Like they said, there's nothing you can use to earn $2 daily using an old computer or android devices.
But since you're a newbie ( Yes Jrs are newbies too). You might be talking about those micro-earnings like faucet sites that rewards Satoshi. Try coinpot.co, after registration, go to bitcoins (menu) and select " Mine Bitcoin" to earn some satoshi depending on your hashrate. Take note that this is not a " Real" mining operation but a kind of a gimmick ( CoinHive-based), but the site rewards you satoshis instead of XMR. You can claim to their faucets too, use the developer's referral links ( from their ANN Thread) if you want to " thank" them at least. Just don't expect higher than $1 a day using that old computer alone ( You'll pay more electric bill than the reward ). @OP - You can try this one since it is very easy to deal with. All you need to do is click the "Mine" button and Presto! You can now earn fractions of btc (which is satoshi) passively. But, there's a tendency you might encounter technical problems such as having a lag computer because its GPU is not high enough to suit for mining purposes. When it comes to claiming free satoshis in their faucets (e.g moonbitcoin, moonlitecoin etc.), you need to visit and claim from time to time. If you are thinking that waiting for long and hoping that the reward you'll get will accumulate and became big then I'll tell you frankly, it's not; because the rate of giving rewards becomes slower as you less frequently claim. Like what sir nc50lc said, you cannot earn $1 - $2 through this. Aside from getting larger electric bills than to your rewards, this is also time-consuming compare to other ways of earning btc. Furthermore, I know a mobile app where you can mine directly. Actually this app is a digital wallet for Electeoneum that has a built-in miner. But again, it only gives very small amount per day.

How that idea came into your mind? You're too imaginative dude Anyway, Coinbase is a one of the most trusted wallets so I'm pretty sure that its developers will not run away with all of our money. But going back to your assumption, if they robbed all of our money then the police authorities will hunt them because what they did is against the law. It doesn't matter anymore if what they robbed is in form of fiat or crypto (which is not regulated by the government), larceny will remain larceny and it will not change. In this scenario, I think our money will not return to us anynore unless the accused ones will tell where they hide our money. But honestly, I doubt that our money will be retrieved as exact what they have been stolen so I think we can't really do anything but to let our authorities to do the rest.

I think there is a similarity between bitcointalk and bitcoin. if bitcoin and the crypto market die then the bitcointalk will also disappear
Just a correction, bitcoin is related only to bitcointalk. They are not similar since it's very obvious that this forum is not a cryptocurrency. Anyway, you have a point but I still disagree. Bitcoin is not the only thing that matters here, there are still altcoins remember? I think this forum will possibly end also as crypto in general died (but I don't think crypto will die either). This forum was created so that crypto holders/earners like us will have a nice place where we can all gathered. Logically thinking, if crypto dies then there's no point to continue this forum anymore as simple as that.

I agree with your definition between a trader and a gambler. But are you telling us not to be a gambler and just be a trader instead? Well, some of us will and some of us will not.
Even though we all know the fact that gambling is not good, there are still so many gamblers right? It's all because of money. I'm pretty sure that a gambler still continue his deeds after reading your post and just unrecognize the negative characteristics you included. My point is we cannot easily change gamble-minded people because they prefer "easy money" despite of the strong risks over slower and tiring earning of money (which is trading).

That was absolutely great if that will really happen because I'm pretty confident to say that I'll become an instant millionaire (maybe even billionaire) by that time . Possessing such a huge amount of money, I think I am not only able to sustain my needs for a lifetime (take note, without even working for a job) but also have remaining money to live luxuriously and do whatever I want. Well, I don't have any intentions to destroy your dream but I think what you assumed is so very hard to attain and maybe this means that all of us must switch first to crypto to make it happen. Anyway, when we assume that each of the current top six coins reach a market cap of trillions (but very ideal) I'm sure that the competence between one of them will become stronger making the crypto world more exciting since the throne of becoming no. 1 is possible for all of them.

I now have a good amount of earning and just only wait for btc to pump in order to maximize the profit I could get. As what I estimated, I can now already sustain the expenses of my upcoming thesis assuming btc rise up to $20k
Remember, money is not always the basis of success. Just because you still haven't earnings after three months doesn't mean you failed here. Actually I once became like you, a beginner in crypto world who don't know yet what to do and have some doubts if engaging in crypto can really give me benefits. Don't feel discouraged and attempt to quit because you are not the only one who is facing that kind of situation. Besides three months is still short, I'm sure your career as a btc earner will improve as time goes by.
By the way, why it seems that you didn't recognized the knowledge and experiences you gained along your journey? That's a lot of help. Just keep studying studying, try to contribute in the forum by being a role model here and do good quality posts and wait patiently. I'm sure you will confidently say to yourself someday that you succeed.

Whether the news about George Soros, the Tax day or whatsoever influence the market and made sudden ups on bitcoin's price, these things now doesn't matter for me anymore and all I do is to feel and enjoy the hype of green arrows. We can't conclude yet if this is just a temporary pump or already a long term recovery for btc because only hours have passed since its rise. Let's just keep watching what happens next and made the right decision. But to be honest, I hope this now is for real — I hope btc skyrocket again.

So you mean that merit is the only topic that can be discuss when it comes to the technical aspects of the forum that's why you suggested to rename meta section into "merit section"? I think that's a bad idea dude. Also most of them don't give a fuck about the merit system or its flaws, they are just trying to get merits themselves.
Yeah, you're right! And also, most of them are newbies. Well, we can't still assure that their motive of posting merit-related topics is just to earn merits because maybe they only want to express their opinions about that; we are not on the right place to judge them somehow. But for those guilty, I hope they soon realized that doing such thing is not a good way to earn merit and will only give them bad criticisms coming from others.

I was surprised also after I saw my bitcoin savings in my wallet rise this past morning. What a great news for us and this makes me feel happy because at last I see green arrows now. Furthermore, this news relieved me from my frustrations that I've got during btc's dip days. Going back to your question (which is your title also), it's pretty obvious that green days are back; the question is how long will it lasts? I really hope this will continue 'til it reaches new ATH.

I do not understand why there's always someone asking this sort of thing. I think you can read many threads in this forum about banning on bitcoins and crypto. bitcoin can not be stopped by all countries, some countries can only prohibit it but not for its growth. see today the market grows pretty well bitcoin up 8k again.
I absolutely agree with you, I don't know either why they always open up topics that previously discussed before. We know the fact that it's easier to directly ask compare to conduct some research, maybe that's their reason behind it. But in my opinion, this is not a good habit at all because it provides spoonfeeding. Well, it's not my business anymore, i just continue answering their questions because all I want is to help them. Going back to OP's question, it is impossible for a government of a particular country to ban crypto worldwide. What they can only do is to give regulations or even ban it also in a sense that countrymen can't convert it into their fiat, that's it. Restrictions of cryptos can only be implemented within the sovereignty of a country.

Well, I think your friend was definitely a shitposter because it is said in the notice that he is making "unsubstantial posts". I'm so sorry, I think your friend can no longer recover his account because moderators are now getting strict on cleansing this forum.
My advice to your friend is study more about crypto because lack of knowledge is the usual reason that causes shitposting, when he is now ready then feel free to create a new account and I hope that ban will now serve as his lesson.

if you had invest in bitcoin, would you follow the price every couple hours?
of course not, you don't need to keep an eye on the market from time to time unless you are a day trader. investing in bitcoin is hard on you everyday at every time. it can fall down to 1000$ in 2 hours if you dont pay attention to it. if you wanted to sell before that big dip but you cant because you are at work.
Just a correction, investing in bitcoin was so easy but making profit from it is hard due to its fluctuations, but you can make this in your favor if you smart enougha and tactical on handling money. For your second concern, I think your work is not a valid reason why you aren't able to make profits because you are not working 24/7 right? And besides, withdrawing only consumes a little bit of your time. [/quote]

Lol I feel pity for him since he don't know what's the difference between "piece" and "peace"? So who is going to try to guess which Bitcoin Talk member wrote that. He said "I'm at the forum bitcointalk.org recently" so I guess he is just a butthurt newbie, it would be impossible for him to be a high rank member here because he can't even construct a post with a good grammar . Finding him is not necessary at all, he means nothing here.

I never heard that name before but based on what you have said, I sensed that his statement opposing to btc at first is intentional (maybe i'm right or maybe I'm wrong with this). We all know that bad statements coming from well known economists, bankers and businessmen affects the market, I guess George Soros did the same way also to influence the price to fall down so he can have an opportunity to enter the market and maximimize his capital at the same time.
Well, if he plan to invest in btc then its price will pump up since $26 billion investment is huge.

I think you should buy now because the past six months and today has a huge gap between them. This is the best time to buy coins, you should not wait any longer because you can't assure that the dip will continue. Investing in the $400+ mark is already a good opportunity, grab it while it lasts.

I laughed a lot on the exhibit no. 2. Is that the real origin of term "hodl"? Are you serious? Well, it seems legit for me since that post is way back 2013. Though it's fumny, I think that drunk man should be recognized and includ on btc's history. On exhibit no. 4, I feel pity for the pizza buyers that he spent 10K btc. I'm pretty sure they realized that they made a horrible mistake and regret until now. I also wonder, where is the pizza vendor now? I think maybe he's now a millionaire.

I once became a person who likes to predict the price of the market but every time I do, the outcome doesn't even match with my predictions. For that reason, I now quit in predicting the market because I realized that doing this will only give us false hopes (just im my own opinion). Even though you got a lot of basis that is not enough to give you a guarantee that your predictions will happen because changes may takes place even in a single second.

Can you give me an example of shitpost that has been meritted? Yeah maybe it exists but do you think that's a post coming from an authentic account? I bet no. I think those shitposts that have been merited happens only when there's a merit farming from alt accounts. Honestly, I've never seen a person/merit source who gives a merit for a non sense post.
Merit system is not unfair, maybe you only tell that because you find difficult to earn some. This system works really well, period.

The website I trusted the most for the hottest and latest news on cryptocurrency is Coindesk ( https://www.coindesk.com/). Check it out, that one is a reliable source for me. But actually, I do not only use Coindesk because this forum is also a source of crypto-related news as well as crypto group pages on facebook but I'll make sure that the news posted have a reference first before I read it to prove that it is is not fake.
