361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HBO is trying to get $250,000 in bitcoin to pay hackers who stole GoT scripts on: August 12, 2017, 03:26:52 PM
Sadly, paying hackers for it, is just encouraging hackers to hack more for bitcoin. Lile with Wannacry, a lot of people paid the amount needed, but in my opinion it is just encouraging others. If people don't pay then it will no more (or less) profitable for those hackers

@albanes
Thank you for the explanation, it is more clear now for me. What it isn't clear is so why there is not more altcoins using NIST5 like SOLARIS

@SolarisDev thank you for all the payments even if the guy is on holidays
363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much bitcoin do you need now to be a millionaire? on: August 11, 2017, 09:55:46 PM
It depends on the country where you are living too. For example, you can be a millionaire with maybe 0.1BTC in Zimbabwe. But you will still have a shit life there. In my country, you will need about 280BTC to be considered a millionaire. If a day it happens to you, you will be welcome in my country in hope you invest of course and not just avoid the taxs (you will be in the wrong place anyways)
364  Economy / Economics / Re: Factors That Make One Cryptocurrency Worth More Than Another on: August 11, 2017, 09:42:37 PM
Here are just a few ideas in mind

The team behind who they are, what background they have, etc
The technology used: is it something news or cloned, how are they planning to improve it
The ideology of the team: what are the motivation doing it, is their motivation enough strong for a long run
The plans they have: what is their strategic plan to make an established cryptocurrency
How are they going to do it: any particular resource, PR, buzz, partnership
Marketing/Promotion
365  Economy / Economics / Re: 50,000 Views on Your Youtube Channel Is Enough Make You $1000 a Month on: August 11, 2017, 09:34:00 PM
Good way to get your partner account banned. No Youtube is not going to pay people cheating the system and buying views to make dolars. Even channels that are not monetized are sometimes banned because of methods like you are talking. And you can say my method is safe or whatever, I saw thousand of poeple telling us that and so far they stopped their biz so... Soon or later youtube patch the method and ban.
366  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Is exodus wallet safe? on: August 11, 2017, 09:22:45 PM
If you check their FAQ, they say not to keep large amounts there and to use some other wallet. It s great for every day use but for full time storage, use something else.
that's true and considering exodus wallet aren't in bitcoin.org wallet list , i wouldn't recommend it. for a small transaction it's always worth to try , and of course never be a good idea to store your large amount of bitcoin in a third party wallet provider. sure safer you use your own wallet , i mean a wallet that allow you to hold the private key alone.

I have downloaded the latest version of Exodus wallet. I tried to play with it and I can't find the options to have your own set of private keys. Meaning you don't have total control of that wallet. I will used this wallet just, but not for storing used amount of bitcoin but just to see how the conversion of bitcoin-ETH will be. And I think it will only give you 2 btc address if I'm not mistaken. So no option to create multiple address to give for every transaction who want to make. And I don't know if you can control the fee's as well. I have to double check.

Which means, it is still good to use elctrum wallet than this one. Because in electrum wallet, your bitcoin is very safe to storage it in there for it has password, private and phrase key word before you can open it and withdraw your bitcoin balance.

Electrum is the best wallet for me so far. You can have multiple receiver address which is good if you have multiple transaction across for easy tracking. Of course you have total control of the seeds and the private key plus you can set up the fees for yourself because it support dynamic fees.
they are a new wallet , launched within 2 years and getting popular recently. my concern only on how they aren't in the bitcoin.org wallet recommend list , the other things like private key that didn't held by the third party for me are a plus value , sounds like promising enough. just not yet recommended especially when you are talking about huge amount.

If you notice here and there the site you are mentioning needs to be updated and fresh content added. It's a little an old website with information displayed not really updated
367  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best way to cashout your bitcoin now? on: August 11, 2017, 09:17:10 PM
In my case Kraken proved me to be the most efficient when I want to cashout my bitcoins. I sell on the platform then request a bank transfer and less than 24 hours after it is credited on my bank account. Can't make more easy than that
368  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I need a bit of help understanding... on: August 11, 2017, 09:14:17 PM
Your question is confusing. How on earth did you send a cryptocurrency too your bank account? Or you wanted to say you sold your coins on the site you mentionned and then made a bank transfer? Anyways bank transfers can take up 3 days to appears in your bank history.
369  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: August 11, 2017, 09:10:36 PM
I am not so much interested with altcoins, so most of my coins are in Bitcoin, maybe about 90%. I do buy some other altcoins from time to time but it's not that I am interested with, nor I am speculating but for other purposes.
370  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitfinex - price manipulation, fake transactions on: August 10, 2017, 09:01:30 PM
Come on! What is wrong with price manipulation huh? we have to embrace that because we don't have any choice but to utilize exchanges. What you have to do is to take advantage of it, buy every time that price goes down.

Man, you have to ride the waves! that what makes our thing fun! this game is for the strong (strong hands)  Grin

Specially when the bank do the same  Cheesy 2 years ago the BNP was charged with acts of manipulation, execution of false orders and collusion, as part of an investigation into a form of "cartel" exchange for several banks
371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SUCCESS - Dumped BCH for BTC, thanks Bitmain! on: August 10, 2017, 08:50:32 PM
So you swapped a low priced BCH for an all time high BTC LOL Let's see how that looks when BCH starts to grow XXX% and BTC drops back to $2k+. Nothing goes up forever!

Great move.

A thing that may never happen in the future. So he did a good choice, especially if he is not interested in BCH. I did the same and I am happy with it. And the thing is I don't give a fuck to BCH.

374  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptocurrency Exchange on: August 08, 2017, 09:48:24 PM
Stop playing us for fools while advertising your own site, any idiot can see that this is an advertising attempt claiming to be a client who sent $200+ to an unknown exchanger  Huh

LOL exactly what I was thinking. I have no idea why they promote their business in this way, while it can be done here in a normal way.
Anyway who will use an unknow site posted by a user with 1 post, while there are a dozen of others websites well reputed
375  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Searching for a debit card (ONLY POS) comparison on: August 08, 2017, 09:43:36 PM

378  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Alternative exchange for Litecoin? on: August 06, 2017, 07:09:21 PM
Kraken and Bittrex are both well reputed and you can use it without a problem. You don't have verification Id needed in Kraken, as long you don't need to transfer/deposit over 25000$ to/from your bank account. Over this limit only you will need to be verified to a superior level.
But honestly, I have no idea if both are licensed
379  Economy / Exchanges / Re: List of bitcoin debit cards on: August 06, 2017, 07:05:17 PM
Can I use a unverified virtual debit card for ebay shopping?
If yes, which payment processor would be the best?
Yes you can use those unverified cards to shop on ebay, but remember those cards have a limit of $250 which after you will need to be verified and so provide some documents such as your Id card, utility bill, etc. As for the question which payment processor, i think you mean which providers? Because those services are not a payment processor... Anyway all are the same as the card is the same issued by the same company
380  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: how can i reinvest my bitcoin in HYIP? on: August 06, 2017, 06:57:01 PM
till now i try to withdraw my earning but it is always pending!!  Cry

Stop helping scammers to scam more people. HYIPs are 100% scam. The site can stop paying in 1 week, 1 month, or 1 year, soon or later the system collapse. By participating as a member in fraudulent websites, you are just helping the scammer to scam more.
