281  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Localbitcoins confirms ID verification and one account per person on: May 15, 2018, 07:47:12 PM
I think it's more an excuse to introduce an anticipation, something they planned to add long ago and are using this to make 2 in 1 shot
By the way, anyone knows what is this limit in term of volume traded?

Completed the survey, the first question was funny
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Altcoin is the best way of investment now? on: May 15, 2018, 07:38:09 PM
yes altcoins is best way of investment. but still it is depend on the preference and selection of altcoin because there are so many altcoins which are not good for investment. according to my opinion select any altcoins having rank from 0 - 100 in coinmarketcap.there are several coins having more potential to grow.

selecting any altcoins having rank from 0 - 100 in coinmarketcap because you can firstly still see some crappy coins and secondly you can miss some very good coins with a great opportunity
Take a look at Zencash currently

285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More and more airdrop is a lie, on: May 15, 2018, 07:28:53 PM
Never I wasted my time with any airdrop and it's not going to happen anytime soon
286  Economy / Economics / Re: A coin issued by some country government - would you go for it? on: May 14, 2018, 09:36:25 PM
One of the ideologies of the cryptocurrency concept is to get back the control of your money without any bank or govt. (and using cryptographic protocol)
It's not using a secure protocol to help the institutions to have more control over you
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your favorite privacy coin? on: May 14, 2018, 09:29:12 PM
For me monero and lindacoin are looking like the best two options right now. They are very private and do not leave a trace of the transaction. It is what I was looking for when I first started investing in cryptos because I know that there is no way to track it which is my aim.
Nice
Then you should take a look at the two altcoins I mentioned in the original post( Zencash+Cloakcoin)
In term of privacy and technology, Zencash is by far better than Monero
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: altcoins for 2-3 years holding! on: May 14, 2018, 09:19:08 PM
Holding altcoin for two three years? that would be too long...but then its your choice..it would also be good to have eth and bitcoin in some amount to keep so that when all these things boomed and increase in period of time you have all coins in different kinds to grow together and bigger profit all the way.

Long term on crypto in about 4-5 years, and it's not very  long for an investor who is used to split his portfolio
289  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: CoinMall Community Moderators [IDEA] [FEEDBACK REQUIRED] on: May 13, 2018, 09:34:46 PM
Not a bad idea

Considering how bitcointalk accounts and sold daily I would be very strict while choosing someone. Positive feedbacks don't mean too much here.
I think it' good to chose someone with a solid background and history outside the forum as well.
Yes I would be ready to use as long I know the moderators are fair to everyone( buyers and seller)
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: altcoins for 2-3 years holding! on: May 13, 2018, 09:29:18 PM
I think it's wrong to leave coins unattended for such a long time, because everything in the market can happen and you can consume all the money!

I am still holding my bitcoins since 5 years, guess what? Nothing bad happened since. I can even say I am very happy  Cheesy
Now doing the same with zencash and cloakcoin because I knw the story will repeat again whith both ..

291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mt.Gox account transferred 6000 bitcoins today on: May 11, 2018, 06:45:02 PM
Probably the reason lets 's see Monday what the market says. It could be just the usual weak hands selling their coins while in a crisis panic
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your favorite privacy coin? on: May 11, 2018, 06:34:51 PM

You are not listing Komodo. Their train hasn't gone fullspeed yet which anyone who is interested can ride with it. Not only that Komodo is also a platform whcih makes it a good token to invest with. Its very undervalued for now but its definitely have all the qualities to compete those high value privacy tokens.

I didn't list Komodo because I don't like it. Simple Smiley
I asked what "privacycoins"  people like to see what the community is interested in. Zencash and Cloakcoin are both my fav. I was not interested to make like a list of privacy coins sorry

293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zencash: Excellent potential? on: May 11, 2018, 06:19:10 PM

Good news! Infopulse is good company.
So I'll be observing how the DAO develops.
Any ideas when ZenCash team will visit Kyiv next time?

It will make it really decentralized and censorship-resistant. Let's wait Q2 2018  Cool
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your favorite privacy coin? on: May 07, 2018, 08:54:12 PM
i still believe if Monero is the best privacy coin for me,
and maybe verge is the next, also the price of verge udervalued now
just my opinion  Wink

verge??? Isn't this coin which is not so anonymous? Because I remember a link with all transactions hidden behind a numbered serial. Does not sound so anonymous to me
295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why did people get involved in bitconnect? on: May 07, 2018, 08:47:46 PM
Bitconnect looked like a pyramid scheme from early on, and it had a ton of warning signs. If you missed the fact even a ton of people on youtube told everyone that bit connect was a scam, so you didn't even need to notice it yourself.

I want to know why people got involved while knowing that it was a HORRIBLE scam from early on?

all cryptocurrencies are pyramid schemes decentral cryptocurrencies dont exist, its only called decentral because its not controll by the central bank it still has a new center though

LOL?

Crypto...currency
a currency using cryptographic protocols, how it can be a Ponzi? It's like saying bank notes are a pyramid scheme because it uses paper...
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ZEN] ZenCash: Private, Secure, Resilient CryptoCurrency with zk-SNARKs on: May 07, 2018, 08:39:03 PM
Yes, these arguments are making sense. And if ZenCash already managed to get 10,000 non-windows nodes, I guess this is most likely the best way to go.

As I understood the best way is to setup node on cloud service (may be AWS)
Also may be in future ZenCash team or some enthusiasts can provide node setup as a service? So even more people who are not advanced in tech can join
it's easier to set up a node than install windows 10 Grin
it's not difficult with their tutorial on their blog and you can get a help from them directly on Discord.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Way to Earn Passive Income - Cryptocurrency Masternodes (MN explained) on: April 27, 2018, 08:27:10 AM
The problem with masternodes is that you need to invest a very big amount of money( for the good ones) in order to own one. Also, from what i saw, in time of bear market this coins lose a lot of value.
Let's see, for masternode,
Pivx need 10000 piv@$5, around $50,000
Zcoin need 1000 xzc@$5x, around $50,000
And Dash need 1000 dash@$5xx, that's around $500,000

Lucky for someone who got dash MN when it still cheap, but i think invest in ico still give more roi lol

zencash 42x38$=1596$

last month the price was about 15$ only so it was about 600$

it's not a big amount for someone serious enough to invest in. I would rather invest with a secure node rather than a potential scam ICO
298  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Twitter indefinitely suspends FreeBitcoins.com handle. on: April 24, 2018, 07:31:10 PM
I do not know the contents of your Twitter account but I think these quotes will benefit you

Twitter revealed Monday its plans to ban some cryptocurrency-related ads in a bid to decrease fraud and deception on the site.

Mostly when a Twitter account is permanently banned, the ban is due to the account as a whole and not a particular tweet. Plus you will not receive a warning or a temp ban.
Search algorithm checks account activity if the content is related to actual fraudulent sites Your account will most likely be banned.
Words such as free bitcoin are also key search for fraudulent activities/websites.
Generally, Twitter rules will be tougher in terms of ICOs/token and any account churning around these campaigns will be under the radar

Twitter tells The Verge. All ICOs and token sales will be banned, but cryptocurrency exchanges and wallets will be restricted to only public companies listed on major stock markets.

there are differences between advertising crypto related stuff and an account related to crypto
twitter is not going to ban an account because he is talking about crypto
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your favorite privacy coin? on: April 24, 2018, 07:24:28 PM
No one else?
 Undecided
Monero is obsolete if you really care about your privacy as "rayk" pointed out. Verge is not anonymous either and the community is filled with idiots and closed minds, it has been enough for me to stay away from it. Zencash is fantastic I do agree. I like their philosophy and the way they work. They also helped me to set up my nodes on a VPS and they were happy to help me with it, I was surprised to see such helpful people still exist without asking something back
.

So, which privacycoin are you following right now other than that?
300  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How much do Cointelegraph and Coindesk cost for press release or articles? on: April 21, 2018, 08:06:23 PM
Nah, Coindesk still does some PR but it must be a really interesting or exclusive because they do receive a lot daily. BTW corruption works in 2018...
Other than that you can advertise with coindesk there are different advertising option, of course, there is a cost
