10,000 in the next couple of years, i may cash out 0.5 to cover the initial deposit,
and put that money towards my further education.
i have no reason to sell or trade. i will hold indefinately. i love bitcoin.

I hate this thread.  Every time I see it I'm reminded of the time I bought $1k worth of silver back in September of 2011 at a price of $42 an ounce. Yes, just weeks before it crashed to $26. Unfortunately, I didn't learn about bitcoin until February of this year, but (fortunately) started buying at $29. |

December 12, 2014 - Help! I had the opportunity to buy at $600, but didn't buy any. Now it's over $10,000 and I feel like $#!%.

Litcoin breaks $7! The whole crypt-currency space is going parabolic. Keiser put a $50 target on LTC. Pump, pump, pump it up! Glad I hoarded some LTC. +1 Me too! You do realize that long term wise you are losing money by holding LTC instead of BTC, right? At the moment, yes. That's why I only put a very small % of my BTC into LTC. No reason not to have a an alt-coin hedge. |

It took 12 days for the price to double from $250 to $500. If the current rate continues, we'll see $1k before the end of November.

The price is higher now than when it topped off in April.....
If you bought at $266 in April, you're winning today (assuming you held).

$500 before Thanksgiving (US).
If we follow previous late March/early April rate of increase, we should top off around $1,200 before the end of November.
