Quick question, are the fans on these boards 80mm?  I`m going to replace them to help airflow.
Thanks

The original fan is a 90mm. But if you want to optimize cooling you should make a case. You can use cardboard to make your own cheap case.
Put a 120mm fan on left site, form the cardboard around the fan and put the shash board in.
Use a fan with more than 200m³/h.
Its the better choice because you are cooling the dc/dc converter, too.
Example image:

Here is the source link for the case:

how is tytus related to megabigpower in any way? he just runs a mine. unless he bought out dave's company. the btc world shadniess amazes me.

Bitfury chips were developed by intron & cscape for Tytus' mine.  Without Tytus there would be no Bitfury.  Read the first post in this thread.

looks nice guys! But if the BF chip situation stays the same..
290  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: TECHNOBIT S-HASH minig board, Technobit Nanofury and Bitfury chip distribution on: December 11, 2013, 11:41:22 AM
if you are brave enough yes!

Although I haven't really seen a step by step of what to do/how to do it.

If I had one I might try it.

Foofighter, could you provide a link?

I think there was some kind of step by step guide somewhere on the forums, cant recal where I have seen it. But cscape knows it for sure

You two ?

I gues no respons form technobit either?

THey just respond

Quote from: technobit
Your sending is delivered and signed, just ask DPD @ your country.
If needed I'll ask them for signed copy.
There is no way Paypal to judge

I wonder just becouse i posted here?

In short they think " your problem", no  technobit its your.

A little custtomer service would be nice.

Sorrie, but the burden of proof lies with you, not with my. And DPD does not provided my with the info or signigture  because I'm not. Sender!

Provide the info requeste a week ago or send my 2 miners or do a refund.

Paypal also require a signigture as proof

Technobit dont responde to my emails! Im pissed of now!!!!!

EDIT: The items arrive just now Wink

Let us know how it hashes.

Does anyone know if cscapes firmware will work on these, or where it can be found? This ~36Gh/s per unit while it runs super cool leaves a lot of room for improvement. The Bitburner Furys I have, although poorer in quality, still manage to pull ~50Gh/s per board.

I can confirm that Cscape`s firmware does run on the s hash technobit boards. However please don`t expect a hash rate improve.

As far as I know, "software" overclocking on these boards is not possible.

but pencil mod is possible as posted somewhere else Wink

I run 1.0.3 and seem to have higher hash rates:

That's because you got the board from me, not Technobit, so it has different chips and different voltage.

yes, I appreciate your high quality work!

Does anyone know how to change the pool management strategy on these? They seem to switch pools somewhat randomly and there is no real interface to control them besides the web one that just has firmware flash and pool info. Also, is anyone actually getting 40Gh/s on these??

sure getting the 40GH, why use more then 1 pool?
297  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Custom Case Design for Bitfury SHASH Miners// and Burnin FURY Miners on: November 25, 2013, 08:39:32 PM

Actually, I'd like some comments from you...

- Would you like a USB miner or are you happy with standalone RasPi controlled unit?
- Do you feel modular design is important, or would you prefer a nice tidy box?
- What about form factor: free or rack?
- What dB level are you comfortable with?
- Internal custom PSU or ATX?

- stand-alone with Ethernet
- tidy box (foofighter)
- free
- less then BFL
- external power supply

And 200+ GH per board.

intron

2 different production fabs will be producing some test cards.
How about some kind of M-board, while you are at it?  Grin

You can get that from the euro bitfury site

all sold out there,

@goxed
as mentioned before, also very interested to buy some from you.
