2802  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Unofficial USB adapters for ASICMiner Tube/Prisma on: December 31, 2014, 12:39:51 AM
I have had a bit better luck with fewer errors with 4.7+ as well.
The adapters are working well.
 Cool

Mine arrived today in the UK, thanks very much Smiley.

To run my tube(s) from a Windows 7 pc can someone suggest which version of cgminer to use please.

You should be able to use either the custom 4.6.0 made by ASICMiner, or anything 4.7.0 or newer.  I tested both that 4.6.0 and 4.7.1, I think newer version might be getting a bit better at identifying errors but both ran about the same.

Let me know how windows 7 works for you, XP ran the prisma like shit- expect about 1/2 hour between crashes.  This was tested using a real ASICMiner adapter too, not one I made, so I assume it was drivers.  A lot of people get RPis to run their gear on for this reason.

Ok great thank you. Are you running from a pc or rpi?

Can someone explain how someone could go about opening it without completely destroying it?

Who would do such a thing??  Only a Monster.  Sell it on whatever the eBay is and keep your hands clean.

Only a Monster that made me laugh Cheesy.

I agree these are collectibles that can be used to store bitcoin but the face value is so small if it was loaded for that amount I couldn't see anyone breaking one open to redeem it.

Excellent well done. Thats a good improvement Smiley.

Just out of interest how can you tell which address finds the block?

Code:
    if (isValidBlock){
        redisCommands.push(['hincrbyfloat', coin + ':shares:round' + shareData.height, shareData.worker, shareData.difficulty]);
        redisCommands.push(['sadd', coin + ':blocksPending', [shareData.blockHash, shareData.txHash, shareData.height].join(':')]);
        redisCommands.push(['hincrby', coin + ':stats', 'validBlocks', 1]);
    }

That is the source code that records the user has found the block in the database.

shareData.worker It is the user who has delivered the valid share that matches the block.

Ah I see, thank you Smiley

Is it working ok?

If it works well, it's just like I'm making changes prefer that people are warned. The worst thing that can happen is have to execute a payment manually.

I want to put everything to the test before finding a block of BTC,  there if I can not admit mistakes...

Ok that's good thank you Smiley. Yes it would be good if it was automatic and saved you some work Wink.

Hi aTg,

It says "Test period and improvements in payments system,all warned" on your pool.

Is it working ok?

It's been quite entertaining but I still think its a massive scam. Far too many warning signs....

I agree it should be locked now Tongue. I don't know what gleb will do with his time though Grin.

Don't worry 'bout me, for I'm sure I'll find something worthy to do.

"...icisi posiądą ziemię."

<why does the Polish word for earth - ziemię - resemble zombie?>
