281  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin die soon? on: July 11, 2017, 10:13:56 AM
you should try your transaction with increasing the fees., and no bitcoins is not going to die anytime soon.,
you will see in near future , its value going to be more than 10k per bitcoin and transactions are going to be quicker.

282  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [DEAL] Your amount * 155 = $1 937 500 on: July 11, 2017, 09:13:42 AM
if you want people to make take you seriously , then become active member here and try to explain what is your project is about.
without knowing your project nobody is going to invest in your project.
or you can always hire the developers.

good luck.
283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin explorer choice on: July 07, 2017, 02:19:46 PM
there are many blockchain explorers out there , buy my favourite is https://blockchain.info/ , becuase its the oldest one, and dont have much distracting ads on site, and site loads very fast.
other than that, it shows btc amount in USD also., so it helps me to understand how much of transaction worth of in USD and i dont have to go to google and do xx btc to usd.

plus they have their own wallet system , i like that too, you can create as many wallets and each wallet can have unlimited receiving addreses, so nobody knows who is receiving the funds.,

when i first came here , i created a thread for asking how to create site like blockchain.info as i really liked that site and wanted to start something simmilar,

284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you follow daily crypto news? on: July 05, 2017, 03:53:48 AM

285  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: How to install vanitygen on Centos 6.5 Linux on: July 03, 2017, 05:56:34 AM
i know this is old thread , but i cam from google.

Hi,

i have been trying from 4 hours to get this vanitygen working on my linux box and could not so ,
i followed this
Code:
https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/24364/how-do-i-use-vanitygen-on-fedora-20-openssl-restrictions
and
Code:
https://syslint.com/blog/tutorial/how-to-upgrade-openssl-on-centos-7-or-rhel-7/
my only mistake was i couldnt lcoate the LD_RUN_PATH directory to use which was being used by openssl as did not specify
Code:
./config --prefix=/opt/openssl-1.0.2l zlib-dynamic shared
while compiling the openssl.,

above method worked perfectly., now the vanitygen is working.,

but you missed one step above .,after editinng Makefile,  run

Code:
make

thanks

287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Potential like $GBYTE? on: July 02, 2017, 11:21:13 AM
ripple has potential.,
it is backed by google and its being adopted by major Indian banks for international wire transfers.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the Death of Stellar coin aka STR ? on: July 02, 2017, 11:04:14 AM
now stellar coin are below 1000 sats! It's a new lower record for the last weeks, but I think the price could touch again new high (around 2500 satoshi) in 6 months/1 year.

yes, i bought str for long term, but idk these daily addiction of crypto trading makes me panic and do some stupid stuff., like panic selling .,
but i am going to hold on to remaining coins/. will see in 6months or 1 year.
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the Death of Stellar coin aka STR ? on: July 02, 2017, 10:53:50 AM
it's because they've released billions more this week. that ends in august. from now until then there's gonna a hell of a lot of selling pressure. maybe it'll ease off soon as i guess the switched on people have already claimed their share.

there's probably room to go down but it's not death. it's logical what's happening now.
True, but that's a hell of a lot of STR they're distributing to Bitcoin holders.  Realistically, most people who hold shitloads of BTC are just going to sell their STR right back into BTC.  It doesn't even have a system to incentivise them to keep holding, like GBYTE.

It won't die but I think it has a lot further to go.

if thats the case then i guess, it will go even more down., when people start selling theirs free str coins.

from last few weeks, stellar is going down .

is there any possibility that it will come back up ?

should i hold or sell ?

Thanks for your time.
have a great day ahead.

If you is exchanger, I recommend you hold it and not check your balance in few months for waiting STR comeback and go to the moon, but if you are margin trader, stop-loss now and go to travel with family to forget this loss, I has been do that and happy now Grin

you really think there is future for stellar coin ?

how many you have ?

i had about 20k sold 3k now onto 17k.

thanks
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the Death of Stellar coin aka STR ? on: July 02, 2017, 02:54:19 AM
The best way to find out is to know how much is left on the budget of their development team is. If they still a lot of funds to let them continue for 1 year or more then STR might still be a good investment.

thanks, but where can i get that kind of information ?

But if I were you I would look for other opportunities to invest in. You should invest in a proven model of development that follows the bitcoin ethos.

thanks for your input.

293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the Death of Stellar coin aka STR ? on: July 02, 2017, 02:36:08 AM
The best person to answer this question is you.

Just ask yourself:

Why did you invest in STR?
Does STR offer anything that others don't? Is there anything unique and REALLY USEFUL about it?

If you have trouble answering these question, sell it ASAP.

I feel we have just seen the end of a strong bull wave in cryptocurrencies and by the time the next cycle starts, many of these altcoins would have vanished.

thanks for youre reply.,

Why did you invest in STR?
i invest it STR becuse it offers payment system for individuals unlike ripple coin which offers its services to banks and big coprporations.

295  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Keep your fiat at hand in order to buy new bitcoin on: July 01, 2017, 05:35:34 PM
i am also in the same boat, i am from india., and wire transfer takes 2-3 days to exchange and bitcoin rates wont stay same for 2-3 days., so i found localbitcoins for instant buying bitcoins, but there prices are way much higher than of exchanges like bitstamp and btc-e.
and keeping money at exchange is not safe.
296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Holding On To Your Bitcoin? on: July 01, 2017, 05:32:56 PM
the best thing is to hold for now so i am holding my bitcoins as well as buying per month as i get my salary. and even trading with alcoins so sometimes i get profit i.e. more bitcoins., while sometimes there is loss.,
but i am holding majority of bitcoins ,
297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How someone stole my bitcoin within 1 second ? on: June 30, 2017, 06:39:13 AM
Several such incidents have happened in the past, during the generation of vanity address you could have missed the private key. This might be used by some hackers. Without that I don't think your bitcoin gets lost from blockchain wallet. Have a clear picture, because only your mistake could have resulted in the loss or theft. The wallet is good with perfect security features.

sorry for confusion and my bad english.,
i did not used the address made by vanitygen, i used btc address and pair from http://directory.io which is available on public site.

thanks
298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How someone stole my bitcoin within 1 second ? on: June 30, 2017, 06:37:08 AM
This is how a real random private key looks like (generated with bitaddress.org to make a point):
FC46D306D1CA227F3A7A8342571A1CA19C13C122C7C4FA33C9BA7699E5D19481

and here is your private key:
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFEBAAEDCE6AF48A03BBFD25E8CD0364101

also that website doesn't have "all" the private keys and doesn't even generate all of them it fails after some point if you continue going deep enough.

it also has nothing to do with Vanity address, i don't know why you even mentioned it here!

i was using vanitygen64  to generate some btc address and private keys pair. but first i wanted to see if someone can steal btc using only 51 char long WIF format already present on public site.

private key associate with
1PDSZN2qgFcuay1vVRxYo1yp9gfXeSKJgt
is
5Km2kuu7vtFDPpxywn4u3NLpbr5jKpTB3jsuDU2KYEqemizF9vA
its in WIF format.

how did you get
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFEBAAEDCE6AF48A03BBFD25E8CD0364101
private key ?

thanks
299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / How someone stole my bitcoin within 1 second ? on: June 30, 2017, 06:11:41 AM
please hear me out.

i was playing with bitcoin address generator vanitygen64 and blockchain.info and http://directory.io/ which happens to have all the possible bitcoins address with private keys., i know they generate it on the fly depending on the page number.

I took first bitcoin address and private key from last page of site to make sure, btc wont get stolen quickly.
http://directory.io/904625697166532776746648320380374280100293470930272690489102837043110636675

i sent some funds to ythe first address on that page,
https://blockchain.info/address/1PDSZN2qgFcuay1vVRxYo1yp9gfXeSKJgt

as i imported that address in my blockchain.info account, i was waiting for the confirmation , but before it could get confirmed , another transaction is made without my knowledge, by someone who has the private key(offcourse private key is publicly open on site directory.io).

so my question is :
1) is this really a theft or i am missing something here ? like transaction fees or something else ?
2) how can he do so fast ? obviously its not done manually but still
3) why would he watch some random address ? which has not balance.
4) how is he doing this ? any links or direction would be great.

thanks for your time., have a great day ahead.

edit: i was using vanitygen64  to generate some address and private keys pair. but first i wanted to see if someone can steal btc using only 51 char long WIF format.

300  Other / Off-topic / Re: New Smartphone needed - OnePlus 5? on: June 29, 2017, 06:16:56 PM
i am oneplus one user, its great phone, i have tried oneplus two but i like oneplus one better, its has enough ram and internal storage 64 gigs.

why buy oneplus 5 with 6/8 gegs of ram?, what apps needs that much ram ? imho compaines are just trying to get more customer just buy boosting specs., and above 3/4 gigs its overkill.

why not get new samsung s8+, it has huge screen. and samsung is reputable brand.

the only thing i like about oneplus over others is sandstone back, i dont like to use the covers so sandstone back gives kind of firm grip without using any cover.
