2801  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to the coins after your death ? on: July 05, 2021, 08:28:44 PM
In most of the cases when the person dies, his crypto would become useless if his family member do not know about his keys.

I do not usually tell my password or keys to anyone and i know majority of the people don't do this. We are being taught to keep the keys safe.
No one think that one day he will die and in that case, his family won't be able to use those savings (bitcoin/crypto) if they don't know the keys.
Also people won't like to share keys with siblings or wife because they can misuse them . So what could be the solution to this  Huh
When someone dies their coins are gone as well. And I know for sure that a lot of people worry about giving their keys to their family while they are still alive, maybe to one reason or the other , they feel they can’t trust them so it’s best that they keep it to themselves. I wouldn’t blame such people, that’s why it is very important to develop trust in a every family, so that if anything happens, there will always be people takes over. Maybe you can use your lawyer, and he or she will be the one to handle such information and keep it ,so that if anything happens ,then they will bring it out.

Although I wont say you can trust your lawyer hundred percent. It’s best to work hard now and provide for your family so they wouldn’t have the need to be looking for your bitcoins, rather they will have enough to invest their own. Or you can even make use of online wallets and use email to lock it, so when they gain access to your email, they can as well access your wallets.
2802  Economy / Gambling / Re: btb88.com Casino & Sportsbook 🔥 NO DEPOSIT 2 mBTC 🔥 Licensed & Regulated on: July 05, 2021, 08:05:05 PM
I participated in The Euro's 2021 and Copa America Football Predictor I get reward 6 mbtc but i found something weird and funny
6 mbtc wagered  120 mbtc on sports betting  min odds x2.00

I also saw this in Promotion Terms and Conditions:

12.   The maximum withdrawal from winnings generated from the 'Football Predictor' is 25 mBTC, any additional winnings will be forfeited.

I think there is something strange I hope there is an update on the wagered or maximum withdrawal
So the rollover is 20 times with 2.00 or higher odds? that must be really hard to achieve. I thought the free bet was meant to be a bonus without restrictions, anyways not that I took part so good to know because I won't try for it, wagering 20x is really hard although it's free money so can't complain either.

AIRDROP ALERT

If you aren't already on our airdrop list, don't forget to PM me your btb88 username! We're airdropping sports bonuses into all our favourite forum member's accounts today!
Nicely done there, don't just offer players to post their usernames for the bonus because it would come under incentivize posting and would result in a ban.

The site looks really clean and I might register soon but I was hesitant to complete the KYC procedure last time I visited because although looks cool, bt88 is still fairly new Smiley.
2803  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are comfortable investing in government controlled investments on: July 05, 2021, 07:46:19 PM
People usually prefer government controlled investment, no doubt about that. I have talked to people about Bitcoin and they always say that it is not backed by the government and it is not centralized, so they don’t see the need to invest in it because they feel it is not safe.

One of them told me that he wouldn’t invest in anything that doesn’t have to do with centralization or have any control unit, because it is not safe. I don’t hold it against them, because I know things are different for everyone, from the level of understanding, to finance, and the level of risk we can take and handle and all that. And moreover, I don’t expect everyone to be part of the cryptocurrency community, if you can, then go for it. Nobody is being forced.
2804  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Million Dollar Race II - UFC Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: July 05, 2021, 07:28:36 PM
Check out this big win on our Sportsbook! Shocked

So... How was your Mega Race today?
Quite a win and I never expected Atlanta to win against the Bucks away from home because we know the Bucks home court is loud and hostile. I actually had a bet on hawks but it was a small bet and more in hope that they can take the 14-point lead soon because I seriously doubted them to win, they did win though course. I wish they could win the 6th game and force the decider but it was a good competitive series, contrary to what most predicted.

It's good to see the monthly million race back in action but I wish there were some small ones like 30 minute race randomly so we small players can sometimes get lucky. It's nearly impossible to win anything decent with so many big players at stake in the million dollar race. Some really good promotions for sports so I'm happy but please focus a little bit on small players who make bets on the casino.
2805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the only thing that humans cannot control on: July 05, 2021, 07:03:54 PM
It can be controlled, but it is difficult to control it. And I don’t think Bitcoin is the only thing that is beyond control, there are many things that man cannot control. Controlling Bitcoin is not an impossible thing to do, but it will be a difficult thing. Maybe it might seem impossible to us because no one is ready to go through that stress. It’s just like the 51% attack that everyone has been talking about for long, if some big miners should join together, they might accomplish that feat. But none of them would do that. There are other things to do, but the thing is that no one is ready for it. So it’s going to continue to be above control.
2806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market is recovering, what steps are you taking? on: July 05, 2021, 06:23:43 PM
In investing you must research in detail each coin you want to invest and also remember to be prepared to accept any risk that you have decided. instead of investing using cold money. yes, one week ago the market was bearish where the price of btc and also other altcoins decreased in price. and at that time i thought to add some top coin investments of my choice and till today the coins i bought have made quite a lot of profit.
By cold money do you mean savings? I would be not hesitant to invest my savings into Bitcoin but I will wait for the price to rob a little bit more before I buy some more and I have already purchased some when the price was around $28k. So obviously after grabbing the possible bottom prices, like most people I am also expecting the market to recover toward a new ATH.

buy a coin that you think is good and has the potential to be at the forefront of the market recovery this time, and remember, always use idle money capital, and divide it into several altcoins in investing
And even when you invest in a coin that has a good market cap, make sure to follow the news around it. Ripple has always been among top coins but people who know problems they have with SEC will hardly ever invest much in it.
2807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Neglected Quality Blockchain Projects on: July 05, 2021, 05:45:12 PM
What other good blockchain projects have you found that have been overlooked?
First and foremost I would say that the TRON blockchain in itself is the most overlooked project of them all. Apart from it, there was MATIC (polygon) which came into light only recently.

Other than these, i am not able to see any others. But i am damn sure that i have probably overlooked the others too  Tongue
TRON is good no doubt but there must be some reason because unlike Erc-20 and Bep-20 there are not many projects that are built on the Trc-20 (TRON) blockchain. The transactions are cheap and fast but still, people preferred moving to the BEP20 when the transaction fees issue was severe with Ethereum but no one still wanted to move on the Tron blockchain.

For long-term value, I think BNB is a pretty decent coin because they burn some BNB and there's a fixed supply of 200M tokens if I am not wrong. Binance is undoubtedly the best exchange in the market as well so I feel it has some good value and then I believe Solana and Polkadot are other good ones on the list.
2808  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: How to punish scammer? on: July 05, 2021, 03:43:58 PM
The amount is not significant, but I want to somehow punish this scammer.
The only possible way of punishing someone is to contact them via another telegram ID and try to get more details about them. I mean it might or might not work but obviously, the scammer would have blocked you, I assume by now.

I sent a Tether to the Tron blockchain, there is no outgoing transaction from his wallet, most likely this is his own wallet, what can you think of?
Yeah surely if the coins aren't moved yet, it surely belongs to him. Usually, coins at an exchange's address are moved immediately.

Or forget and forgive?)
I don't know what to suggest but if I was in your shoes and got scammed for a small amount, I wouldn't bother wasting time with a scammer and instead forget and move on. If the guy for any reason needed that money like some kind of emergency, I would even feel fine about getting scammed but obviously, we can't know it.
2809  Economy / Reputation / Re: How to promote fake Wallet and Ponzi scheme at the same time. on: July 05, 2021, 02:44:29 PM
The number of likes is surely fake and purchased, the number of views might be correct given the dislikes. I felt even the comments made below the video are paid and obviously fake.

It baffles me to think how someone could be so idiotic that they believe money or bitcoin doublers actually exist. I mean there are fake Binance giveaways and Musk giveaways on Twitter and people actually fall for it, just bizarre and beyond my level of understanding. I mean if Musk wants to gift coins he can do that directly, why would he ask first.

There are countless ponzi schemes and people despite knowing the model of a ponzi is to scam at the end because no ponzi can last forever, still invest and lose money.
2810  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop losses on: July 05, 2021, 09:34:24 AM
Stop loss is commonly used when you do trading, but actually, I am not into trading because it is really risky for me as I dont have good knowledge about technical analysis, so I am more focused on investing which is really profitable for me, just make sure always that you have invested in good coins so you can assure that you can earn good profit on it, avoid coins that are only pump and dum it won't survive in the long term.
Actually investing is one of the two pillars of trading. Trading means buying an asset or coin at the best price and selling them at the peak value. If you are investing still I would suggest you to use stop-loss because although you are banking on the futuristic value of the coin and have invested for the long term, it is always good to have a stop loss in case the project falls off for any reason or there is not enough interest towards it.

Setting a stop-loss doesn't mean you will have loss, if you feel you have high confidence in your investment, then you can set a low stop-loss such that it won't trigger below a particular amount and since you have faith in your decision, it shouldn't go down to that point and if it does go down that low, I guess you made a mistake and stop-loss saved you from a bigger loss.
2811  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is Trading Plane ? on: July 05, 2021, 08:01:12 AM
Trading plan is a way to ensure safe funds without risking too much or too small. It is a set of rule that guide one from trading and making decisions about the market. This rules are set by an individual to guide through risks, stop lose, take profit and patterns use in trading. A lot of new traders are not always conscious about their plans which contains all rules guiding individual trade.
A trading plan is a must for everyone and you're right most of the new traders are not conscious and aware enough to make a rigid plan and stick to it. Being a trader is as serious as maintaining a business hence one must have a well defined plan and the mentality to stick with it even when the market is unfavorable.

There could be a lot of things you should include when making a trading plan but some of the crucial things are:

1- Time & Capital management
2- Recovery planning along with alternative plans
3- Tools required for trading and the knowledge to use them

Yeah, they are. And you are right that their team is active and responsible.
And once if we have an issue or they have such issues with our account, they are very active on their support service by email. They are active on the worktime and will reply to our email soon. They are also responsible for what their user's problem and try to solve the problem soon. I can say so because I also ever had this kind of issue and the issue was clear and done less than 24 hours.
Yes I'm playing on their site but not very active and there are no complaints on how they run their gambling site, there's an existing complaint about Stake now, hopefully no Betfury players will experience the same thing, it's inconvenince for a player to have a huge amoun tto withdraw but he cannot I hoep they can keep their repuation clean, honestly they have a lot of better features than other gambling sites.
Every casino will eventually have at least one problem, it is the nature of the business and that is how it works. At the end of the day it is coding, most of this is just pure coding (and some design of course) and codes could always have problems, and maybe even loopholes if you are not careful enough, which means there is always at least one thing that people will complain about eventually. Thank god that it hasn't happened yet here, but that doesn't mean that it will never happen, one day they will do some improvements on the website, or add something new and there will be a problem.

It is not bad that they may end up with a problem, that is normal and we should see it as something understandable and acceptable. However how they react to that problem is the thing we should care about, because some places just ignore it, and some places take care of same day, that is what we should care about.
2813  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chips.gg |🎰 100k Event | Daily New Slots | on: July 03, 2021, 10:03:36 PM

The best one survives, and the worst one just bankrupts big time. Meanwhile the winner is always the gamblers because they get better and better stuff from casinos that are trying to be the biggest.
I agree the online gambling industry now because of the pandemic has become the largest income-generating online it's a multi-billion dollar industry, and each one wants to get the big slice, and we here on Bitcointalk obviously knows who got the big slice, those gambling sites that offer a lot of features bonuses, maintain their reputation and takes care of their players by offering them something new.
It is not even that easy, you have to keep giving more and more games to people, it doesn't have to be new game but different version of same game, think about slots for example where you could have one slot made in the website and that is fine but there are now places offering up to 1000 different slots, competing with that requires you to partner up with some third party provider. There are blacjacks now in many places there are basically all kinds of games and there are several I have never heard before as well.

It is really getting very very competitive. However you are right, there are billions of dollars made in this online crypto gambling world so each company is trying to take their own share of that, which requires you to spend a lot of money. If you are small time place with not so much funds then you have zero chance to succeed in here.

I am not sure if it is going to be staking or farming. They said that the earning will be BFG but they didn't say if it will be a LP that will earn us that BFG or will it be a staking.
It's going to be a single BFG staking pool. It seems Betfury is not that familiar with how AMMs and Yield farming platforms use the term Farming. They only based it on the definition from Binance academy which is locking up cryptocurrencies and getting rewards.

where is the dividends coming from otherwise, we need more and more gamblers.

The dividends are from BetFury itself. As an incentive for players "supporting" their tokens, they give a portion of their profits back in dividends so it's not all about price appreciation.

Just like companies issuing the same to their shareholders.
I think you are missing @tygeade's point here. He probably means where will dividends come from if there will be less gamblers but I think he's referring more to BFG miners. The introduction of staking (farming as Betfury calls it) kinda discourages mining. Apart from the six months locking period, the post-listing mined tokens will not be eligible for staking as stated in the rules posted by @CryptoNika.
Starting from the last; yes that is what I mean. If they are giving share of the profits, if there are no gamblers in the website that means there is nothing we could profit from and there will be no dividends. Which is why we should encourage more and more mining and gambling, that should be the number one thing about betfury.

Look at the last few pages and you will see only the farming part, if this place becomes a token place and not a casino place then we are talking about seriously less and less dividends earned and that is not something we could profit from as token holders, if we can't profit from it then we will sell it and when you sell the price goes down and the farmers will lose too, there is really no winners all around if there are no gamblers so that should be number one priority at all times. With farming we are not getting anything like that at all, hence staking should not happen.

45% is including compounding per annum that never actually will occur.  Its a figure for comparison sake, like you can compare that to the figure given on FBC itself.   The obvious question really is can I do this 14 period then straight away do another 14 day period, thats not yet answered.   I presume its done on a promotional basis to achieve a wider involvement, the important part is per person this is available right now but not likely forever.
On the longer terms stated it comes into line with what you can get if it were BTC and FBC and also I'd have to account for the lost premium benefits during that time.  Does Binance take the FUN and move it to FBC to collect free wheel spins.   I used to collect royalties via a casino 'listed' holding that wasnt simple to trade, % wise it was quite attractive but alot of doubt came with its returns vs risk performance.  In that case I gained on the pricing as it appreciated with confidence people had in returns, maybe Binance has that idea and they run their own token so have the idea its a feasible plan.
I doubt that binance would care enough about it to make free wheel spins on FBC, that just doesn't sound like something Binance would even care to do. Remember this is a multi-billion dollar company that can pay you for absolutely nothing just to get more customers and that is what they are known for. They are known for losing ton of money by giving out money on the new listings and then they end up with more customers in the long run.

I have seen 200k or so giveaways on nearly every single new listing as a trading competition for example and they lose money on that however they get all that new people from the new coin as well. Those coins are usually listed in some other place first, binance is rarely any coins first listing, and binance gets those people out of that exchange and into their own exchange by losing money but then making profit long term.
2816  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|⚡️Free BTC+BNB|⚡️$3.5mln Staking pool|⚡️BFG listing party on: July 02, 2021, 10:14:12 PM
I filled in the vote with the answer 'no'

farming has the risk of 'impermanent loss' and I see this is really detrimental to the farmer. I prefer staking BFG on betfury and get paid tokens consistently.

Impermanent loss should not be a worry. The way they have described this it should work similar to the launchpool they have on Biswap but instead of staking BSW you stake BFG to get more BFG.
I am not sure if it is going to be staking or farming. They said that the earning will be BFG but they didn't say if it will be a LP that will earn us that BFG or will it be a staking. If we put in BFG and earn BFG then it is fine, I would still say no because I want people to gamble and earn it instead of just farm it, where is the dividends coming from otherwise, we need more and more gamblers.

However at least it would make sense to let people earn BFG by staking BFG. However, if it is farming and it is like BFG-BSW farming gives you BSW but also BFG then it becomes a bit of a challenge, it becomes such way that IL is a real threat and the price could change and what you own could be horrible. I farmed a token that dropped from 10 dollars to 0.05 and the IL that I got was not impermanent, it was quite permanent and I did lose all of my bnb there because of it, who knows same can't happen here?
2817  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chips.gg |🎰 100k Event | Daily New Slots | on: July 02, 2021, 09:41:30 PM
The overall experience is what we weigh to rank the casinos we play from other casinos. Every casino has common gambling games and what matters the most is how did they present us or offer us those games. With the steep competition of crypto casinos, Every feature is necessary for them to stand out the most. They also need to perform consistently to get their customer's loyalty to them.
Can we basically say that crypto gambling world is the biggest fight of the free market? I mean it is as free as it gets because there is a big lack of regulations (aside from KYC that is pumping up these days) and you can do whatever you want as a casino, while trying to get gamblers to pick you, many even took advantage of this situation and scammed gamblers as well, we all remember those casinos that shall not be named.

So in the gambling world, we have companies who are trying their hardest, and some of them becomes the best, some of them goes down the drain and that is how the free market works. It is like capitalism won the whole world and we are extreme version of American capitalism in the crypto gambling world. The best one survives, and the worst one just bankrupts big time. Meanwhile the winner is always the gamblers because they get better and better stuff from casinos that are trying to be the biggest.
2818  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright is real Satoshi? No way! on: June 29, 2021, 09:39:51 PM
This guy is just doing all these things because he knows very well that Satoshi Nakamoto and other Bitcoin developers are not ready to show their face in public, so that’s why he is just taking advantage of it to misbehave. This is so damn annoying because I thought that we have finally passed the Craig Wright story since I have stopped seeing stories about on this forum. I am surprised to see this one again.

This shows that this guy is not ready to give up until he finally learns the hard way. If he is claiming to be the real Satoshi Nakamoto, why not just do something that will make everyone to believe, like signing the address that holds the Satoshi coins? And moreover , if he is the real Satoshi, then why did he abandon the project to create BSV?
2819  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to deal with bear markets on: June 29, 2021, 04:00:15 PM
Looking at that number five, why would anyone even know that you are investing and trading in cryptocurrency? Okay ,maybe your ex might know if they were dating then and you were trading cryptocurrency and also open to them about it. I don’t tell anyone that I am trading cryptocurrency, it is something I keep to myself, but my family knows about it and only them.

And moreover, I don’t let anyone know about my situation, whether I am winning or I am losing, I just keep it to myself. It’s nobody’s business. And also I am not the type of person that is always talking about cryptocurrency and making it known to everybody what I am up to. It’s good to keep things like this to yourself, you shouldn’t let everyone when you’re falling or winning. If they know when you win, they will envy you. And if they know when you fall, they are going to laugh and that will discourage you if you’re not strong enough. So it’s bad to tell people, learn to mind your business and stop making it a public business.

<snip>
Nobody said you should not talk about other places, I just meant do not talk about it in other places groups. For example if you want to talk about casino A, go talk about it on casino A topic and not at casino B topic, same goes to Casino B, do not talk about it in the topic of casino A. That is of course my opinion and not the general rule of thumb, I have seen a million casinos talked about in this topic, and if you go to other topics you will get to see many different casinos talked in there as well, people do love that, I just do not feel like that is the right thing to do.

Obviously speaking it makes speaking a bit difficult because I limit, but I just say "certain casino" and get out with it. Also not all places are like that, most places do offer a flat rate, so let's say you have 5% rakeback (for example only) then if you gamble a million dollars you get more back then a guy who wagered 100 bucks, simple math.
