sorry guys can't help you, it works fine on linux and I don't have a windows rig to test with. let's wait for cryptocoderz or wolf0 himself to chime in.

sp-mod private #7 for the 750ti was released 09-jun-2016 (less than one month ago)
Still some juice left to release.
I see some easy pickings in x11evo,sib and lyra2. Could be included in the sp-mod private #8 over the summer...
HE IS ALIVE!!! -- You bring good news, too. Thanks!, and thanks again for your correction on my configuration file for MinerControl. It has been corrected on the Zpool forum: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1260863.msg15464974#msg15464974 --scryptr He is alive but doing private only. There are already a lot of private developers. We need someone to keep up the opensource miner.

I've invested using this site and I'm losing 10%. I've used autoinvest with low risk setting. Draw your conclusions.

still an error with sgminer -k hmq1725 --kernelfile wolf-esp -o stratum+tcp://esp.suprnova.cc:3453 -u XtremVVV.1 -p x -I 13 -g 2
Error: clSetKernelArg of all params failed
I compiled the miner from sources. Maybe the precompiled windows binary is not exactly the same code. Can you share please ?! ... maybe after 2 months i ll be able to use this sgminer with x7 hashrate.. lol For the moment Esp has a very unfair distribution with mining ... But thank you Pallas for the first version sgminer without which the distribution would be even worse.. lol I compiled it on ubuntu 15.10, do you have the same OS?

are you trolling pallas ?! you did 5 posts and still no config cmd .. are you able to use sgminer wolf ?! --kernel wolf-esp doesnt work it's not that hard guys, it's all there. just look at the sample conf file and use it, or translate to cmdline params (--help is your friend): -k hmq1725 --kernelfile wolf-esp

I have this with new sgminer-wolf. please post your commandline and/or conf file, so we can help.

impossible, it's pool config, not miner, only op can add or remove a coin. yesterday i "weakened" it by raising diff, coz i needed to mine a bit on skein pool, but that's boring..
its simple to not mine on an algo. do not include it in the password string, and/or your miner app config. The pool has no control over that. I think he's saying he doesn't want to mine a coin, not an algo.

yeah sp is mia, he said he don't want to continue this, you should make your own thread Pallas, from what i understood you are a coder also, or maybe you have one already
No, I don't have a thread for "ccminer", even though I worked on it for more than a year now. I've submitted some improvements and made some private work. I may fork sp's ccminer and continue from there BUT: - the code base is outdated, we should start from latest tpruvot's; but then it would make more sense to submit to his own fork directly (I did that too). - sp_ said he might eventually post his optimisations on a newer codebase so I didn't want to do a duplicate work. - applying all sp_'s optimisations to tpruvot's is no easy nor quick task; it might take months. - some of the optimisations are on dead or almost dead algos; it might be better to restart from scratch... don't know.

Someone is acting funny. Some time ago I offered to publish a gpu miner speedup (over my own miner) and nobody cared. Then I read a lot of "why isn't the optimised miner available yet?". Now it's there and the diff is the same as before. Did you want the bike? Now ride it!
|
|
|
there is no more talk of ccminer optimisation here for long now. we should move to a generic nvidia mining thread, if there is one. otherwise we can create it.

Hey there everyone, Our first compile and source for the miner by wolf. >>>SOURCE<<<>>>WINDOWS (EXE)<<<Let us know how it works for you, personally I do not have a card to test it with so report your findings. Once more thank you guys. I get this: fatal error: 'sha2big.cl' file not found #include "sha2big.cl" ^
error: Clang front-end compilation failed! Frontend phase failed compilation. Error: Compiling CL to IRare you sure you are selecting the right algo/kernel?

ccminer has both whirlpool and whirlcoin algos which use a different stratum protocol (whirlcoin is the older single sha merkle) else... not in my projects to do wallet dev Question is: why doesn't sgminer whirlcoin work on yiimp?

looks like you're having fun with leds :-) do you think it may work on linux as well?

Why sgminer optimized is still private ?! Sorry about that, We'll go ahead and compile that today and post it up for everyone
some news please ?! Has far has i know this has been a crazy week for main developers, with huge fire where they live and obviously that left them incapable of coding... Im sorry this isnt out yet, but it is one of main priorities at the moment.īThanks for your pacience and continuous support. Meanwhile, you can buy very cheap coins on Cryptopia. When the new wallet is out, price will go up just like difficulty. You think price will go that up? There is a lot coins to be mined. I hope that price will go up some day that a reasonable exchange can be done. For zero point nothing to sell is not reasonable at this moment. That's why I'm suggesting to buy, not to sell.

so amp edition is thrash... I ordered an amp extreme which should be better, let's hope it doesn't have the same flaws :-)
TRIPLE SLOT CARD-- The AMP Extreme is Zotacc's top of the line. It is factory clocked higher than any other GTX of the same "rank" (e.g. 1080, 980ti). The GTX 1080 AMP Extreme is spec'd at "2.5 slots" and has a boost clock (core) of 1900Hz + . The triple-fan cooling system has a massive heat block that accounts for why the card is so wide. The GTX 980ti AMP Extreme that I bought won't fit in the case, period. I am going to build a multi-card open rig around it, instead of replacing my GTX 960 as originally intended. A "2.5 slot" card means that the two adjacent slots on the cooler side are blocked, effectively making the Zotac AMP Extreme card a triple slot card. --scryptr Thanks for the information. I didn't know of the slot occupation. Luckily not a problem for me as I will run it in an open "case".

Did find this interesting item - out of stock! But, still, here they are: http://asicminermarket.com/?product=am440-eth-minerMain advantage on this offering is electricity works out to be 40% lower than running 14 R9 390's. However, at this price you'd rather stick with GPU's Remains to be seen if a rendering becomes a real and working product :-)

yes but the current network is filled with something like 120K gpu, assuming 30MH for each gpu
we can assume that each miner in the world even newbie, can easily add 1/3, i mean a guy with one rig can without problem add 2 gpu to his mining setup every month(actually i think he can add much more the increase is not linear is somehow exponential...)
so the whole network can grow by 1/3 each month, which is 12k gpu, so 360 GH, and this by counting the bar minimum that anyone can add to his farm
A GPU crypto coin only needs to produce $5 million worth Alt Coins, before engineers start making prototype ASIC hardware for it's algorithim. Ethereum is well over that threshold. Where did you get that information? How is it calculated? EDIT: BTW it's offtopic
