As someone who's seen the collapse of the USSR, vodka is the way to go. The US inflation is around 2.5% annual and shows no sign of going up any time soon. Peter Schiff may be a smart guy but he is clearly wrong. Yes, the US economy will hit a rough patch here and there. Economy goes through cycles, up and down, repeat, rinse and cycle again. So, I guess he will be right half the time, like anyone else.
2.5% annual inflation is from the actual method of calculation... Dont get fooled by those flalse number.. Lookup inflation as it was calculated in the 1980's You'll be surprised that inflation is really high, and actual.. just hidden and tricked ! It isn't even hidden that well and it is going to be so high that even the tricked official numbers will get pretty high in the coming year, Yellen is not going to do the right thing, she is going to do what she believes in and what she said she would if it gets tough : more QE |

too pesimistic here... we need more optimism in order to get better prices  We need the necessary and unavoidable economic storm to hit the USA and Europe The sooner it does, the quicker we can work on building a better world but there will be unemployment, riots, murders, wars and martial law before it gets better When the financial system will fall apart and most fiat currencies will be inflated to death, Bitcoin will rise, BTC price and Gold will get well into the 4digits in USD |

Very interesting thread, I would add that we will see probably see hyperinflation in the US but it is hard to predict if it will start in a year, in 3 years or more; you probably cannot increase the money supply by 2digits every year without going into hyperinflation at some point when you have a low one digit growth ect.
