2801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the biggest mistake you've made on crypto? on: January 07, 2021, 07:45:57 PM
Everyone makes mistakes. And they learn a lot from their previous mistakes that will come in handy in the future. I have also made many mistakes in crypto which are very difficult to remember.

Because the mistakes I made were about coins and biggest failure for me. I bought a lot of coins at a good price and sold them at a small profit, later it was found that those coins are now very popular and in the top list in the crypto market. If I had hodl those coins, my financial situation would have been different today. So I don't want to remember the mistakes made in my own crypto, because it’s painful for me.
2802  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Verified Twitter account is being used to promote fake giveaway! on: January 07, 2021, 07:26:49 PM
It's always been like that, and it'll be like that in the future. Whether it's a letter from a Nigerian prince or a 'verified' twitter account, the modus operandi of scammers is always the same.
A promise of a huge 'reward' for a relatively small 'investment.' Well, rinse and repeat. And there will always be gullible and greedy people who fall for deception.

Yeah. These activities of such people will never be completely stopped, because it is almost impossible to eradicate them. These scammers will give up when people no longer fall into such traps. They can now handle these scams because they are getting victims every day.

So everyone should be warned not to fall prey to such scams.

2804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tips to find new gem on: January 07, 2021, 06:57:57 PM
if you are not a whale it is impossible to find gem.
if you are a whale you dont find gem. you make gem.
What do whales have to do with gems? If it is a parable, then you should also know that not all big people (whales) are capable of making a gem, because making gems is not as easy as one thinks.

Right. A whale can play a short term pump and dump game with a coin. But there is no substitute for a good project if you want to get long term and good results. For this, it is important for you to look at the potential projects.

After researching a good project, you should invest in it. So that the invested funds can be kept safe. And hope to make good profit in the future.
2805  Economy / Speculation / Re: I doubt Bitcoin will dip below 20k again on: January 07, 2021, 06:41:25 PM
Bitcoin is really different from before, the thing that bitcoin reaches $20k that time is because of the whales, but as of now, we cannot say that it is because of the whales only, but because there are big companies that are adopting the use of bitcoin, Paypal and Visa are one of them, that online payment system has a big impact of today's price of bitcoin, making it famous all around the world. The downfall of the price is possible since we all know that cryptocurrency is volatile in terms of its value.

You are right. If the crypto market is not volatile then how is it crypto! But what you said is that now the big companies understand the importance of Bitcoin and they are adopting it. In the near future, bigger companies will come forward to adopt Bitcoin and that will be a huge thing.

So the situation is different now from the bull market of 2017. Demand for Bitcoin will increase in the coming days and its impact will be felt in the market.
2806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tell me about some other low cap gems please; I want to buy on: January 07, 2021, 05:48:35 PM
Look for some forks, in 2017 few popular forks like Bitcoin lightening and bitcoin diamond did so well more than even BCH because they are very cheap before the bullrun for altcoins begins, meaning more profits for those who buy them at the time

Bull pumps all the coins in the market, that the crypto community saw in 2017. It was like seeing a bull market to show a large size event. Older members know what a bull market looks like and how to pump coins. The ICO hype in 2017 was worth watching and the new coins came into the market and played extensively. So the experience of that time will be useful now, now it would be better to do a little research before buying any coin so that you don't have to suffer from any kind of problem suddenly.
2807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Remember when ETH was $1400 a few years ago then crashed to $70 as BTC crashed? on: January 07, 2021, 05:31:57 PM
there are not the same conditions as in 2018 now the dominance of bitcoin on the market is much more pronounced, there is no doubt that bitcoin has reached its all-time high while ethereum trudges and has a slower climb and has not yet reached its maximum value (1400 $) but i think that with a little more time it will get there, at least for me it is not scam

ETH has come very close to its previous ath. Since Bitcoin is now dominant, eth is getting a little late to go to its new ath. I think eth could record something more new this year. Maybe it will take some more time.

The market is now in full bull run, so it remains to be seen when eth will go full force towards its new ATH. This is not a scam.
2808  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Trust Wallet Fake Giveaway(Phising Attempt) on: January 07, 2021, 04:58:48 PM
Now a lot of different popular project names are being used on social media to scam crypto users through fake giveaways. Trust wallet is one of the most popular wallets at present.

So the reason their name is used by scammers is that the user they have may get wrong information, especially new users will fall into some confusion. Everyone should expose them as soon as they see all these fake giveaways, so that their purpose cannot be achieved.
2809  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed by Mercatox.com -11.63 ETH on: January 07, 2021, 03:21:25 PM
This Mercatox.com is full of shit, fake volume by their staffs. I have traded some cryptocurrency and converted to Ethereum , which is 11.63 ETH, they have locked my account. I have contacted them by support ticket for last 1 month, still they kept my account locked, not letting me withdraw.

What else i can do against them?
Please suggest

11+ ETH is not a small amount. Why do you choose such a low quality exchange to exchange your funds? I used this exchange a long time ago to exchange some of my funds. At that time I did not face any problem.

Now you should keep in touch with them regularly, and if they want any kind of information, give them that information.

Well i did not knew , it will be like this. Last 1 month i have tried many ways, they did not let me do withdrawal. Currently they even stopped reply on tickets.
Tickets:
Kept Locked:

This has really created a serious situation for you. It is really doubtful why they stopped replying to you, it is important to know what could be the reason behind it. I sent an email to Mercatox.com about your current situation, now let's see what they reply to me. I will definitely let you know if I get any good reply from them.

2811  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Verified Twitter account is being used to promote fake giveaway! on: January 06, 2021, 07:54:44 PM
They used verified twitter accounts so that newbies can easily believe whatever they say, it's an old trick that still works because we have millions of crypto newbies that head to twitter to vital information without knowing that they aren't legit info but a format to rob them

Since scammers are now using every way to scam, now everyone should be a little extra careful. And they have been using verified accounts for the purpose of scamming newbies, trying to mislead them. The number of new investors in the bull market increases tremendously, causing scammers to scam new investors by sharing misinformation and tempting offers.
2812  Other / Beginners & Help / Verified Twitter account is being used to promote fake giveaway! on: January 04, 2021, 05:44:04 PM
The fake giveaway is being widely promoted by some verified Twitter accounts. It is a matter of wondering whether those accounts really belong to the original owner, or whether these accounts have come to these scammers illegally who are now using these accounts to promote fake giveaways for the purpose of scam. Many times such accounts are verified by scammers using various shortcuts.

So those who see the verified account and easily believe it should be more careful. Because now there are a lot of fake accounts, whose main job is how to easily trap and scam newbies. I hope the newbies will spend some time for learning, which will save them from falling into this kind of trap.

Even this account has only 491 followers. So how is this account verified? They have also verified this account by fooling Twitter!

2814  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without setting stop loss (Risky or Not)? on: December 30, 2020, 07:56:51 PM
stop lose is very useful when you trade,
to be honest I never use stop lose when trading and it makes me always pay attention to the market,
because I am afraid if the price suddenly drops.

Trading without a stop loss is suicidal. Even if you do it in order to always keep an eye on the market. WHAT? Why take such a risk?
After all, you can just put a stop loss and put an alert in a third-party program that will tell you in time that the price has gone down.

Stop loss is definitely good for option traders. However, proper use of stoploss is important to reduce the amount of losses. It is often seen that losses have been incurred due to the use of stoploss, the reason being that stoploss was used without proper market analysis so that the market goes uptrend again after the stoploss is hit.

So if traders use stoploss properly, traders will be able to save their accounts from huge losses.
2815  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will be hitting to $35000 soon - Buy it today!! on: December 30, 2020, 07:24:53 PM
Good god it is still going up. When correction??

Thought $28k just after Xmas would be short term top and we'd at least get low 20s again. But it only managed to dip just under $26k a couple times and at this moment right now it's pushing up to $29k! Are we gonna see $30k in the coming days??

Maybe we're going to see $30k very soon, who knows. When the majority of people think that the market will go where it is but the market reacts in the opposite direction. Now that the market is in that state, it seems to me that the price of Bitcoin will go far beyond $30k.

But it's hard to say for sure, we can only predict, we can't say for 100% sure.
2816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 best staking coins? on: December 30, 2020, 06:58:15 PM
There are lots of staking coins in the market now. Finding the best coins is not an easy task, because new coins are being added every day. I personally do not like to run after this staking, maybe in the coming days my decision may change. If you want to do staking then you can do staking stablecoin, this will not affect the price as a result of market fluctuations. And to staking ETH requires big funds 32 ETH, which is a huge fund for any normal investors.
2817  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] ideltaprotocol - AI generated images on: December 30, 2020, 06:41:02 PM
They spend their talents in such activities for the purpose of fooling and scamming people. Now that the market situation is good, they want to quickly grab money through their fake projects.

They thought no one would be able to catch them doing such things, but they may not know that experts like you are sitting there to expose their evil intentions.

Good catch OP.
2818  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [banned mixer] - Broken system, no output on: December 30, 2020, 06:24:14 PM
Oops! It was [banned mixer], not coinmixer, my bad.

Either way, perhaps I wasn't intentionally scammed. Either way, I lost my funds.

I can show all transaction ID's and the Letter of Guarantee as well. Any admin?

If you have proof, you can share it here to prove that cyptomixer.io has scammed you. If your evidence is strong, DT will tag the [banned mixer] account. However, [banned mixer]'s BitcoinTalk account has been offline for some days.

2819  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long will go Bitcoin? on: December 30, 2020, 05:48:12 PM
Currently from the research have don and from the experience am having bitcoin might hit $30k before ending of January 2021, from the way bitcoin is bullishing there are more people getting into bitcoin and there are more investors getting into it!!! But I still have the believe bitcoin might still dump.

No one can say what will happen to Bitcoin in the days ahead. What you are saying is just a prediction and this kind of prediction is baseless without any kind of analysis. If you have an analysis, you can share it, which will benefit the rest of the investors. Because there are so many new investors who don't have much idea about the market, educational analysis can help them.
2820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hedera Hashgraph is ten times better than Ethereum on: December 30, 2020, 05:29:02 PM
Remember before, everyone was sure that Ethereum would kill the Bitcoin blockchain. But in reality, nothing like this has happened, there are not really any differences. It's just that some cryptocurrencies are growing because they are trusted, and others because they are used.

Every time a lot of coins come in the market and promote the projects as the killer of bitcoin. But the reality is that their useless coins have no value other than Bitcoin. Those who promote other projects know that they have no existence without Bitcoin.

But ETH is definitely a good project so they are still doing well in the market, but it is not fair to compare it to Bitcoin.
